Hank Azaria is taking his Funny or Die character to the small screen. The television show , Brockmire, is based on the long-nurtered character by the actor that was previously featured in a Funny or Die short back in 2010 and will be airing on IFC. According to Variety, Azaria plays a veteran baseball announcer who returns to the booth for a minor league team 10 years after he suffered an on-air meltdown.

The series that is shooting in Atlanta, Georgia is hoping to debut early next year. Casting directors are looking for core extras as well as extras that will be filming for a few days next week. The shoot dates are set for Monday, June 13th through Thursday, June 16th. The casting team is looking for Caucasian males to work as bar patrons. For the 4-Day core group, they need men who are 28-55 years old. They are open to character faces, men with beards and hard working blue color types. These are small scenes so extras in this group must work all four days. The pay rate is $64.00 for 8 hours. They are also looking for one or two African American males and one or two Caucasian females to work as Bar Patrons. They are looking for men and women who are ages 28 to 55 years old. Character faces welcome, beards, hard working, blue collar types. You should have a natural look and not require make up.
