The Walt Disney Company is dipping into it’s own rich history for their next fascinating feature film and they have recruited one of the biggest movie stars of all time to star. Two time Academy Award Winner Tom Hanks has signed on to feature in the biopic Saving Mr. Banks and casting calls for this fantastic new production are being planned now. Travers to let his company adapt her classic novel into a motion picture. Ms. Travers was very emotionally connected to this her most successful work and after finally agreeing to Disney’s requests, ended up despising the final film and what had been done to her precious characters including the titular character Mr. Banks. Saving Mr. Banks is a story full of hard work and hard feelings and is sure to be on every major film award watchlist in the new year.
