I am so hoping someone can help us here in South Africa? My son who is now 6 was very sick when he was 1 onwards. He had childhood interstitial lung disease. He spent most of his time in hospital, having biopsies and living on oxygen. Our whole family went through a hell of a lot, including my now 13yr old son. We live in a 100 square meter house which needs so much work done. Many windows are cracked, Cords lying all over. The house hasn't been painted in 10 years and the window sills are cracking and our kitchen is falling apart. We are really battling, this month I can't even pay school fees. We never go out to eat, to movies but spend our life in our little house. I would really appreciate any help if you do have any contacts in South Africa. Please ABC

Hi my name is Theresa Yates,I am writing to you on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law.Their names are Sherry and Leon Bonds.They live in Florence,Alabama.They are very good people that are always helping others,but never them selves.They are both disabled and have very little money to fix their home. Through the years they have raised over a dozen children,3 of their own,3 that they have adopted and numerous other children that they have taken in. The most recent child they adopted has been in the last year,and she also has medical problems that they deal with every day.It takes a toll on them emotionally as well as financially.Also in the last few months they have taken in our mother who is 85 and has frontal lobe dementia.I know this sounds like it can't be true but it is.They truly do put others before them selves,and I would so love for them to have something for themselves without them feeling like they are not worthy of someone caring what condition their home is in. They have never done any of this to be rewarded or praised.They just do because of the love they have for others.I truly hope you will consider them as worthy of help.Thank you for your time. I'm writing to you about my uncle and his family from Brookings, Oregon. My uncle has a nine year old son that was recently diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, which is cancer of the brain and spine. He has had a tumor removed and will be undergoing chemo and radiation therapy for the next year. The main issue is that the house they are living in is not considered to ba as sterile as it would have to be in order for him to spend this year at home. My uncle is very hard-working and has been a mechanic in this small town for quite some time now. He is a generous and kind man who would help anyone, and always seems to be in a good mood. They have another child that lives in the home as well. My aunt and uncle are determined to have him home during the treatments as they want to spend as much time as they can with him in case, God forbid, it doesn't go well. They are trying to get enough funding together to at least redo his room, but then he will be completely confined to his room even if they are able to get it done. There is much to do and none of us want him to have to live in the hospital. They also have to travel quite a ways for the treatments and it isn't covered by their insurance. Needless to say, they are in desperate need and no parent should ever have to see their child go through this, let alone be in no position to make his life comfortable while he is going through this. I'm reaching out for help, and I know that no matter what happens it is God's will. Thank you sincerely for reading, as I'm sure every story touches your hearts as it does mine.
I have watched your show for as long as it has been on the air. My mother in law to be is renting to own a two bedroom one bath house. My fiancé, myself and his two children are currently living with her until my fiancé can pass his state boards for Nursing. We have tried to do some remodeling our
selves but fell short due to financial difficulties. My mother in law has worked endlessly since her teens, raising three boys while working 2 and 3 job just to pay the bills. We are struggling to keep the lights and water on each month and just have given up on finishing the remodeling and repairs. My fiance, an Iraq war vet can't even take the time to study for his state boards for worrying over bills and how we will make it til the next day.
Hello my name is Haley Kistler and I am 14 years old. I have ne'er been able to bring my friends to my house because I am so ashamed of it. We have always been a very poor family. My dad left my mom and he moved to Kentucky and left us here in this horrible house. it doesn't have central air or heat so in the winter we freeze to death it we're not two pair of pants and wrapped up in a blanket. and in the summer it is so boiling hot that I'd rather stay outside because the inside of the house is hotter. our house is very old and we don't have any money or any choice to fix it. my house is very far from my school. we have rats, snakes, roaches, spiders, you name it. we have it. our house stinks of mold because there is so much moisture and it just turns to mold. a while back, my father was going to renovate the house but he ne'er finished and the kitchen is cover in sheet rock. he made the stairs and they don't even have a rail on them and it is an extreme hazard. we have wood floors in our bathroom and laundry room and my mom has already had her foot fall through the floor while doing laundry. I hate living like this and I can't take it anymore. just to use the bathroom we have to turn on the blow dryer to heat ourself up while using the toilet. this family has been through enough and we still have to deal with this. I know that you probably aren't even going to see this but if you do pick us for your show we would be so blessed and thankful you don't even know. so please I'm begging you. Dear Ty hi my name is Kedric Brissette I am a home owner and have build a mech. shop from word of mouth , and i would like to tell you a little story …my first son was born with c.f. which finally took his life at 23 he had a great life as much as i could give him what a blessing he was through those years he taught me what life was all about and how i should live it even when his mom and me had gone our own ways what a son it was 7 years Oct 13 that we said our good by..as the years past i got into buisness with my dad started a shop that i now run and hope to own some day. then i found my wife she had a 6 month old son at the time so small so cute we got married and had to more kids a daughter and another son 9 years has gone by and still to this day all of are love is strong then the older child Gavin started getting head pain ,double vision ,now this is a child that has never been sick never mist a day of school which he loves took him in first they said it was a ear infection then they said he had a double ear infection we are like look there is something going on with this kid and it is not a infection then we finally got a M.R.I. at that point 6 months later they all start to freak out life fighted him to Portland Oregon we live in this small town Harbor Oregon 7 hrs away they tell us he has a tummer on the back of his brain. So at this point as you may know our family's life has just changed we find out that he has Medulloblastoma and that he has to go through six weeks of radiation then two weeks of chemo and then two weeks rest then back to the radiation and the chemo this will continue for a year or more ( he is only 9 years old ) we live in a 30 year oil mobile home that is so falling apart in all ways, right now i have started to make him a clean room which has used up all i have to to this and now my other son which is four has to sleep with me for our home was only a three bedroom my 7year old daughter has her own room which it took me two years to build out of the master bathroom first time i ever did a remodel wow! anyway Ty my town has given us awesome support just look at my face book page (Kedric Brissette jr) but our needs are out weighing the support the biggest worry i have is getting this house ready so he has a safe and supper clean place to go when he is not at the hosp.i hope and pray you really do read these and some how i have touched your heart as my son has touched ours and many others who have grown to know him i only have untill Dec. 12 2014 to have this done or almost done at least i will have his room ready. We have never asked for anything. I am so hoping to make it on your show. We live in South Dakota so I know that's out of the way but I'm really looking for a miracle. I got divorced a few years ago and moved into a nice rental house with my 3 kids. Eventually I started dating a guy I have been friends with since I was 16. We always kinda had a crush on each other we just never went for it. Everything was going amazingly. We decided we should move in together and we were looking into buying my rental since it was big and spacious and he also has 3 kids. Shortly b4 he was going 2 move his stuff over my house burned 2 the ground. All my belongings gone in a flash. The community was wonderful and donated many things and had fundraisers that brought in about 7000 dollars. But we still needed a place 2 live. His landlord had already found a renter for his home since he was planning on moving into mine but they graciously gave us a couple of months 2 find a new home. Not much time to buy a new house though. It was a limited market and we ended up buying the only home that wasn't completely falling in in our small price range. It just so happens that there's 8 of us and only 2 bedrooms. We thought by the low cost of the home we would be able 2 save money for renovating the basement and making more bedrooms and a bathroom. But after insurance and everything else it ended up being more then we expected.N with 8 of us it's high living costs. I am the housekeeping supervisor at the nursing home here I love working there and helping the elderly and made lots of friends there. Cody is a vet assistant and works on saving animals all day and loves it. It's a lot of long hours for both of us sometimes though and we still barely make ends meet. Then we come home 2 our cramped little house n we got kids crashing on floors n couches in the living room and it just doesn't work. My oldest daughter is 12 and she won't even live with me, she stays at my parents house because she doesn't have a bedroom or space for herself which a 12 year old needs. We put sheets up to try and make a bedroom in the basement for her but it's not very private and it freaks her out cuz it just feels like an old scary basement still and not a room. It kills me because there only young for so long and I'm missing out on all kinds of stuff with her. We just don't have money to make it work. I don't know what else to do but hope for a miracle and I hope you will be it.

