Hi,My name is Tyana Bledsoe I am 14 years old. My birthday is coming up in September. I live in Memphis, TN with half of my relatives that I know.when I was 1 when my grandad died And broke my entire family to pecies especially my mom and aunt, that was their biological father. It hurts cause I just thought he was sleeping in tiny bed in church. When I got old enough to understand death my family told me the story of how my grandad was killed by his doctor. A few years later in 2010 when was about to start the second grade my mom Got sick on a Sunday she kept throwing up kept falling out at home but still wanted to Go to church a day later my mom was diagnosed with a hidden diabetes she had to immediately go to surgery to get her Gaul Blatter removed it had erupted, during surgery they lost my mom, but a few minutes she came back because I prayed my grandma prayed my whole family who was in the waiting room prayed. After surgery my mom was so happy to see her family. After that tragity our house was Flooed with water and our tub cracked we couldn't take baths anymore.my brothers old room flooded alot the hall and then ants and rodents start coming into our house. A week later after my mom got out the hospital my parents had to pay a big hospital fund for my mom. Years later like in 2013 our lights was off for a little while but my parents got money to pay it off And In 2014 we couldn't take showers for months because it was a hole were a lot of ants crawled thrue. Now in 2016 my mom dad and I nearly got evicted out of our home but we raised the money to give to the bank but now in the month of July my grandma died and my mom is in the hospital and all I can do is have faith and loyalty that you guys can come to memphis and save us please we're struggling but still keeping the faith.bye and thank you for your time God bless you.
I was told that my name was nominated on this application. Whoever you are, thank you. Just so things are verified here is my story. I am a disabled veteran. I have tried to go back to work, but have been turned down due to me being an insurance risk. I am a mother of five beautiful girls. My husband is disabled, and will have to do surgery for his back. My oldest is 18 and going to college in August. My 2nd daughter is 14. She did break her leg a few months ago. She did have seizures, but she outgrew them. My step daughter is 12. She lives with her mother. My 3rd daughter is 9 and she does have a lot of medical issues. She started out with add. Then she started having seizures. Just when we thought we had a handle on them with meds, they changed. After getting her new Dr., we find out there's more. She has hypothyroidism, and some of her genetic markers came back abnormal. So that's another Dr she will have to see. She also has to be tested for autism, and other things as well. She sees a counselor who thinks there maybe more she has to be tested on. My youngest daughter is 5 and going to kindergarten this year. The past 6 yrs my husband and I have struggled, buy somehow managed. We have moved several times in the past 9 yrs. From roach infested, rather infested, bad neighborhood. You name it. The house we are in started out fine. No central heat and air. Just window units for ac, and floor heaters in the winter. Neighborhood is getting bad, roaches are getting bad no matter what we do. We are all getting sick and I can't afford to move. We have been doing what we can. Even pest control. We are on our 4th vehicle in the past 6 yrs. I only get paid once a month from the V.A. I am doing good the best I can. The only thing I would want other than my kids having the best life they can, is to have a place they can call home. A place that they dont have to worry about shootings at night, or people stealing from us. A safe place where they can run and be happy. Any help we can get is greatly appreciated more than you will ever know. If we are picked, I want to say thank you and God bless.
My name is Amanda and I am requesting a home make over for my sister Staci Perkins and her family. My sister has a big heart and her and her husband recently adopted a baby boy. Throughout the years they have struggled to stay afloat but even though they would be struggling they would open their home up to anyone in need. Earlier this year my sister purchased a very modest double wide 2 bedroom trailer with the hopes to add on and expand it for their family of 7. As they continue to struggle with not only other issues with their house they also struggle to keep their vehicle operating safely the addition has been put on the back burner. They really need more space for their family and also make it livable (holes patched, checked for mold, siding fixed, etc.). My sister has a big heart and deserves something good to happen to her and her family.
I hate to ask for help, however, am at my wits end. I am diabetic with neuropathy, my husband has emphysema/copd and our home is in serious need of help. Both bathrooms need some attention, heat/air unit has gone out, gutters are falling down and need a wheel chair ramp. Please help us. I also take care of my 83 year old mom that lives next door. I have been trying to get help for over 3 years with no luck. Thank you and God bless you and your crew.
This is John again I forgot to mention I live in Arizona Bisbee AZ
Pls if anyone can get me in contact with Ty Pennington or Extreme Makeover and/or ABC it would be greatly Appreciated
Thanks Sincerely and God Bless
I am asking for help for a friend of mine. She has had a hard life. Especially the past 5 yrs. Her name is Patricia Leblanc. Not related. She is a disabled veteran. A mother of 5 girls. Her husband is also disabled. Her oldest is going to college soon. Her next to oldest broke her leg at the end of the last school year. Her 3rd daughter has a lot of medical issues. She has seizures, thyroid problems, possibly autistic and a genetics disorder. Her husband has to do surgery on his back soon. While there house they are renting get has no leaks, there is no access or heating. It is all floor heaters, and window units. No matter how much they clean, they are infest with roaches. It's affecting their health and they are struggling to keep up on the bills. Pleass, help them if you can.
I am writing in hopes to help my nephew, Thylor, who is in great need. His mother, my sister, had been living in a home in extremely poor condition. After beating cancer and going on 4 mission trips, her mental health issues (bipolar disorder) and heart problems finally took their toll on her body and she died at the young age of 44. As I mentioned, this is really about my nephew though.
On June 30th, his 22nd birthday, his mother did not arrive to their shared workplace. He went to her home at lunch to find her deceased (the coroner said it was likely quick & that she did not suffer). What was worse was that she had been there for two days and had to be cremated. This is because she had been lying in a home without air conditioning and surrounded by excrement and remnants of her previously cherished (but hoarded) belongings.
After the family came together to start to clean the home for Thylor, it was clear that it was in need of MAJOR repairs & would need to be gutted due to the state of the walls, ceiling, roof, & electrical work. Right now this home is a reflection her harder times and we don’t want this to be his memory of his mother, who was making positive changes in her life months leading up to her death.
My nephew should not have to deal with the pain of losing his mother and the stress of this home all alone. While he has the love and support of our family, we are not in a position to help financially. Anything you can do or consider doing is greatly appreciated.
