Here we go again! “The Singing Bee” is back again! CMT is currently looking ofr males and females, all ethnicities that know the lyrics and are not scared to sing them out nation wide on TV. They are search for all types of singers… the good, the bad, and even the tone deaf.
You just have to know the lyrics from various musical genres including COUNTRY and know them well. If this is you, we’d love to see you audition. Please submit and let us know why you could rock this game show and take home the BIG MONEY!
About: The Singing Bee is a karaoke type game show. It was originally on NBC but is now airing on CMT. It combines both karaoke singing and a spelling bee-style competition. The game show features contestants trying to remember the lyrics to popular songs. Originally slated to begin with a six episode series during the fall of 2007, it launched early in reaction to FOX’s competing Don’t Forget the Lyrics!

I'm 19 years old, (20 in September of 2016) I come from a very small town and have grew up listening to and singing country music. My mom had a professional karaoke sound system and Her and I sang on that forever up until I moved out. I have always had a huge passion for country music, there's not a day that goes by that I don't sing a country song or listen to one. Country music just makes you feel good inside! I remember coming home from school when I was younger and forcing my brother to watch the singing bee with me. And I would always sing a long with the game and tell my mom I could win that show! wow! What a coincidence you guys are looking for people to audition because I was just sitting here thinking back to watching the singing bee and always screaming at the tv.. "Wow you really didn't know that" or "well there's another episode I could have won!" I would never think someone like me would get the opportunity to do something THIS cool but man would I be so grateful and SO excited. I am a master of lyrics. Every night I sing my three daughters to sleep just as my mother did me when I was their age. My four year old says "Mommy sing a whole bunch of songs!" So to meet this demand I sing. I am captivated by music and despite a severe hearing impairment can sing in tune near any song of country or old rock genre. I haven't read the above comments, although I'm sure lots of folks have great voices or need money or love the show. I do LOVE the show and who doesn't need money, but I have a different reason for wanting to be on the Singing Bee. I am 53 years old, was on the radio as a deejay for 20 years and played on almost every genre of music, my personal fav is COUNTRY!! I'm a horrible singer , "really bad" (as my husband will attest) but I LOVE TO SING!! I have only sung karaoke once (had a blast)and know the words to more songs than anyone I know. I'm an old hippie who loves to party and yell "hell yeah" at the top of my lungs. I live in the Carolina mountains, bbq and put on my IPod and sing every word very loudly, so I'm sure the neighbors hear me all the way to Nashville('cos the echo lol)