She has been left with a disaster house .Everyday she is embarrassed of her house and hates to come/go home , that's not a nice reaction towards your house. No one is trying to help her with anything. I want to be the one to help her change. She had recent surgeries on her back. Its going to take time to get herself back and running. She has to learn how to walk again. So far its been hard. I am in need of a home makeover my bathroom on the first floor has a hole by my bathtub where you can see down into my basement I am afraid one of the kids are going to fall through. Also our heating system went and we do not have the funds to get it fixed. Also our home insurance just canceled us because I need a new roof. Also both of my decks out side are wobbly and also some other issues. We have guardianship of our grandchildren. We are a deserving family. I have little seizures daily andmy my mother is a full time waitress so my girlfriend helps take care of me and my children. My daughter is currently pregnant with her first child and my first grandbaby. The trailer they live in is in really bad shape black mold has eat in up the whole bedroom among a lot of other issues with the place, it's really not fit to bring a chi l d into. And they worry constantly about it. It's very stressful. His mom and dad gave them another trailer but it needs so much work as well an only so much they can do between him working. I am writing to you today on behalf of my mom. While in her early 20's she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called Lupus. With this disorder her immune system attacks itself, resulting in more illnesses and physical disabilities. In the near future she will be tested for Multiple Sclerosis. When our parents divorced we lost our handyman, and main source of income, our dad. The divorce has left our house run down and falling apart. Many projects that were started on the house have been left incomplete, to include one wall in our garage which was torn down in hopes of creating another door to move vehicles through. We currently tried replacing the kitchen floor only to find out that we would have to save up for months just to cover the estimated cost. Our house was constructed during the 1950's and practically nothing has been updated. Our outer walls do not have insulation, our roof does not hold in heat during winter, our pipes have never been replaced, the house has termites, our heater went out during Christmas 2013 and our living room temperature reached a low of 45 degrees. Because our house is so small I sleep in the living room with our two dogs, while my sister and mom have their rooms. So for a few days during the Christmas holiday I bought bundles of firewood to heat the living room. Unfortunatly with our poor insulation the fire did not keep the house warm. My mother has these great big dreams of the house she wants but we are in no financial situation to fulfill my moms dreams. My mom commutes to work and is gone a few days out of the week working with people who need legal advice. She helps people who hare being evicted from their homes, who are trying to gain custody of their children, who are in abusive relationships, and she does this while going through her pain. She has been working ever since she was 15 and has not been able to relax and enjoy life because of our financial situation and her many illnesses and disabilities. My mom worked hard to put me through private schools so my education could give me the life she never had. I would not be attending my university today if it wasn't for her pushing me to be a better person. Please consider my family when casting families for your show. Living in California is extremely expensive and we cannot afford to move to a new house or town. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the times to read this. <3

I had an 83 acre farm w a doublewide that was paid for in full. I had to file bankruptcy in 1999 of which my doublewide was not taken since I had the certificate of title & it was paid for in full. The county commissioners bought my farm but stole my 56 thousand $ mobile home against the fed court orders in county court saying it was part of the land by illegally changing the deed. I have been fighting them ever since & my home was moved 6 miles proving it was not attached as they lied about a foundation that doesn't exist. I have the title & it was sold 3 times w/out the transfer of the title illegally. I now live in a home that I paid for in full for 13 thousand but I am allergic to it and it is dangerous. My 8 yr old granddaughter I am raising also, I'm disabled w a shattered vertibrea caused by the county over this battle. We play Russian roulette every time we shower as this house is knob & tube wiring running right under the cast iron bathtub that leaks everywhere onto this wiring. Only 4 windows will open, the cellar floor falling in, the septic pipe has a 4 ft long split that is leaking under the basement, there is mold everywhere, water running through the walls, the chimneys are ready to fall through the roof & we are afraid to sleep upstairs so we sleep on the living room floor. There is an electric box under the kitchen sink that we had to stand at the door & watch the lightning from it when the drain leaked on it. We are living in a nightmare, w fear of a fire. I can't afford homeowners insurance or for any of the necessary repairs. I live on SSI and very little child support since my grand daughters parents are both learning disabled. We will not make another winter here. My grand daughter is very afraid of this house but we have nowhere else to go. Please help us before we get hurt in this place. This place has 3 stories w steep stairs which I fallen down several times and so has my grand daughter. Please, please help us.
