Hello, as I sit and prepare to post this comment I would like to thank God for the opportunity in making it this far. Singing is a gift as well as a passion of mines. I believe that music expresses that which can't be said. I have been singing for as long as I can remember never recognizing the annointing that it brings, singing just to be singing and sometimes just to hear the magic and powers of the vocal cords. Before my mother was gifted with her voice and incredible ability to play the piano/organ . . . she is Anointed! The 1st daughter of a Texas Baptist minister who founded several churchs, she has been singing almost since birth. She has been playing the piano(organ) since she was five. She has been directing choirs since she was 8 years old. She loves the LORD more than anything!! I have yet to witness my mother sing, either a lead part with a choir – or a sermonic solo . . . and not receive a standing ovation and request to continue.

My name is Pat Burke. I have always been rooted and grounded in the church. That is the first place that I ever sang at. I am 49 years old and have a talent that God gave me that I have not been able to share in the way that I think he would have me to. I have been singing with local R&B and Jazz bands since I was a teen. I think that I was never able to make it big because that was not my calling. I am currently going through many trials but still know that God is able. I lost my job in April and forced to move from my home recently. I am now barely making ends meet but God has still supplied all of my needs. I am currently enrolled in school, majoring in Information Technology. I just want a chance to present my gift that God has given me in a way that will be pleasing to him. Singing is my life. If I find myself slipping into depression listening to and singing Gospel music always lifts me up and lets me know that everything will be alright. Due to my age, there are not many venues that I can display my talent in but Sunday Best does not discriminate due to age THANK GOD! I had to be at least 6 years old when I heard myself singing along with the gospel station that my father who was a pastor used to have on 24 hours a day. I knew then that I had the voice of a star. I am going to see if sunday best is the platform that God is going to use for me!

Hi my name is Tamela Latavia Brazill and i'm from Dolton IL(chicago) I come from a family of twelve me being the youngest. i was born and raised in church my Father was a decon until he passed away in 2003 my mother who was a missionary is now a minister. I will 20 yrs old on May 13 2011, I lost three sisters due too illness.I just want to spread the word of gospel to the young people as well the older people to whom have been singing before my time. I love to singand when i sing i know im singing to the glory of god and he has truly favored me especially through my ups and downs. When i was born the doctors told my other i was not goning to make it thenthey told her i wasn't going to be able to see the age of 16 because i wieghed 1lbs and 13 ounces…but through the grace of god i made it to see 19 and hopefully Sundays Best.

I can remember growing up not being interested in anything but singing and hearing my mother and father ask the question What Do U Want To Do Son? One day my dad came home from work early and I didnt hear him come in and I was singing to God! Of course u know that my dad said ohhhhh so thats what you want to do!