Hey Well for starters… I live with my grandmother, she lives in a double wide trailer… It's not very nice on the outside… We have a sink in over the couch where it was leaking water… It looks horrible up there… And the bedrooms are small… I really don't have a bedroom to myself my grandma and I sleep in the same room… And I'm 16 and I really don't feel like I'm able to have my own privacy…. It's like our house is very crammed.. We also have two other people living with us… My Couin who is 21 and my great grandma but my cousin is moving out soon… And his room is just to small… We need a bigger house so everyone can feel at home and comfortable… I really don't feel comfortable in this trailer… Our front and back porch are horrible looking and the steps are all wobbly and ragedy… I had knee surgery some months ago and can't afford to fall neither can my grandma or my great grandma they are both disable from work…Thanks For The Oppurtunity. ~Kira
Hello I hope this finds you all well. I am a disabled grandmother raising grandkids. The little house we live in has started having stucktual problems besides having lead paint all throughout. We are in desperate need of a safe home environment for my grandkids. I've had to do without a lot so that they have the things they need but I'm ok with that. Their needs are more important to me. Asking for help is really hard & when I do I feel guilty. At this point I'm desperate & have no choice but to ask for help. Even mowing the yard has became a struggle. There's no way I can fix the floors by myself. Althou at some point I am going to try & Do it myself before the heater & hot water tank fall Throu the floor. My grand daughter keeps asking if we can move to the country & get a horse. It's really hard to tell her anything because I won't make empty promises to her. Praying we hear from you
My name is Kelli Clodfelter and I am hoping you would consider a home makeover for our family. Our family has been through so much in the last two years and could really use a change. Something that speaks for the new journey we are on. In 2014 only 5 weeks apart we lost two of our children. First on October 7, 2014 we lost our precious Gracie Meshelle at 3 months 17 days old. She went down for a nap at daycare and didn't wake up later to find out she passed of SIDS. 5 short weeks later our beautiful 17 year old son Jordan Cole who was struggling with depression picked up heroin for the first time and overdosed and two days later was pronounced brain dead. Through our tragedy we have opened a youth center called Jordan's Place. Which is a not for profit teen center that we run through donation only and manage our bills month to month. My husband and I also have a 6 year old daughter Bailey and a 9 month old daughter Jaycee as well as our oldest son Thomas who is 22. Though we love our house it is hard to be here everything is what it was and I could never bring myself to leave here as this was our home and our children are buried right down the road. But I would love for it to be different, a new for us as well as our children. I don't know how to change things because when I try it hurts too much. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to receive your help and to allow our family to have a new beginning while still holding on to our beautiful memories.
Hi there. I have a coworker who makes ends meet for every paycheck. She barley makes it. Her husbands job does not always have work for him so she provides most income but we work at a daycare at that does not pay much! She also have health issues and can't pay for them! She could not pay for her electricity and the power got cut off. They said unless she has $5,000 she can't turn it back on. It's the middle of July and it's hot and she lives in a trailer. This is not good. She works very hard and want to help her and her husband and her animals. This would make her so happy and all of us here at work would spread love to help!

July 6th 2015 Khalie Smith gave birth to conjoined twins Hartlyn and Everlee. It was a scary and difficult time building up to their birth. The girls not only did better than expected they are now happy, healthy, smart, and goofy little girls. The survival rate for conjoined twins is between 5-25%, we are forever grateful and blessed by our miracle twins. Khalie stays home with the twins all day while David (Khalie's fiancée and father of the twins) goes to work, alternating between the day and night shift. Khalie and David Perez, have been raising the twins out of their cramped condo in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Having outgrown their condo (that is currently up for sale), they've been looking for a house. Living off of one income and restricted to a specific area (they must be close to Khalie's parents and a hospital), house hunting has been a slow process. They could afford a fixer-upper but couldn't afford to fix it up. It is too risky for them to buy a house that needs a lot of work because they can't afford to do the work. Given their circumstances they would not be willing to buy a house that needs tremendous amount of work unless blessed with the help of the wonderful cast and crew on Extreme Home Makeover. Please contact for more information on the twins, their family, etc.
I truly do not know how to begin. My husband and I are in our 50's and have raised our 2 natural children who are now in their 30's. 5 years ago, my 33 year old daughter divorced her husband, of 10 years, due to physical and emotional abuse; not only to her but their 5 girls as well. During the 10 years of marriage, he did not allow her to work therefore, controlling her immensely and without a career in place. Finally, after threatening her, she decided to get out of the abusive marriage and take her girls with her. After 5 years and MANY court dates later, she received sole-custody of the children. He then created diversions in my daughters life that caused her to lose custody and after HE was caught on school video 'choking my granddaughter', lost visitation and the children were placed in foster care; with my husband and I as Relative Placement..the children came to live with us. We now have temporary custody of all 5 of our beautiful granddaughters because we would not have it any other way. With all that being said, my husband is a good man. One of the few men who would do anything for anyone. He has worked with HVAC all his life and helps our family and the people in our community in any way he can. He has fixed the heat in many houses so that the elderly wont go without heat. He has fixed Air Conditioning in houses so that mothers with small children do not swelter… and IN THE SOUTH, its unbearable in the summertime. Most times, he doesn't charge a fee (only for the parts) and sometimes, if he has the extra parts, doesn't charge for them either. He cuts peoples grass because they had surgery or the Flu. He's an amazing man. He offers to help at all hours of the day and night not caring about himself…only about others. He is constantly caring and worrying about those he loves. An older couple in his Sunday School class have illnesses that keep them from doing their daily things..like, watering their flowers or taking out the trash, yet, he ALWAYS finds time to help. Saying he is an amazing man is an understatement. He truly believes in The Golden Rule… Treat others as you would have them treat you. Last year (2015) we lost our home of 18 years. The beginning of this year, we lost our car (5 seater) because even though taking our 5 grandchildren into our home was the 'Right thing to do' it is also expensive. We would NOT have it any other way. We love them unconditionally and will do whatever it takes to make their lives stable and with LOTS OF LOVE! We are in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath Rental home that fell into our lap May of last year when we lost our home. It was a blessing in disguise…however, as these girls grow into young ladies, the room is growing smaller and no one has any place for privacy. The children's ages at the time of this writing are: 14, 13, 11, 9, and the baby is 3. The baby sleeps in our room on her toddler bed while the other 4 girls share rooms. The owners of this home are willing to sale to us but our credit is not so good since we lost our home last year, so they have opted to rent-to-own to us. My husband is the only income we have and it is not feasible for me to work raising 5 children. Daycare would take my paycheck each week so I stay at home and take care of the girls. The 3 year old has Asthma and the 11 year old has Juvenile Diabetes. They have to be be monitored all the time. A lot of work needs done on this home but my family is happy here…we just need some help. We cannot afford a bigger place due to limited income…but this house could use some extra space so that we aren't cramped up like we are right now. Our Granddaughters are the most important to us. We love them wholeheartedly and would like to give them some room. Please help us if you will. My Husband is a good man and deserves some relief. Thank you.