Hello I am posting this in hope you can help me and my family, My mothers name is Vanessa she is a strong woman, as a child she took in many children who had issues at their own home, she also had 4 daughters of her own.My mother has been single for about 8 years, Until she met the man who was to change her life, he was cqring , loving, he taught us girls the power of prayer , and he always had so much faith in god that he did not care for material things, if hard times occurred he always would say "God has a plan for everyone", my mother and he had been together for 2 years and throughout that she would tell me how she was finally happy and this was the man she was to marry,she would talk about her dreams with him and the plans they had for her first house that she had finally owned, She was also changing her lifestyle by eating healthy, Exercising, going out to nice places, Just things generally that showed us she was finally happy and settled with her Prince charming .Recently she received a knock at the door,of was the police, already knowing something was wrong she said "please just tell me who it was", it was Her partner. He had been called in to work the day before, on a random shift that he had not been scheduled for, at the train station working security. A man had found him at 4:30am.They checked the cameras and it seems he had passed of a heart attack around 3:00am, on his own, nobody was there to help him. My mother was traumatised, heartbroken and devastated, as were all her daughters. He was due to go on a holiday to Bali with the family 2 days after his passing, he also was expecting a granddaughter (my baby) in 2 months, he had so many plans for her as he did not get the chance to have his own children this meant a lot to him and I made it clear she was going to know him as her papa, He had a doctors appointment in 5 days to check his heart, and the worst part of it all was that when my mother was going through his stuff she found an engagement ring in his pocket, his causing had told her he was saving up to buy her that ring and he was going to propose in Bali when they went on their holiday and he had asked my grandfather for his permission. The wears that ring with so much pride, and we are sad that she never got to walk down the aisle, which was always her main dream with him. She now currently lives in her house with my little sister and my other sister with her children live in a little house out the back, she does not have much money we always just made do with what we had, its sad to say that we live in Australia , but I always watch your shows and I know that your show do perform miracles and I'm hoping you can for my mum, please I pray to go that you can help her out through this horrible time, other than her daughters her house is the only thing she has. I have so much faith in this but as a wise man told me,God has a plan for everything.

Hello, I have watched your show and absolutely love everything you do for everyone. My husband and I bought a 4 bedroom, 2 bath house 4 years ago. Everything was good up until about a year and a half ago. The drain that goes from the basement to the ditch got backed up and started flooding our basement. The kitchen sink and the washer also empty into that drain. We have paid 2 different people to come out to fix the problem but after a while (a week from one guy, 6 hours from the other guy) we were told we have major problems that's going to take thousands of dollars to fix, then they gave up. I spend about 1-2 hours a day with a shop vac cleaning it out to try to keep the mold out of the house. However, there is dampness and a musky smell threw the house no matter how much I clean. My husband works 10 hours a day 5-6 days a week and I am a stay at home mom. We have 7 children (2 that live at home) from the age of 2 to 24 and we are also a foster/adopt family, so we normally have 6 children in the home most of the time. I am at loss as to how to fix our home. I am doing the best I can to work with what we have to keep the house clean so no one gets sick. Please help!
My brother is a US Marine who did two tours of duty in Iraq. The second time he came home, he was struck by a car and now has TBI. He can't walk, talk, eat, or do anything on his own and fully depends on me for everything. I am his sister and full time caregiver. I have reached out to different organizations in hopes to get help with an accessible home for my brother and all of the medical equipment required to care for him. What we live in now is unexplainable. I will gladly post pictures to show the deterioration. All I want is a better home for him and my son. I am a single mother taking care of both my two year old and my 29 year old brother.

My name is Roxanna and I'm 15 years old. My mom Kelly is the most generous person I've ever met. When she was around 20, she had major back surgery and now has a steel rod in her back. She works 12 hours a day as a hairdresser and my dad Greg works at BMW with a permanently injured shoulder and elbow. We can barely afford our bills, and our house is literally falling apart. We've thought about selling our double wide and renting a smaller house but we couldn't afford it and no one would buy our house anyways because of the damages. My mom is the most important person in the world to me and she deserves so much more than this house. She gave birth to my brother, dakota, in 2006 who was born 2 months early with double pneumonia. I love seeing the work you do for people and I would love even more to see something be done for my mom.
I just thought I would go for but me and my husband r in the worst possible situation. We just lost of home and bought ourselves a fith wheel home using all the money we had saved up. We r expecting our first child in 5 wks and this place is not livable for a baby. When we bought it, We askd if we would need to put anymore money into it becuz that was all the money we had and we just can't afford it with our daughter coming so soon. I want to enter my Grandmother to get her trailer made over. recently my cousin passed away leaving her 3 boys behind ages from 7, 9, and 13 leaving my grandmother in a very sad position: mentally, physically and financially it is taking a tole on her. There isn't much room int the trailer where we live now, its just a 3 bedroom/1 bath and which one of the rooms isn't available for sleeping in. The kids all sleep in the living room, each share a couch. I'm crying out to you to please reach out we are in desperate need for help of a new home. I'm doing the very best i can but i just need a little bit more support and help.
I love your show. It's awesome. My Mother is disabled going through double knee surgeries in less than a year and she is fighting to make ends meet. Her blood pressure has been through the roof. Her house is falling apart around her. Her furnace has quit working. Her basement has leaks. The roof is very old and is missing some pieces. The house was built in 1949. She has no gutters because they have fallen down. The house needs painted. Upstairs plumbing does not work. Downstairs bathroom

My name is Shawna.My mother-in-law's name is Beth she has Parkinsons' Disease. Her house is now going into forclosure and she has only her disability check to live on. She recently took my daughter and I in due to my divorce. She has a big heart and has been struggling to own a home her whole life.She is supporting four people on her fixed income.Her domestic partner had a heart attack so he is not able to contribute much finacially. She has tried to save this house three times from forclosure and can no longer do so because the house now has a lein on it. We will soon have to move out and have no resources left to do so.This house we will soon have to leave is not worth saving because it needs $30,000 worth of work and it is only worth 1/4 of what she owes on it.She bought it in 1999 and became disabled in 2006. Her grandaughter was born in 2009 and she had Brain surgery in 2010.She has paid $10,000 alone just saving the house from forclosure the first two times, and has no money left to her name.She is literally living disability check to disability check, while everything else is falling down around her. She has a 1963 Cadillac DeVille which she cherishes dearly but has had no money to restore or maintain it.Soshe is left driving her boyfriends 1991 honda civic which is parked because we can't even afford a timing belt for it.Please Help.We don't know what to do and she has nowhere to turn.She deserves a chance to not struggle with all that life has thrown at her.She is stressedto the max which only makes herParkinsons' worse. They been having trouble try to make the house payment because the power bills keep going up and and doctor appointments. I guess I would like to see my dad and step mom be happy back in their own home. Around 2004,2005 my pap wanted another edition on his house and being the determined man he is he started it and my great grandma was going to help pay for it but then she died. & to this day my pap is tryjng so hard to finish this house but he's getting way to old and has to many health issues to do it. All he wants is for his to be finished before he dies he just doesn't have the help to do it. Please please help my pap have the house he's always wanted.
