All these contests seem to focus on young, undiscovered talent. Sadly, there are lots of seasoned, esperienced older singers still working for a break. Yes, I am one of those. At 62, I have been working all my life for the elusive break. Maybe this time, your show will be the one to give me that break. Once you see I don't look anywhere close to my age and have an exceptional voice, maybe, just maybe I might be lucky enough to see John Rich or Gloria Estafan at my door. This may not be a show for me. I am 10 years old but I can sing. I was with the Atlanta Young Singers for the 2011-2012 season and I will be with Spivey Hall Children's choir 2012-2013 season. I would just like the experience. I'm too young for any kind of big stardom, but it would be a great and humbling experience. Thanks
I want to be considered for this show because I have been doing this for 15 years and just haven't made it. My sister and I won the First Radio Disney's Next Big Thing in 2009 and we were so excited and thought it would lead to something but they didn't even recognize us and went with a boy band. We wrote a song about The Jonas Brother's (Missing Me Crazy) and it was played on Radio Disney once and then they refused to play it even after their audience would request it. We had the XFactor call us for two months begging us to audition and then they don't choose it. We had a record label say they were going to sign us and then left us hanging. I am talented and so is my sister. I know we have what it takes but just need a real break. We are musicians and singers and are the real thing. Plus years ago, Joe Jonas's dad always said that maybe we could open for them and we still believe this!! I just can't give up, I've given the last 15 years of my life to this.
