The world’s premiere family channel is ready to present another fantastic and fantastically imaginative half hour sitcom, and this one just may be their best yet. The Disney Channel’s Growing Up And Down is gearing up to begin production very soon and auditions for several roles for up and coming actors of all ages are being held now.
Growing Up And Down will follow a teenage brother and sister who are having trouble dealing with their parents divorce and will try anything to get them back together. When the desperate duo stumble upon what they believe to be a genie’s bottle they figure that wishing them back together is worth a shot and lo and behold their wish comes true! The kids parents are back together, just not quite the way that they planned. Their parents have been turned into 14 year olds! Now the kids have to figure out a way to get their folks through the days at school while also figuring out how to get everything back to normal.
Growing Up And Down is the latest from the wildly successful hit factory It”s A Laugh productions who are responsible for hours upon hours of some of the finest Disney programming ever including the worldwide sensations The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place and recent favorites I Didn’t Do It, Kickin’ It and Jessie. If there is one audition to score this year – it’s for a outstanding production company like It’s A Laugh and on a fabulous comedy project like this.

Ive been in school plays before, not too much acting experience aside from that. However, I know if I was given lines to memorize I would be able to do so, and definitely be able to make myself fit and transform into the position/part I would be entitled to. Im very good at acting out emotions, and really feel what the character is feeling. I would be able to act as if I really was the character I was playing in the show. I have never had an oppurtunity like this, and I really hope I can get a chance to play in this upcoming show! Im easy to get along with, and really looking forward to audition for the show if given a chance to! Growing Up and Down sounds like it will definitely be a popular show for all ages. Especially since a lot of viewers had to deal with their parents getting divorced, and seeing how the kids handle it on the show would make it interesting to viewers whether they have a relation to the show or not! My parents had gotten divorced when I was in 4th grade, and now they are both re-married. I remember wanting to do anything to get them back together. I really wanted to be on liv and Maddie they said they were holding auditions later that year but when I went on summer break I see this commercial saying liv and Maddie. I was heart broken I really thought that was the perfect role for me so I just broke down in tears. My mom noticed that I was depressed when I was just trying to focus on my career and not boys. I don't want to do anything else but act. It's something people can actually be proud of me for. Well thank you for your time I better go before my battery dies.

I have watched Disney channel since I was five. The first show I watched was Hannah Montana. I've always wanted to be an actress. I'm 13 years old but turning 14 in August. I think most stars start out on Disney channel like Janelly Parrish, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and many others.