Our Family has been through a lot…I recently moved into my boyfriends home and he has 2 daughters and I have my Mother and my Son. I have been taking care of my Mother who is an insulin dependent and I myself have Crohns disease. The house we live in currently we are renting…The landlord is ignoring the black mold issue and we have no extra money to move. Hello I am writing for a Mother I work for who is a Nurse. She had the tragic experience of losing her first new born daughter 13 years ago. She became a pediatric nurse do to her lost. She had a healthy son 4 years after. In 2008 she had a lovely daughter who was diagnose with MLD when she was 2 years old. This beautiful girl was told by MD that she would not live more then 6 months she was admitted to hospice do to her dad decline. Her daughter stop walking at age 2 and after the diagnose she lost mobility control of her body and lost the ability to talk. Thanks to God she has cross her 6 years of age with ups and downs in her health. She is an amazing little girl with a smile of an angel. She has difficulty holding her head up. As her muscel tone is like a new born baby. This mother had the support of her own mom who would help her with the children. Her mother (grandmother) was diagnose with canser this year and is now in hospice. This family is having a hard time dealing with two love once health issues. The grandmother that has canser has a house that is small not appropriate for a handicape person. The home is under her daughters name. Who is currently renting a home that has more space for her daughters needs. Before her mother was diagnos she had hope in getting her own home. Now that her mom is having Canser she was considering living with her. The home is just not atiquate for 4 people it is a two bedroom home with small space. At the moment she is caring for her daughter and mother in a rented home as they are having no choise. This wonderful person is really a great deserving person with a deserving family. I hope some one takes interest in this story and bless them greatly.
My mother needs help, her floor is falling in, my stepdad passed of leukemia on June 20th 2014. my mom is a nurse and she had to stay home and take care of dad. He had plans to fix the floor but due to all of his illness. CHF, Diabetes. HTN. their finances were depleted he also had a major auto accident, causing exstensive surgery. my mom was by his side often neglecting her own health. she suffers from fibromyalgia as well as Diabetes and HTN. I would like to see my moms home fixed for her she has helped so many over the years. I would like to complete my PHD but am not sure if my mom will be ok.
I am writing this for a senior couple that had medical problems and don't have the ability to fix there home. The gone was built in 1921 out of logs it is now to the point we're it is invaded with termites and the basement is caving in. These people were like second parents to me the most kind heated people I know. I had to go over there and put up plastic around the back of the house we're you could see the insulation. I'm so afraid that the house is going to give out and cave in on them one of these days. I'm trying to find help were ever I can get it but not having much luck. I myself can only afford so much for them to at least be warm through this winter or I would replace their home myself in a heart beat. Days and nights like these make you wish that you could be the lucky one to win the lottery and be able to help those in need. I'm praying that someone will be able to help sooner than later. Me and my family are trying to move into my father-in-laws rent house,we started redoing the floor cause we found a little mold well a little turned into removing the whole floor then we had to do the walls well come to find out it's in the whole house we've gotten way over our budget that we can't finish this and now where having to move into a house that has a half of a floor no wall in the middle of the house the bathroom floor is half out kitchen cabinets are falling apart I have no one to turn to my parents has passed away and my siblings could careless. Karen is my mother who has the biggest heart. Growing up she let several kids move in that didn't have homes, her house was always an open door policy. She grew up in foster care so she never wanted to have anyone out on the streets. My mother recently was forced to go on full time disability and not work. SHe has worked all her life to support my sister, brother, and I. She has homecare nurses come to the house when we are not able to be here. She has copd, emyphsema, seizures, respitory failure,oxygen dependent. SHe is hospitalized at least 4 x in the past 6 months. My sister moved back home to live and help financially. We all help finanacially bu are drowning. My brother is an US Airman and will be deployed in May 2015.So it will be just my sister and I to care for my mother. She needs 24 hour care.
Her house is falling apart, I believe there is even mold or mildew in the walls. We could never afford to fix the house the right way so friends would do favors to fix it but nothing was truly fixed. The roof needs to be redone, when it rains that walls in my broters room and living run with water. The bathroom is a closet and falling apart. Windows are falling apart half of them don't have glass in them just screens. When it snows in the winder snow comes thru the windows and the house has radiators that are broken so the heat come out burning hot or not at all. We would love to have our mother living in a house that is safe and comfortable. The basement floods everytime in rains and that is where the washer and dryer are. We would love to have her in a safe home where she deserves to live. She is our heart. Help please
Hi my name is brad Talbott. My wife Crystal and I have 3 children 2 daughters; Madison 5 and Liliona 4, we also have a son Blake who was born on July 4th. My wife has had a severe stroke July 12th 8 Days after having our son. The doctors told us that there was not much hope that she would make it and that if she did she would never be the same. She was left with speech problems and lose of function on her right side. She has come home on Sep. 26th and needs 24 hour care. Our house is a fixer upper and it was built in 1911. The house is not in very good shape and I have had to take of work to take care of my family. So I do not have the time or money to fix the problems. We also quickly realized that the house is not wheel chair friendly. The main bedrooms are upstairs so we are using a small spare room on the main floor. The doorways a norrow and hard to maneuver through. The bathroom is too small so we have to use the bedroom. The only place we were able to put in a ramp was off the back and she has to go through the yard to get to the van. We would very much would appreciate and need the help with our house
Hi my name is Helen I'm 25 years old about to have my first baby I recently moved into my husband home and have been here for a year. My husband and his sister inherited the house from their grandparents. Since they are no longer here we have been trying to fix the home the thing is my sister in law works full time and has two daughters an 8 and a 2 yr old she has no money for day care so since I am pregnant I watch over them my husband has tried to fix the house little by little but hasn't been successful with it. The house has been run down has mold, walls are constantly falling, and to top it off a very very bad roach infestation. We have fogged got exterminator but nothing works im afraid for the kids health since they are so small they all have asthma and allergies. I have never been in a home like this it would be great help too have you help our little family. It would help my sister in law alot since she is currently the main bread winner in the house hold she has so much stress and to top it off I know there is something not right with her health but she will not stop working to check herself because she fears losing the home for her daughters. I am writing on behalf of Hospice of Montgomery. We are the only independent, non-profit Hospice in our area. For several years we have been planning and working to build a Hospice Home to serve those people who have no appropriate place to spend their last days with the kind of care and comfort we can provide. This past year we were generously given a wonderful facility where we can build this much needed resource for our community. The site is an abandoned country club which is in desperate need of renovation. The original building was designed by a famous architect but has deteriorated over the years. We hope to use the main club house for our new offices, administrative areas, meeting rooms, and community resources. Over time, we will raise the funds to complete the rest of the structure where we can house our patients. It is our fervent hope that your renovation experts would be willing to help us with the first phase of this project. We serve everyone in our community, regardless of their ability to pay. We know that this resource is desperately needed and our small city simply does not have the population or resources to cover all the expenses, in spite of a dedicated, hard-working board of directors and many committed community leaders. We have architectural plans already drawn up and would love to discuss whether your program could help us with this overwhelming but worthy project.
