There is an incredible new opportunity to audition for a new HBO series. The show stars Oscar winning actresses Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman. The show is being described as a dark comedic drama. Big Little Lies is set to be a seven-episode series that will center on three mothers of first graders in the city of Monterey whose seemingly perfect lives unravel to the point of murder. The show also stars Divergent star Shailene Woodley, Adam Scott, Alexander Skarsgard and Laura Dern.

Rich King Casting is holding an open call audition for extras to appear on the new show. The casting director will be holding auditions on May 1st at the Embassy Suites Hotel Monterey Bay. They are looking for men and women who are over the age of eighteen years old of all ethnicities. The extra pay rate on the shoot is 80.00 for eight hours with overtime starting after that. Extras should plan on making themselves available for the entire day or night for shoot days. Meals will also be provided on set.

To audition for the show, you may attend the casting call on May 1st at 1441 Canyon Del Rey Blvd. and meet in the Laguna Grande D ballroom between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The casting team requests no phone calls are made to the hotel. You should bring a current 3×5 photo of yourself and a pen. It’s not too often actors get the chance to be on the set with such an all-star cast so if you would like to audition for a spot on the show, go for it!