hello, my name is Jozabed Betancourt. where do I begin, I've been having so many sleepless nights trying to figure out how to help my mom out. I don't know how my letter can stand out from the rest but I figured i'd give this a shot. We live in El Paso, tx. The weather here is very unpredictable. My mom is a hardworking lady who never asks for any help, even though she is in desperate need for some help. She has a minimum wage job, always putting her kids first. She is the type of woman who will always go out of her way to help others out. Unfortunately she doesn't live in the best situation, and because of her past experiences she has really given up and does not believe she needs help. I feel its my duty as her daughter to be the one to reach out to someone to help her in her desperate situation. My mom was married for 23 years, and 6 years ago got a divorce. This ruined her. She got into depression, and because of it she ended up losing her great job. Sadly, my dad had other plans for his life and no longer wanted to have my mom in his future. He decided to leave and left her living in our 26 year old mobile home. Not the ideal living situation I'd like for her to be in. Its literally falling apart, it has no air conditioning and no heating either. So every summer, with temperatures rising up to more than 100 degrees my mom is there…suffering. and in the winter with extremely cold weather, shes there getting warmth from the stove. Its a dangerous living situation to be in. She's always getting sick because its too much to handle. we've offered for her to stay with any of us, but my mother refuses. She refuses to be anyones burden, especially her kids. Her "home" is not insulated at all, and she has holes on the floor and cracks on the ceiling. So its like living outside basically. im not asking for any sympathy but im desperate, im desperate to help her out. So here I am reaching out to you hoping you can help my mom out. I just want my mom to be living somewhere she can be comfortable and not be suffering El Paso's crazy weather changes from her home. I beg for you all to take your time to read this, and consider her for the next home makeover. it'd be the biggest miracle she has been longing for. thank you
Sarah Kukendall.

Hi my name is Tristin and I want you guys to help my mom. I'm about to go off to school next month and that means tuition for college and I have a twin who leaves in the spring and because of the money, my mom can't afford to fix up her house or buy a new one. My mom is a single mother with three children and trying to put all of us through school. Our house has very bad pipes and electricity. All the pipes in our house need to be replaced and her home owners insurance won't help because they say it's a pre-existing condition and all the electrical needs to be replaced too. And they won't help there either. Because of this problem for a while we had to wash our clothes at the laundry mat and when our pipes burst it put a giant whole in the wall and they bursted again and we don't have help to fix it. From the pipes bursting it's turned into mold in our laundry room. In our bathroom the faucet in the tub just keeps leaking and also because of the electrical problem we have no AC so my had to get two little window AC's. If you guys could help my mom it would mean the world to us. She does so much for her and we can't even help the way we wish we could.
From my heart: A single father is trying to get 3 of his children returned from foster care. These children have been out of the home for 6 months. This man has completed every requirement set by DSS and the children's GAL.He has a community support team to help in the home and a professional team assigned by DSS. With all of his efforts and focus on his children there are several people on the committees who feel he is not able to handle 3 small children and the condition of the home are not acceptable. He has made many updates to the home as ordered by the children's lawyer but today as the lawyer delayed an over night visit for the children he was notified a new list is being sent for home improvements. This is a low income family and it seems unfair the children would not be allowed to be returned to their family over financial difficulties.
Can you help!?

Hello I am a single mom of three who has lost her parents at the age of thirteen an have lived through a parent with cancer an one with aides I have since had many struggles in my life but work hard to only make a better life for my children which I see no solutions to please contact me back via email or phone
Hello from the Long family in Missouri! In 1962, my grandparents moved here from California and bought a farm outside a small town called Fair Play to raise their family. They were God-fearing people who had strong morals and a hard work ethic. After raising 6 children and working the farm and other jobs as well, my grandparents retired and started enjoying their grandchildren.
Some of my fondest memories are wrapped up in the farm house my dad grew up in. Grandma taught me how to cook and bake in her kitchen, how to can fruits and vegetables, and how to do laundry in the old wringer washer. I helped feed all the animals, collect the eggs, and churn the buttermilk that came straight from the cows.
Now I have the pleasure of living in the same farm house, which is now over 100 years old. The ground floor has been remodeled and brought into the 21st century, while still maintaining some of the original elements of the home (like bead board). The upstairs hasn't been touched except for paint. It is basically used for storage because it needs major repairs.
Because the house is so old, the floor is starting to buckle some. We also suspect there is mold in the walls, which is very hazardous as my husband and kids have asthma and suffer from chronic respiratory issues. I would love to see this home rescued because of the rich family heritage that lives within these walls.
My parents own the farm house and the land it sits on. They are responsible for remodeling the downstairs, but ran out of money before they got to the upstairs. They decided to open a non- profit residential treatment facility for at risk youth and have devoted all their time and resources to provide a safe place where teenage boys can be equipped to be successful and productive young men. They have plans to build a community recreation facility where all the local youth can hang out and play in a safe environment.
My parents give so selflessly to others. Please consider giving this gift to them. Thank you.