My family has been the most important thing in my life since before I could even remember and right now I feel as though our beautiful home has gone to bits and has greatly impacted our own family. The stress of all the tinkering that needs to be done, has gotten each of us stressed we just simply do not have the money to be able to have any repairs done to our home. Although, this home is solely my mothers its home to us all we've housed many people, who needed shelter, and even had events and parties growing up with the house wearing down not only has it really worn down itself literally I see it taking its toll on the people living in it. I just feel, that our home deserves to be as bright and open and strong as each member in this house and that with a little help it can give us all a jump start. I would love this to be a gift to my family and have nothing holding us back.
My aunt and her two children are without shelter right now due to some teenagers catching their house on fire while they were upstairs watching TV and right now she is struggling to provide for her kids , my grandmother is letting them stay temporarily until they can get on their feet my cousin is only 17 and she is taken on so much responsibility she works and goes to school. My aunt created a site for people to donate to help her regain some of what she lost so far it has been beneficial but in the long run I know god has a plan for her. Please help her and her family

Hello! I am writing this to nominate my landlord and his wife for this wonderful experience! They have just the most amazing story and are the most giving and generous people ever! Adu grew up as a farmer in Ethiopia and after an accident made an epic journey to the states. Here he met his wife who had a similar crazy story (everything from almost being decapitated to making her way to the states). He went on to go to college and get three masters and a doctorate degree. He and his wife now put all their money towards helping people in Ethiopia. They have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to go towards building up towns and schools in Ethiopia, support people from there moving to America to start a better life, and they have donated tens of thousands of dollars personally towards this. He currently has two homes on a small piece of property in a college town (where his sons goes to school) and he has split the two homes into multiple apartments and rents it out at low prices to college students (including my husband and I). He is an incredible landlord, wonderful person, and a generous person. Next month (November 20, 2014), he and his wife are going to Ethiopia for five weeks to work on the school and other projects they have going. His son and I thought that this would be such a wonderful way to thank him for the amazing things that he has done with his life, for the sacrifices, time, and money he has put into other people, and the support he has given hundreds of people as he has helped people create better lives for themselves and their families. Please consider him and his wife for this show. We have a HUGE volunteer workforce here in Angwin, CA that would quickly volunteer to help do this! He and his wife are very green and care about the environment. They do not waste anything (she waters the plants with dirty dish water and any water she boils potatoes and pasta in) and they have supported us (tenants) in any green venture we have done (rain barrels, green houses, and organic gardens). They are incredible people and it would be amazing to have them be on this show! Currently a writer is writing their biography because of how incredible their stories both are! Hello I'm not really sure how to say this without just being open and honest. I have a wonderful man in my life that I met sometime back. When I met him Chris Oakley is his name I knew that he had medical problems. But that never stopped me from going forward with him. Chris has stage 5 kidney failure outsude of having to do dialises 3 times a week he has 4 lovely children that he has full custody of. One is 15 14. 25 and one that us 11 that this wonderful man took in to raise because she didn't have a good home. Although he suffers he never lwta that stop him from giving all he has. Chris lives in a house that his father gave him that is not suitable for him and his kids let alone enough to accommodate UA when the time comes for us to marry. I have a son myself and I would accommodate them in a heart beat but I don't have room myself. The home he lives in is three bedros 1 bath no heat no air and the worst is he to sleep on the couch and in the codintiom he is in with his kidneys thia tears me up. There are construction problems as well but he can do this alone money on disability doesn't allow it. He dad told him he would help but Chris mom has

Hi my name is Jeanette and I live in georgia but was born and raised in crawfordsville Arkansas.My mom and dad worked hard all of our lives with me being the oldest of 5 children being raised in the country on a farm.my father was a farmer all of his life.we were raised with no inside bathroom or running water no central heat or air and no telephone.when my grandmother and grandfather on my moms side of the family passed away the home that they lived in at a nearby town was left to my mom so my parents moved there it had running water inside bathroom telephone but still no central heat and air.over the years the home has become of major repairs that we are unable to pay the cost for. My dad is a diabet patient on dialailys 3 times a week which earlier this year he had a stroke and has not been able to work.in just recent months he suffered a heart attack which required a opened heart surgery with a double bypass was in hospital for period of weeks .there home is in highly need of a major makeover of up to date living standards.the ceiling is coming down in some parts the floors needs repairs there is just so many things that need to be done to the home for them to live comfortable. Hello my name is Katherine I am 20 years old and my mother was in a horrible car accident may 5th 2014 and left her as a double leg amputee above the knees. she is currently having to stay at her parents house and it is tearing her emotions and her relationship apart. before her accident I was still staying at home with her and her boyfriend of 17 years. now I am having to stay with my boyfriend and she cant be at home and that is al she wants. we have been very grateful for everything we have received but our house just isn't coming along. we have a 4 bedroom 2 bath house and only 2 bedrooms and 1 bath is functioning, the roof has fallen in the 2 other bedrooms and the floor has fallen in the bathroom. I am writing on behalf of a friend and his family that has given to many people at the expense of their home life. My friend was given a piece of property from his grandfather and instead of letting it sit there he decided to make something of it in honor of his grandfather. He and his wife with two kids have lived in a RV for the past three years and instead of putting their little earnings into a home, they have put every penny and hard work into building a motocross track for the Texas motocross community so that there is somewhere for all of us enthusiasts to ride and race. They have recently purchased a used mobile home which is on their property and instead of putting money in to get there water and electricity hooked up they once again put their own lives aside and spent there earnings on holding another event. They barely break even when they host an event so until they can build this facility to the point of being a more desired place for families to spend there weekends they will continue to struggle. If you could consider helping this most deserving family, that help so many other families stay together by being together it would be appreciated not only by me, but many other families in the motocross community. They both work other jobs and helping them build their dream of making this facility something they can make a living on and have something more than a small RV to live in would be a huge asset to not only them but thousands of others lives that they effect. Your time and efforts to change lives are sincerely appreciated.

