The upcoming Netflix series that is being produced by Academy Award winning actress Charlize Theron and director David Fincher “Mindhunter”, is looking for men and women to be extras. They need background actors that are available to film on Thursday, June 9th.

Casting directors are seeking both men and women to be extras for an upcoming movie theater scene. The shoot will run for 12-14 hours for the day. All selected extras must have a car to get to set. The pay is $7.25 per hour for the first 8 hours and time and a half after that. The series is filming in the Oakmont, PA area. Men must be willing to shave facial hair if it isn’t period correct and everyone has to be available before the shoot date to get a wardrobe fitting.

They are looking for men and women who are 20 -30 years old to play movie goers. They are looking for art house and student types. If you submit for this role, put moviegoer in the subject line of the email. The show is also looking for men and women who are ages 40 through their 60’s to play Professors. If you submit for this role, you should put Professor in the subject line of the email. They are looking for new faces so if you have already worked the show or are booked for an upcoming scene, they ask you do not submit. They are only accepting actors who are local to Oakmont, Pennsylvania.