Well to begin I have really been inspired from watching the show and seeing all the wonderful lives you have helps. It is a blessing to see so many people come together for a family. I am reaching out to share part of my story with you. I have 2 wonderful parents who have raised me up since I was a baby and they have giving me a great life. They have always put me and my siblings first all through life and have sacrficed and done without just to give us what we needed and wanted. My dad is a strong man and had been on dialysis on and off for 25+ years. Both of my parentS have always worked and done the best they could do. I had health issues back in 2003 which put my mom out of work for a few years. Then once i got better and was doing great my dad lost his last transplant back in 2011. since then he has been disabled and has lost alot of eyesite. On top of that they also help take care of my sisters children. I am currently back at hme to help with anything I can. The house we are living in needs lots of repairs but due to finacially burbens are unable to fix. My parents are great people and will do anything to help anyone and I just would love to give them a house that is stable enough for my dads health and for them to be able to enjoy the grandkids and not have to worry about things falling apart or breaking.
Hi this is Geraldine once again Rose's children are as follows—Emily Rose-18, Michael Alexander-16, Ethan Brady – 16, Troy Alexander – 8, Tia Alixia – 7, Dakota Faith – 7, Quentin James – 7, Myka Gale – 4 and Maxx Gabriel – 4, Zachary – 13, and Julian 17. mMy cell number is. I watch your show all the time and I have even used some of your ideas for my home when I had one I am now living with my son and his family in Nebraska since my husband passed in 2011. My son DJ died in 2012 and left Rose and his children behind and I would be forever grateful if you could help her and do a show in honor of my son and I am a 100% disabled veteran.
Hi, my name is Geraldine and I am writing this in regards to my daughter-in-law Rose Blassingame. My son DJ was her husband and he passed away in 2012 from a heart condition he had since birth. He left behind her and their 12 children ranging in age from 3 to 18. She does not have much money but is in dire need of a home make-over. She bought a house in Vinita Park Missouri for 28 thousand dollars and it is in dire need of repair with bathrooms that work properly and plumbing that works in the kitchen. It was a nunnery at one point and then an older lady had it when Rose bought the house and she had to buy it as it was what she could afford at the time with all the children she had to move from her previous home because of occupancy regulations where she lived before. She does the best she can with what little money she has. It is a sound house but needs some repair and I feel that it would be something you could dive right into and have fun with on your show.
I'm doing this for my dearest friends Bonnie and Phil Lerch. They live in Manchester PA. I have known Bonnie since high school. This woman has a heart the size of Alaska.Bonnie has always been one to be involved in many many thing. I love her energy and compassion for everything. I will start off by saying she has a small home on a main street. That is all she could afford after her divorce, that was ok because it was her's. Bonnie and Phil chose to be foster parent's. Bonnie is the best foster parent I've ever seen. All of these children that have been in her care have a better outlook on life and a better chance of a life because of her. She will fight for these children to her last breath. Whatever is in the best interest of these children. They are all treated like they are her own. She spends well more then she receives as "care money" for them each month. They are involved in so many extra things. She is always running to do things for them. Money she could have spent on her home she has spent on the children. She says this is what God had planned for her she believes. It gets very very crowded in her home. She has so little space at times you can hardly find a way to walk through the rooms because of kids things. This family lives and breaths for these children. But on top of that I myself have had a rough time. I'm raising my 9 yr old grandson and was without a babysitter. I live in Lancaster PA which is a 45 min ride from her house. With everything she has going on, she says to me when I tell her whats happened is at 8:30 pm on a Sunday night I will meet you half way pack a bag for Dominick I will keep me. Bonnie has taken on watching my grandson 5 days a week all summer and I even come up and spend the night 1 or 2 nights a week so I can visit with my grandson.I'm in the works of finding a place to rent that I can afford to be near Bonnie, she is going to watch him before and after school and days off. She knows I can't afford a sitter. This is how loving and giving and caring she is. If anyone deserves to win a home makeover it sure is this family.
Hello to a great group of people. In the yr 2015 here in SC we had severe water flooding, first ever. After that we notice our house shifting and notified FEMA and our ins. Company but found one yr later the damage there was before flooding; therefore, we're left with a home that at anytime could just fall because the center beams and ball joint has dry rotted abed split in half. This has caused most of the the floorings to drop. We got an estimate for the job but it way beyond what we could afford. This is a home that was built by my father before he passed away. My mom is a disabled 78yrs with 2 knee replacements, 2 back surgeries, heart ds, diabetes with possible need of dialysis, and a big loving heart. She has always given even if it's her last and before God take any of us away we would love to see her in a home her husband provided for her to past down to they're children fixed to do so. Please help my mom prevent her home from being unfit to live in.
Foreverse thankful,
Her daughter Tonya

I'm submitting this for my grandparents. They both grew up in this neighborhood & bought their house when they first got married. Papa was a teacher at the local middle school for 38 years & nana, an aid. I like to think of them as palisades royalty because of how well known/liked they are in the community. Years ago, Papa was diagnosed with Parkinson's. As it became more severe, nana and my uncle have become his caretaker. It has been this way for 4years now. But it has gotten to the point where they can't even get him out of the house. The way in and out are stairs & he can't handle stairs anymore, but my family also can't afford to put a ramp in. Because of this, nana has to sell the house that has been our families home base (since we all move around so much) for so many years, and move into a different neighborhood. My mom, brother & I have been their whole world for 18+ years but We can't be there to watch them like before anymore because my brother and I are heading off to college & my mom is moving farther away with her new family. My grandparents are the people who raised me. My dad left when I was born and my mom and I have always had a broken relationship. My grandparents are my inspirations & best friends & before I go away I want to make sure that although everything else seems to be changing around them, their living situation won't. They have given so much to the people around them selflessly. They would never ask for it, but need help & deserve it the most.
Extreme home make over we really need your help

I am a father of two,a son and a daughter, son 22,and daughter 8,We lived in my parents house for some time till the house went on auction. Currently we are staying in the rental house garage of my mother. My daughter and her mother are currently seperated because of the situation. I do not have a permanent job and are currently sweeping streets for a living. It was all that I could get. We are undergoing a lot of stress for we do not have the money to even afford a rental. This is a big strain on my family and we will be satisfied with any place possible as long as our family can be reunited. We've been struggling for five years now and most of the time we were out of work. I and my son are currently working, but are not bringing in merely enough. This has taken its toll on my daughter. If there is anyway we could be helped we will highly appreciate it. Please let us know. God bless.