My name is dawn, back in 7/7/2014 my husband was taken to the doctors, to find out why his neck and head was swollen, only to come find out when they did a chest exray they found a mass between his lungs and the mass was pressing in his main artery. While putting a stint in his artery and taking a byopsy the pieced his lung the collapse his lung 20% coming to find out they thought he would not make it out of the hospital and his daughter was getting married on 7/19/2014. He did make it to his daughters wedding and took her daughter down the Ali on a scooter. Mark has stage 4 lung cancer. Mark is the type of person that would do anything for anyone in the community from working on mowers fixing cars and making visits to the elder. We live in a older home that has mold and work that needs to be worked on. I need a safe environment for my husband to live in for the remender of his life. Mark lives live for his girls and family friends and stranger on the street to help. We know what time he had left would like to make his life comfortable for the remaining of his life. He is our rock and world. If u can take this cancer away I would. I know you have a lot of request, I want to take some worry away from him. Thank you taking my request and may god bless you.

Hi my name is Dorothy and I love watching your show and seeing the joy you bring to people. It really brings me joy and inspires me to do something to make a difference in the future. I really need help with my house because my family all 10 of us does not feel comfortable in it anymore because of all the bad memories. First my mom gave birth to 9 KIDS. My dad works as a police officer. He started to beat her and she had to start walking around with bruises on her and he cheated on her with another women. He begged for forgiveness and she forgave him because she felt her 9 kids needed a dad to support them. Then my mom was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer a week before my birthday it's was a very aggressive type of cancer. While she had breast cancer my dad started to cheat on her with a different women again. My dad gave my mom a urinary tract infection while she was taking chemo therapy. She was nearly on her death bed and she almost passed away. My mom had a friend who also had the same exact type of stage and cancer. She became cancer free as well as my mom. and my mom and her were very close buddies. Then my moms friends cancer came back and she passed away. That made my mom very depressed and stressed that the cancer will come back and that her 9 kids won't have anyone to take care of them. He continued with the beating and cheating before. Then my dad left us. My mom became cancer free but she has to raise 9 kids by herself and is currently putting 4 kids threw college and struggles with loans and bills. She's looking to rebuild our house or find a new one so we can forget all the wholes and broken doors my dad caused when he used to beat my mom. Were a very religious family and my mom is a very strong women she tells us to keep praying and never turn to evil. My family prays everyday and we stay strong together we won't let anything break us. I love my mom she's a very great role model I really look up to her. If you could give us this chance and make my mom smile again and my family I would really greatly appreciate it! It will also be a very great birthday present because today is my birthday!
Mom and Dad bought this house while back, and dad built on. He left us and the house is falling apart, and he isn't a carpenter. There isn't 1 thing wrong with this house, its everything. Mom has had 3 strokes, and has epilepsy she can't use her right leg so she can't get in and out easy the only time she does is for drs appointments. We have black mold, the chimney is falling in, during the winter its very cold in here, we have blankets up over the windows. Plastic over some doors, mom can't use her bedroom in winter because dad didn't put in heat ducts so last year she used a electric heater and fell on it because she is unsteady and she got 2nd degree burns. You can see the ground in some corners. Spiders and mice have taken over no amount of killing gets rid of them. Mom isn't even 45 and the one place she can't get away from is gonna kill her. If you can help, please help her.
My name is Shannon Hitchcock & I'm writing you because I'm not sure where else to turn for help. I've been a single mother of four kids, ages 11,13,14 & 16 for eleven years. Nine years ago I bought my house with the intentions of supporting my mom who is a severe asthmatic & also suffers from COPD. I ended up out of work due to a back problem & back surgery that didn't go as well as planned. Gradually things started going downhill for our family & this house. My oldest son suffered a severe concussion playing football in school which he suffered short term memory loss from, a couple years later he was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease which left him so sick & in so much pain that for a year he was unable to attend school & has lost most the feeling on the entire right side of his body. Luckily, thank god & his will to fight as long & hard as he has he is starting to do better, he's back in school & is very smart (he's 16 & is taking some early college credit courses). Unfortunatly, due to his health, Drs bills & the traveling I have to do for him to see the appropriate Drs, money is limited & bills are stacking while the house is falling apart. From electrical problems to major leaks which has caused mold growth in our basement which is a disaster for my mom with her asthma & COPD. I don't really like asking for anything but at this point I feel it's needed for not just me, but for my mom who's been the one helping me as much as possible & for my children, for everyone's health & safety… Thank you for your consideration… Also, I apologize if this posts more than once, it kept saying post failed :p
Hi!, I'm not writing for myself I'm writing for your dear sweet 82 year old friend of mine and her little dog Abby who lost everything in a house fire last December she even lost her little dog Charlie who she burnt her hands trying to save him and still cries when she talk s about him yelping and her not being able to get to him. No family close by. 2 son living in Maryland one of them did drive home to get her last winter. Her being from a small town in Laporte Minnesota hated to leave and she stayed till April then wanted to come home so bad every time I called and talked to her she would cry because she wanted to come home, hated it there. Said her sons acted older the her. Lol All she could afford was a small camper/trailer that she has pulled up to the parcelly burnt deck that was left. It does have heat and she bought some bales of straw that we packed around the camper to help keep it warm. We live in Minnesota and the winters can be very very cold I know she's one tough cookie and she'll make it but I worry about her she's welcome here to stay with me and my family anytime she likes but she is too proud and she is not use to people helping her. She has no running water. She does have a pump house with a old hand pump and we help haul water. Going to be tough in the winter. She has to use a out house because the toilet in the camper doesn't work right. She has land to work with. She is also a diabetic and has lost a few toes. You'll love her once you meet her. My name is Sierra. I'm 16 and looking for some help. My mom and I have been struggling to live since I was born. My mom recently got married to a man with two other girls who's mom is very demanding of money, where there is none to give. My mom and Step Dad both work for a Taxi company part-time. Money is something no one has in this economy, and with so with two adults and three minors in about a 1200 sq ft house is very hard to handle let alone that the house its self is rotting and falling from right underneath us. Mold and fungi are growing underneath the house due to our old pipe rotting away leaking onto our craw-space underneath the house. Also our bathroom is almost falling out of the house because of the moister and lack of ventilation through out the house. We're literally standing on our last hope with this house. Also for the last year my 21 year old brother has moved in and is paying rent who frequently has his girl-friend over. Every weekend there at lest 8 people in this small house causing stress and problems. All I'm asking is for some help to make home feel a little bit more like home, where family dinners every Sunday feel a little less cramped and more safe and welcoming. Where my mom and her husband don't have to worry about finding a new house on top of feeding everyone and paying the bills because the house is unlivable, because part-time jobs were we only get money if the taxi company get calls isn't going to buy us a new house. so I'm reaching out to you for some help. Hi, my name is Charis and I'm 13 years old and I've read most of these comments and see most of these people definitely deserve a nice place to live. I may not have a