“The Deuce” Starring James Franco Boy for Ongoing Role

The Deuce Starring James Franco Boy for Ongoing RoleHBO has a new series that is now filming called The Deuce. The show stars Spider-Man actor James Franco. According to Deadline, The Deuce follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world that existed there until the rise of HIV, the violence of the cocaine epidemic and the renewed real estate market all ended the bawdy turbulence.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for a boy for an ongoing featured role! The boy will play the son of one of the principal characters in the series. They need a Caucasian boy with brunette hair who is between 9 and 12 years old to play the 1971’s looking boy. The first shoot day is tentatively set to start on Wednesday, June 8th. The series will be shooting in Brooklyn, New York.

There will be future TBD dates through October, as this will be ongoing featured work. All minors must have valid NY work permit (or is willing to get one) and trust account set up. Boys who would like to be considered must not have any very modern haircuts, unnatural hair colors, buzz cuts or shaved sides. This show is set in the 1970’s so boys must be able to pull the off the look of the period. Everyone must have two valid forms of unrestricted US issued ID to fill out an I-9. If you have a VISA of any kind, please include that in the email.

If your child is available, all you have to do to submit them is email thedeuce@gwcnyc.com with your child’s name, age and date of birth. Include their union status (if they are SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union), their work permit expiration date, if they are available for June 8th, if they have open availability through October, all of their sizes including their height, weight, shirt, pants and shoe, any recent selfies/candid photos that show your son’s current look (please include THREE photos, at least one full body shot), a short video to submit to production (an acting reel or short video that shows your child’s personality is great!) and parent name and contact information. Please write in the subject line: “Facebook, Featured Son, [child’s name & age].”