Hello there. My name is Lacie. I live in a small town named Gardnerville in Nevada. Lived here my whole life with my 2 grandparents that adopted me when I was 5 yrs. Old and recently my great grandma since my great grandpa passed away last year. He was also a Veteran and the second greatest man I have ever known next to my Papa, which is basically my dad. In those pictures you will see my Papa connected to an oxygen pump, sitting in his chair which he basically lives in. His name is Patrick Price and he is my Hero. To take on what he has in life and the fact he is still holding on today never giving up is a hero in my eyes. He also served our country and he suffers from this chemical disease from Vietnam called Agent Orange. Not only that but when my real dad was only a teen, him and my Papa got in the worst car wreck you could ever imagine. Papas legs will never work the same since then. He is in the worst pain you could ever think a human could bare, but he FIGHTS to live another day. To see such a strong man work hard his entire life to have everything ripped away from him from a car crash forever being disabled just breaks my heart. He deserves the world and SO much more.. that I wish I could give him and my grandma. They took care of me, raised me, gave me so much love which is why I will never ever give up on them. I would die for them both. I am asking you wonderful god sent Angel's to give us a chance. Come meet my Papa, he fought for our country to suffer in a world where the VA in Reno, NV doesn't even treat him right. He was in a month long coma a few months ago and we almost lost him. I can't lose him…not before I do EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING it takes to get him to be happy again. Or atleast smile. I'm not asking for a fancy new Home, I'm not asking for anything but a chance and Hope for a beautiful future I will die trying to give him. My father and my hero. He wants to go back to Hawaii and die where he was born. Maybe that, you could help me with. I would be forever grateful and more if you would even come shake his hand. Tell him he's a Hero for eternity. This is my dying wish. Thank you SO much for your time. I couldn't be more grateful to have written this.
God Bless you All. I'm praying for this chance every day.
4 in this house

Hi, My name is Shelly Branscum. I'm from Cave City Arkansas. For starters I'm fully 100% doing this for my mother. I know theres more deserving people like people who don't have homes, but I thought I try. Im a 20 year old, working/college living with my 48 yr old mom, 24 brother with his wife and their daughter and our dog Dixie We are almost done buying our home. We've lived there since I was in third grade, and that was 13 years ago. 7 years ago my father passed away and without him our house has fallen apart. We've had some things fixed but like all families we continued to struggle. A year ago my mother was "let go" from her job of 20 years at a medial clinic basically because of Obama Care, and it would have cost more to keep my mother as an employee because of her experience there and 15 years before at the White River hospital. For ten or more years my mom has been on the extreme coupon fix. No she has never been on the show Extreme couponers but she has some extreme saving skills. For a good tens years we've had a bedroom turned in to our own personal store. It was nice for a while have huge now products, snacks, and food always there. But over the years and local/national events lead to our "store" going low in supplies. To tell you the truth mom used her stock room of supplies more on others than us.she always made sure we had what we needed though. She gave boxes of hygenies products and snacks to people who lost their home in some time of destruction, and the homeless, or stuggling friends or strangers we came across who needed it . She gave up so much for us. Our stock room of goods contuined to despair as my mother traded our goods for milk or bread, always making sure we had we had what "we needed" and gave up what she had to have that include her medicine for her diabetes. Now at our home not a single electrical outlet works, our heating and air dosent work, the bricks to our 3 bedroom home our sliding. I share a room with my mom cause her floor is falling through. And like everything we could afford to get it fixed because life happened. Two cars, my college, her medical bills still has blocked us from fixing one of the essential things evey human needs, a home. Now I know I shouldn't complain, but I don't know how much longer we gone before we cause us the electricity from the lightbulb s or before that burns our house done, or that Arkansas heat gets to us first. I'm just asking for a chance for someone to listen, for someone to help because I'm desperate. I honestly don't care what's done for me me aslong as my mom has a 1 in a million chance to get a home thy works, that's she can live in because she has done so much, not just for our community, but to our city and states with her contributions from her own little store to the work to her medical service to everyone. My mom is a X-ray tech. She fixes broken arms all the ways up to delivering a baby. And that's not even at the medical clinic. I just hope and pray some reads this, gives us a chance. And if not its ok, I tried. We will continue and press on. Thank you for reading this, if anyone reads this. Thank you.
Hello! My name is Amanda and I'm writing on behalf of a dear friend and co-worker in Berea, KY Mrs. Maudie Neeley and her grand-daughter Lindsay. Maudie has been a foster parent for special needs children for over 30 years and now she needs our help. Mrs. Neeley was diagnosed with lung cancer last year and after several rounds of treatment was given the "all clear" by her oncologist. Unfortunately he was not correct and the cancer spread, growing larger in her lungs and developing in her hips. There is nothing that can be done at this point so her physicians and her family are attempting to make her as comfortable as possible during the time she has left. The two special needs ladies that Mrs. Neeley has cared for since they were babies are in danger of having to be placed in another home with caregivers they don't know and who don't know their specific needs. Throughout the 30+ years that they have lived with Mrs. Neeley they have become a part of their large family, loved by all of Mrs. Neeley's children and growing up with her grand-children. In fact her grand-daughter Lindsay has been helping to provide care for these two ladies since she was old enough to and wishes to continue caring for them once her Granny leaves this earth for her heavenly home. The issue, and what we are asking your help with, is that Lindsay's home does not have a bedroom for the girls and there are minimal funds to have an addition built. I have contacted local churches and have been seeking assistance anywhere I could to help get this room built for these ladies so that they can remain with their "family." Laura and Nikki, the ladies we are speaking of, have received the ultimate care since the day they went to live with Mrs. Neeley and will continue to receive this care from Lindsay for as long as she is able. Lindsay grew up with these ladies and now her daughter Gracie enjoys spending time with them daily, calling them her "best friends." During the 30+ years that these ladies have lived with Mrs. Neeley and even since Lindsay has taken over their care in Mrs. Neeley's home, they have never had a bed sore, are rarely ill and have everything and anything their hearts desire. Please, we are begging for your help in keeping this family together. I fear that if these ladies are moved to another caregiver they may not fare as well not only because of the level of support they have always received but because this is the only family they have ever known. Many thanks.