sickness, nor does anyone in my family, but my parents are divorced and my sister has been going through depression for over 4 years now and has almost died by falling through a sky light and has attempted suiside multiple times. Also, slowly my fathers home has been getting worse and I know he doesn't have enough money to fix everything that's happening, such as broken toilets and a broken clothes washing machine. We also are in desperate need of new carpeting because it's just horribly stained in all of our bedrooms and living room and we also have stained tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. The house isn't very clean altogether and it's very small. My dad rely doesn't know I'm commenting on this, but I just hate watching him struggle with money issues and having to deal with my sister and her depression. I'm just looking for some help, but I understand if this won't happen because I am only a teenager and no one in my family is exactly on the brink of death. We had to relocate our family for 4, 6 hrs away from our hometown… we had to do this so my husband can find a good paying job and support myself and my 2 daughters while he is away working 5 days a week out of town. We bought this home thinking it was our dream home .. only it's been nothing but a total nightmare after a month of living in it… I have tried everything from lawyers to contractors to an engineer plan that is just putting us more and more in debt. We have struggled as a married couple since 2006. My husband was diagnosed with ulcerrative colitis and has had 6 surgery's in 3 years of less … I almost lost him after only being married 1 year. I has nothing but stressed since we have gotten married … but everything is so good between the two of us and everything we have went through has only made us stronger … but emotionally we are so drained of everything going wrong for us .. somethings gotta give. Only for us things seem to get worse. Not our relationship but we are just going into more and more debt over this dream home we thought we were getting. And loosing all faith .. all we have left is ourselves and I's so worried that one day we won't have the energy for that too.
I 've been trying to find anyway to help get any support or coverage and nothing. And were I live everyone knows everyone and all contractors know the previous owner and we feel like we are the laughing stock of this town .
We are having issues with the house lifting from the foundation and letting cold air and snow in the winter and rain in the summer months. Rain coming in a bedroom on the main floor and letting water come in the window frame, and many more projects and problems that is making us house poor and unable to make this a safe home for our two daughters. Please Help….
I know this is a long shot and there's a high possibility that any of you will ever see my comment, BUT hello my name is Marantha. I am 20 years old and live with my mother and boyfriend of 2 1/2 years. I have many medical conditions and have to take a lot of medications to live everyday. I had a liver transplant in 1995. When I was 4 I was diagnosed with lymphoma, but took chemo and have been in remission for 15 years. I've had many biopsies done to make sure my liver won't fail on me, I have Chron's disease, inflammatory bowel disease, stage 1 kidney disease, acid reflux disease, anxiety, depression, low blood potassium, under active hydroids, pituary dwarfism, and I get dehydrated where I have to be hospitalized in order to get fluids to feel better.
I currently had a job at a grocery store in town but got "took of of the employee list because of my medical conditions getting in the way with me working." (Sounds like discrimination I know) right now I am unemployed.mi have been denied for social security, and food stamps, therefore I don't have any money coming in to help me out besides the money my mom and my bf makes. I have 4 cats that I've saved (3 inside and 1 outside) and 1 dog.
My boyfriend is one of my caretakers from the home health programs I get my insurance from. My mom is having to work 3 jobs almost everyday a week and STILL struggles to pay our bills.
My mom, Trisha Johns, was conned by her ex husband in the past and he ended up charging a lot of stuff to my moms card and then left us, leaving her to pay it back all on her own. (Thousands of dollars I feel terrible for my mother) my mom is a VERY hard worker and does anything and everything she can for me. I love her to death. Trisha is 45.
My boyfriend, Chris, had ADHD and learning disabilities. He currently has insurance for less than a year that only pays for his ADHD medications.( no doctor visits and exams) Chris is 19.
We all have been struggling for a very, very long time. It's hard. I am asking from the bottom of my heart to please take some of your time and just read this and possibly consider us. I am 14 and applying for it for my gaurdians which would be my aunt and my grandmother and my 10 month old cousin isbaby cousin they took me in when my father made some bad decisions and got put in jail i was supposed to go back to live with him around christmas but i didnt want to go back and they agreed to take me in so i could make a better life for myself. So i want to do something nice for them since they are the reason i am still here today. My aunt just had surgery and hes 25 and has been there for me since i was born she is more of a mother to me and my grandmother is 61 and we have five dogs and a hamster we live in a three bedroom house and i share a room with my aunt and my grandmothers room.is pretty much a closet and then theres the babys room. I just want to give my family a place they can call jome wothout all the bad memories in this one and make them realize there is still hope for the future. We have almost lost my aunt several times over the last two years anx my grandmother is a surviver of breast cancer and they have pretty much been the only family ive had that has never walked out and they need to know that i.am thankful for everything theyve.done for me and they dont know im doing this i want to surprise them and show yh that i am a better person than because of them and that they can be proud of me and that they still have a reason to try. We are on a fixed income and dont have a car to go any where amd if we do go places we walk there and its just been really hard for us to get by the last couple months so please abccome help.make there.lives better and help us get to where we have a place to call home

We have are hard times but she shown me that we must alway keep movie and looking forward in life. That is hard to do because I feel like are home is a hole that keep us in the darkness. It hard because she try be this person that open heart to everyone but they don't share the same kindness for her. We really need this sow that we can see that their other people that care to and that will help us. My step father was the person that hurt use the most by hurting her only daughter it also hurt my two younger bother that live with us. I know that person took most important thing feeling safe in are own home. They say that a home can make feel better in even in your health that why we need this my mother work sow hard and her health such bad shape. I am trying to get my mother selected for a extreme make over my dad recently passed n he started some home improvement so witch are still not improved my mom works n took on the responsibility of taking care of my children wen they were younger and still does we have a lot of issues that my mother can not afford to fix since my dad passed ceilings falling mold it's like the house is falling apart my mom has lived in this house for 30 yes and this is were my dad passed my mom is 58 and a hard working loving mom and grandma and I really think she deserves the make over thank you
I am a mother of a daughter who has a brain tumor. She had served in the Navy for 4 years. She is not married no does she have children. When she was discharged from the service ,she rented a little basement apartment so she could pay cash for her new vehicle and save money to buy a home.That was 8 years ago. She saved enough money and bought her first starter home and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She under went a crainiotomy,radiation and chemotherapy.She returned to work and refinanced her home for a lower rate. The tumor had spred. I took her to phila. for a 10 day treatment. She was in the middle of remodeling,to sell and buy her forever home. Her home is 3 floors, she is now left with paralysis of her right side and has to start back on IV chemo. She never did get the bathroom put in on her main floor. She is unable to walk with out assistance. I bought her a scooter,i got her a commode for the living room and she needs assistance to get washed at the kitchen sink. She sleeps in a chair.My daughter just turned 40. She has 2 Labradors that are her world. I can not afford to put this bath room and ramps in for her that so desperately need for her dignity and independence. Anything you could do to help us would be greatly appreciated.

