Hot on the heels of last summer’s $750 million dollar grossing and franchise resuscitating The Amazing Spider-Man starring gifted Hollywood power couple Emma Stone (The Help, Crazy, Stupid, Love., Easy A) and Andrew Garfield (The Social Network, Red Riding: In the Year of Our Lord 1974, Never Let Me Go) comes the series next exciting installment and what is possibly the casting opportunity of the year. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will once again be directed by the fabulously talented Marc Webb ((500) Days of Summer starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel) and will continue the incredible adventures of high schooler Peter Parker and his battles against evil forces as super-powered alter-ego Spider-Man. Ms. Stone will reprise her role as Parker’s beautiful love interest Gwen Stacy and this time around she will be joined by the fantastic additions of Academy Award Winner Jamie Foxx (Ray, Django Unchained, Horrible Bosses), talented upstart Dane DeHaan (Lincoln, Lawless, Chronicle) and Academy Award nominee Paul Giamatti (Cinderella Man, The Hangover Part II, John Adams).