I know there are a lot of deserving people out there but I would like to apply for a home makeover too. We bought this house when my fiance got his disability as it was all we could afford at the time. It is falling in all around the house with the back part being the worst.we both have breathing problems and we have no a/c in the summer for his emphysema… All our Windows are broken and there is no insulation anywhere so heat in the winter is a problem.it is just a mess but cannot afford to fix anything on a fixed income.
Hi Extreme Makeover team. My name is Tshidi Mofokeng, and I live in South Africa. Im soon to be 35 years old, I live with my partner and our 3 children in a very small house that has no space. I wish you guys were in South Africa, so that you can help my family and I. What you are doing for everyone there is very wonderful and may God keep blessing you so that you can continue doing the greatest work you do for people. I love you guys and your show.
Hello, my name is Valerie. I live in Adelanto, CA with my husband Nathan, our daughter Sadie, and my son Kaleb. Nathan's mother also stays with us. We recently got married January 13th, 2016, and it's been a rough year for us. Sadie was diagnosed with ASD and intellectual disabilities, we had a teacher that would come to the house to work with her because she was completely non verbal. She is now 3, and enrolled in special Ed pre k, and I continue to work with her at home. Dispite her set backs, she is the sweetest, smartest, most lovable little girl ever. My heart lights up every time she's around. My son Kaleb has had issues with his father becoming evicted and homeless, and it's taking its toll on him. He's only eight years old and is having behavioral issues because of that. He is very sweet and gets good grades in school, he's just having a rough time with everything. My husband works a lot, and never gets any time to himself. He's very selfless, and always thinks of his family and friends above anything else. He would do anything for us. It's been rough, but I know we can get through this and anything else that comes our way, because we have an amazing relationship. He's my best friend. He's had a rough life, but I think that's why he's such an amazing person now. He left school to raise his sister when he was a teen. His mother was in and out of their lives, and he didn't meet his father till he was in his twenties. I know there are many others that deserve this chance, but I would love to have this for our family, and have a place for Nathan to come home to and enjoy his family without having to worry about all the stress in our lives. Thank you so much for your time!

My name is Shane I'm a 100% disabled veteran. I've had to move my wife, animals and I out into the woods just to get out of debt we're living in a shack. Our kitchen is outside. The reason we had to move here is because we took on to foster kids and our elderly neighbor. The state only paid us $800 the whole 10 months we had the kids the power bill went up to $600 a month food water etc . So my whole check went to bills. Also our neighbor who we got though DCF had her account frozen by them so I also paid for her house as well. Lucky we meet two wonderful people who sold us the land for no money down. Just make the mortgage every month. We are struggling to stay a float and be happy with what we were lucky to get. If you only seen this place you would instantly come here. Our bathroom is our bedroom and as I said our kitchen is outside. We have plans to build a log cabin on here with animal cages so my wife and I can start a non-profit animal rescue because we would love to save them all. Also have them trained to be service animals for veteran's. I also left out we were adopting them because we can have kids, but because we got into a financial bind we don't have them anymore. Thanks to the state. If you could find it in your hearts to help us we would truly appreciate it. Feel free to email or stop bye anytime.

Hello Extreme Home Makeovers my name is Latoya Ford Harris I am 37 years old I don't have any kids but I have plenty of nieces and loving nephew we lost my grandmother February 21st 2016 she was 95 she broke her hip she was the type of woman that would help any and everybody even as a child I can remember her going to elderly people houses and cleaning them up for them and running errands for them as well she's always help any when she can she was loyal to her church and loyal to my deceased grandfather who has been dead now for 42 years my grandmother refinance the house 10 years ago when she died she had no will and had just refinance the house as I stated 10 years ago now I am left with a 20 year mortgage and the home that we live in it's her Legacy left to the family I'm doing my best to hold everything down as far as the mortgage payment the taxes on the land and this year I couldn't afford the insurance I had to come back and live with my grandmother about 3 years ago because she fell very ill she also was a right amputee to her diabetes I now share the home with my older brother Kenneth Howard Ford Jr who is also diagnosed with bipolar and share as well with my oldest sister sheWana toson and her two youngest kids Emmanuel toson and ola Lee toson who is named after my grandmother. Emmanuel is disabled due to an incident that happened when he was younger the ball joint in his hip has been removed and he has to have one additional surgery when he turns 18 the home was built in 1960 my mother my uncle was raised in this home as well as many other families my grandmother has helped cousins friends of family and people that just needed somewhere to stay the home has been in a total of three floods 1 in 1960 something. Another in 1994 which was the worst it consumed the entire house before the flood of 94 the home had hardwood floors and gave it great value After the flood of 94 and we recovered finally at the beginning of 1998 another flood hit the home but only the floor was covered thank God 4 FEMA because otherwise we would not have had a home to come back to now the house is in really bad shape the house 6 on about a third of the acre my grandmother owns and the entire acre of land but the current house only six on a portion it would truly be a blessing to have the home rebuilt and due to the fact that is in a flood area it has to be elevated I definitely don't have the funds and I don't want to lose the house that's something I promise to my grandmother that I will always have this home for family it just breaks my heart to see the shape that the house is in and knowing that I can't fix it on my own I applied for the show 10 years ago before it ended but I did not get the application in on time and my heart was broken I feel that this is a sign and a second chance from God to have this done I will be so grateful to have the opportunity to have this home rebuilt and big enough for my family to live comfortable and then maybe my mind can be at ease I feel that so much has happened and I am so overwhelmed I cry a lot of times because of the thought of losing everything that my grandmother and my grandfather worked so hard to keep and to leave for the family I am the only one working right now at this time leaving this comment I work long hours and sometimes don't even have a day off the home does not have central heating or air in the land has been overtaken by the environment itself ever since the flood of 94 so I beg of you sir please give us the opportunity please help our family
Thank you for letting us leave comments here!