We are 6 people living in a house with two and a half bedrooms, one bathroom and a super small kitchen. This is not our house, we do not own this place. We don't have the money to buy a house or to rent a bigger house. My mom has rheumatoid arthritis and a bad hip and she works her ass off so we can have nice days, and my dad works in a job where his boss pays when he feels like it, so is kinda hard to get to the end of the month.
I have a one month baby and i'd really love for him to have a bigger place where he can grow up and have fun, we really need more space.
We've always lived like this, but we still have fun and we always figure a way out to not be sad about it.
I have two sisters, one of them is studying at the university so she can be an awesome music teacher, and my other sister works to help the family. I'm 20 years old and I should be studying too, but we don't have the money and i have a baby to take care of.
My mom shouldn't be working, or even walking (her doctor says) but she still does it, and my dad wishes that we can have a better life.

I am writing you today with a heavy burden. My son has just been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. My poor little house is just falling apart, and though I work, my husband is also disabled. I want to provide the best possible living situation for my family, but on a single income, I cannot begin to repair my home and make it more efficient for my 6year old son's condition. My name is Sherry and the request that I'm making is on behalf of my deserving parents. They've always been humble and giving to others even when we didn't have it to give. Their house has always been a place of restoration for others when they did not have anywhere to go. Both of my parents have worked diligently throughout my lifetime and have since retired. My father is the founder and pastor of a small community church which he revitialized with his own hands with the help of others. My father recently had 3strokes and is facing several other health issues. My mother also has health issues and is now at risk of losing her eye sight. My father has always been the handy man around the house and my mom has always been the one to keep it tidy. My father started the community church in the basement of the house which later moved to another building. Due to my dad's illness and right side being affected by the stroke his mobility is limited. Because of this the house's age is beginning to show. The basement has flooded numerous times, mold is probably throughout the house, electrical problems, the pipes back up, the toliets overflow, there is limited space to move around and I'm sure there's more. Now my mom is responsible for paying the household bills but due to her illness she faces alot of challenges with her eye sight and having to read the small print. Her doctors are strongly suggesting that she have eye surgery but due to their fixed income she has to wait until they can afford it. With all of the household bills, medical bills, funding for the church, home repair bills etc. money has become limited. Now remember I said my father is the founder and pastor of a small community church which began in his basement and later moved to another building. My father and mother has spent several days and nights knocking down walls, painting, building the pulpit with bare hands alone, doing electrical work, cleaning grafetti and replacing broken windows all for Christ and the community. Since my father has always been the person to keep the church operating and functioning things are falling apart since his stroke. The church floods in the basement, mold is growing in the basement of the church, and it also has plumbing issues. Recently my mother and the women of the church had the basement floors redone and 2 months later the entire basement flooded. Extreme Home Makeover my parents need your help our community church needs your help. My father has worked tiredlessly day in and day out to build his home and his church. It hurts him to see his vision vanish before his eyes. I'm asking that you consider my parents and my church for an EXTREME OVERHAUL MAKEOVER. Im reaching out to home extreme makeover in hopes of helping my mom get an actual house with acceptable living conditions. Im only 16 years old but my mom has taken care of me and my brother our whole life with no help. Right now i would say our house isnt in good condition. My brother (age 13) has extremely bad asthma and has to take breathing treatments daily. With that being said, our house is filled with mold which is making my brothers asthma worse day by day. We dont have the money to get rid of it and its getting out of control. I love my brother and i hate seeing him in pain everyday from his breathing situation, knowing that if someone could just help us, it could all be solved. I am writing because we need help. My house is 200 years old. I bought it 14 years ago when I was a single mom. My son has to have open heart surgery next mont. My husband also has a bad heart my 15 year old is well and I lost my beautiful 18 year old daughter August 10, 2014 in a horrible car accident. She always had such big ideas to do to this house. This home is so empty without her here, she was my best fiend. I have always worked 2 jobs, but with many health issues myself, we never had much extra money. I had a hysterectomy for cancer,collapsed lung, osteoarthritis and 4 herniated disks, and now PTSD's from the tragedy surrounding my daughters accident. I am currently looking for assistance with funding to renovate the inside of my home.
The property I live in was left to me when my great grandmother passed away. I was fortunate enough to be the primary beneficiary of a duplex.
However, my Uncle, was assigned beneficiary of the estate. Once my grandmother was buried, my uncle decided to rent out the property to Gabriela and Brandon . The tenants moved into the property on 8/1/2014. Three days into moving, there was a tragic fire that left the residence inhabitable. The portion of the duplex was determined to be a total loss by Ottawa fire department. At that time, Randall filed an insurance claim with The Hartford insurance company and received compensation for the damages to the property. Randall then decided that he no longer wanted the responsibility of renovating the property and signed his rights over to me as sole owner.
I am now interested in renovating the duplex into 1 full house for myself, my husband, and our two beautiful children.
In the process of planning the renovations, my family was disappointed to learn that my husband was terminated of his employment, which was our primary income. My family is now functioning on one income. I have been working with several banks in the area to obtain a loan for the funding of renovations however, I am disappointed to learn that I did not qualify.
I have nearly allowed the trials and tribulations that my family has faced over the past few months discourage my efforts, until I was advised of the opportunities that your company offers.