My friend I was stationed with in the Air Force packed up his children and moved home to Alabama care for his mother who has dialysis 3 times a week. He took a huge pay cut, and also drives an hour and a half both ways to work three times a week as well (making sure he is home on days when his mother is home). He is sleeping on the couch and his son on the love seat. They have no privacy. His sister and her daughter also live there. The home is older and needs some work and more bedrooms so everyone can have their own space. There is only one bathroom and the kitchen appliances are on their last leg. This is the home his father (now deceased) built with his hands. My friend has made a huge sacrifice for his family and I just appreciate everything he has done. He really deserves this makeover. Ps-his grandmother's empty home is next door but it is on its last leg as well. He talks of making improvements and I know he can do it eventually, however, I would love to see him win this opportunity. A true patriot and family man
Hello, my name is Timothy Littlepage and I have been living with my girlfriend for about 5 months now and the house she has inherited from her mother who has been gone for awhile now is in shambles and there is no insulation at all to keep us her kids my child and all of our rescued dogs and cats warm during the winter or cool during the summer. We have to run two air conditioners and 4 fans just to keep from burning alive in our own living room. I actually have to step outside most of the time just to cool off. Me and my girlfriend both work minimum wage jobs and are just barely able to get by with the bills and the animal food let alone the stuff to try and fix the house. So I'll let you decide if we are eligible for a new house or not.
Good evening,
I am extremely humbled by this offering and grateful to be considered. So thank you.My story and why I think my family deserves a home makeover.
I would like to nominate my daughter Hannah and her fiancé Nick. They live in Hilham Tn. They have a beautiful 9 month old baby girl and she is currently pregnant with their son which shes having alot of trouble with pregnancy and shes on bed rest with him. She hasnt been able to work in the past two years nick has been working and trying to pay all the bills which is hard because they've borrowed two loans from the bank and trying pay them and bills and provide food for them and everything that their babies need but its been really hard. Hannah has currently been able to get back in school but has a while to go before she will be out. But they was giving nicks daddys trailer after he passed away. Which is a two bed room trailer. The trailer needs alot of work though the floors need redoing they are either rotted out or as for in the bathrooms and other places through out the house theres holes in them you can see under the trailer and some the walls have actually come unattached from the floor that there are big gaps between the floor and walls they redone some but they cant afford to redo them and they've only been able to just lay pilewood so they only have pilewood floors. They have one bathroom because the other needs alot of work done to sink toliet tub n floor. Their bathroom the tub holds water at all times and counters around sink falls off the walls. In their bedroom the roof links and theres mold and all the walls need redone in there they are molded at bottom and floor has mold on it. In the kitchen the sink is falling in thats all wrong with it and the back bedroom which they was gonna make the babies needs alot of work theyve redone part the floor and having redo walls but still not finished they have all been staying in their bedroom. They have no air besides a 110 window air conditioner they close the door to their room bc its the only room the air conditioner will cool. For heat this past winter they used wood heat which wasn't very warm or safe for the baby. Things where so bad and it got so hot on them this summer they recently moved in with my mom so they would have air for the baby but it has went out there to and they dont have the money to fix it. So really moving didnt help them. Im hoping that maybe you can help them so that my grandbabies have a good stable reliable safe home to grow up in and hannah an nick to so they get some relief and can live happy. Thanks. Becky

Thanks.
Hello! As I sit hear reading some of these entries, I can't begin to imagine how hard the job is of deciding who gets help and who doesn't. I'm writing to you about myself and my family. We are a hard working family in western KY. We live in a very small, rural, farming community. We live in a 12 year old double wide. Everyday something new goes wrong in our home. We have done repairs, and even attempted a bathroom makeover of our own. That didn't go so well. The repairs we made in the bathroom are coming back to haunt us as the shower is rotting away under our feet every time we use it. We have a bucket in our hallway that collects water that leaks from our a/c unit. The floor under the bucket is rotting away. We have well water so anything that uses water in our home has to be replaced every few years due to the corrosion the well water causes. We need a new roof desperately, but we can't afford it and insurance only covers a small portion due to the type of home we have and mobile home insurance doesn't pay much and has a super high deductible. We still have the fiberglass steps at all of the entrances that came with the house, and the rail has come off of one, and it's cracked and about to break in, and it's the main one we use. All of our windows leak and we have mold that grows in the ledges. We have three kids and only 3 bedrooms, so the girls share a very small room with a even smaller closet. We have a single trailer across the road from us that my mother in law lived in until recently. She has had to move to TN due to the condition of her home. She has COPD and the mold from all of the cracks and leaks in her home has made it worse. The floors in almost all the rooms have rotted through and have had to have plywood put down to keep a person from going through the floor. Again well water has caused much damage in the home due to the corrosion of the water lines. Our county will not run city water out here without us having to pay for it. We would also have to pay for a water meter to be put in. The cost that was quoted to us was near $3500. We both work, he has been at the same job for almost 16 years. But even with two people working unless you have great paying job you barley make enough to pay the bills, much less get any home repairs done. We both have health issues, and it's hard on us physically to try and do the work our self that needs to be done here. Some of it is just outright impossible for either of us. We've tried in the past to get out own business of the ground and running so I could stay at home, and we could make more money. But that just hasn't worked out, there was always something coming up that required more money than what we were making. We would love to be considered for your show. We don't have family that we can go to for help, as both my parents are gone. And so is his father and his mother is in horrible health.
Hello my name is Toby I'm 17 years old and I want to request an extreme home makeover for my grandmother. About a year-and-a-half ago my dad's house burned down and we were all forced to move into my grandmother's a single wide trailer. My grandmother was nice enough to give my dad and his wife her room but that left my grandmother forced to sleep with me in the living room! The floors are going bad in the house the AC barely works and we have to keep the windows open at night so the cool air can blow to the house it would mean more to me than words can describe if you could give my grandmother her dream come true and we make her house thank you and I hope to hear from you
My name is Toby, I'm requesting a home makeover for my grandmother. The house is filled with 6 family members, because about a year-and-a-half ago my dads house burnt down the house is only a single wide trailer so me and my grandmother have to share a room and it's the living room I can't begin to tell you how much Home Makeover would mean to us my grandmother has worked all her life and has gotten nothing for it she deserves this more than anyone on the planet if you could find it in your hearts to contact me and give us a good home that would need more than words could ever describe the floors in the house or riding there's two bathrooms but only one works my grandmother gave my dad and his wife her room and now she's sleeping with me the house has no good AC so the windows left open at night so we could stay cool please help us and make my grandmother's dream come true
I am requesting this for my foster mom! She is wanting to help more kids out but we don't have enough room! If we can help kids we can change their lives!
My cousins fiancees parents are taking in a 2yr old neglected and abused little girl. The "mother" is no where to be found. She gave up Aerobellas' 7 month old siblings who were twins for free to someone on Craigslist that she found. She took bella last thursday (last time she came around) walked 2 mi with bella bare foot on the hot road. She had burns and blisters on the bottom of her feet.
She isnt allowed to see her daughter now only under strict supervision. But like i said she is unreachable and no where to be found now.Even before they were born the "mother" was giving them away for free. The "mother" is 21.
The family who are taking care of this 2yr old little girl are at risk for loosing their land and their house is in need of alot of repairs. They are an elderly couple who stepped up to help raise this helpless child. Just some of the stuff needed are clothes for Bella and repairs to family vehicle for appointments, child expenses and court for custody. Her "mother" totally neglected her and her needs, she is on the run and can not be found. The "mother" can care less about the safety of her daughter. As of right now she is in a very good home and they are in a custody battle please help them keep this child safe. All help is appreciated, this little girl is Aerobella she is only 2yrs old.
Team Bella is what they are calling it.
Please Be apart of Team Bella and help save this little girl from going back to her "mother".
The first pic is her in her "mothers" care and the last 2 are in the care of the place she is at right now. They have also taken me and my daughter in as well. Its a 3 bed room 2 bath trailer sitting on 2.5 acres. Things are falling apart and they dont have a room to sleep in they gave up their room to all of us, they are 55 and 44 years old who took on the care of a 2yr old of no relation. Saw a little girl in need.

hey, my name is ashlyn. i'm 16, and live in arkansas. i know a lot of people reach out to you when they need help with their homes, but this isn't for me. it's for my parents. i'm just going to start from the beginning. my mother (stacy) and stepfather (brandon) live on 20 acres of land in a camper. we have been trying our hardest to build this house. we have been living in the camper for a year, and it hasn't been easy at all. my mother is a nurse, and with the money she makes she pays the bills, land payments, and food for us. it takes up most of her check and leaves no money to help build onto the house. my stepfather brandon build onto the house, and has a job where he helps build onto people's houses/repair work. this past month has been rough on us. we are currently staying at my grandmothers house because brandon was working on the house and he shattered his heel.. he can't walk on it for 12 weeks. he's in crutches and he feels so horrible that he can't build onto the house. we were planned to move in by the end of summer, but we can't anymore. he's off of work till his foot heels. my mom just had surgery and can't work for a couple weeks, and it's really hard on my mom being the only one who makes the money. trying to build a house, putting food on the table, and paying all the bills. the camper has a barrel we have to go get water in, we don't have a reliable car/truck to pull the trailer so it's hard getting water. we sometimes have to shower at the neighbors house. the house needs to have flooring put down, the ceiling needs to finish with the sheet rock, and a lot of other stuff. being a daughter to both of these hard working parents, i think they deserve some help. i cry myself to sleep some nights because i hate seeing them so unhappy about this house.. so it would be really appreciated if you guys would help. i watch yalls show all the time and see how y'all help such beautiful family's. please help us, we are in desperate need!

My name is Christian. I live in the small town of marshall, ar. I am married and have 2 small children. My parents have lived here in the same house all my life. I am 31 years old. My father had a stroke several years ago and ever since then my mother has been the only one working. I remember my father only missed a couple of days of work his entire life and that's because he had the fku. My dad was a great mechanic. He started out at my grandparents stain they owned here in town at the age of 14. It's been extremely difficult on my mother. My father feels like he can't provide for his family anymore. They are behind on bills and I have been trying to help them. To make at tees worse, we just put my grandmother in the nursing home where I work. My mother is also trying to pay her bills as well. My mother was in the middle of remodeling the house when my dad got sick. Everything has been at a stand still for years. We cannot afford to hire anyone to help and even if we could we would still need money to pay for materials. My parents deserve a great house. They are the hardest working people I know. My husband and I live in a 1250 Sq foot 2 bedroom home with our 7 year old son and 2 year old daughter. So, needless to say, we have no room for them to move in with us. I want to give my mother and father a new homwle. They did whatever it took to give me the world when I was young.

Hi! My name is Samantha LaRock, before I was born my grandfather has design my grandmother her dream home, but over the years since he got sick and has passed the keeping up the home for my grandmother has been unbearable even for her. I would love for her to be able to stay in her home seeing as she is planing on leaving it bc she can no longer handle the projects, please she is a sweet lady and I myself would hate to see the family home be sold to a stranger!! Please help us make her dreams come true!!!
Hello!! My name is Felicia. I am asking for help for my hard working brother and sister-n-law. They have 3 beautiful children. Back in 1982 my sister-n-law's grandfather built their home from the ground up. Needless to say when he built their home a lot of things weren't quite built correctly. And over the years things have gotten worse. Since then her grandfather passed away. Her grandmother became ill and the house went into foreclosure, then her grandmother passed away and they lost the home. All in God's favor my brother and his wife were blessed with the opportunity to be able to purchase his wife's childhood home back in 2009. They both were so happy. Since purchasing their home there has been nothing but heartache and pain due to all of the issues with their home. For example the electrical work has cause a great deal of a hassle. Everytime it rains there are leaks. They have to unplug all electrical things because they have lost 4 TVs. The plumbing is terrible. The eves around the house are filled with wasps and termites and are rotted. They have what could be an awesome patio but the ceiling is falling in. In general the whole house is in desperate need of a makeover. These 2 people in my life are so hardworking and deserve not less than the best. My sister-n-law is a nurse at a doctor's office in our small community and she is constantly giving back everyday. She is well known there and she love her job. Her patients love her. She takes care of men, women, and children. She just has a special heart for what she does and her ability to care for others does not go unrecognized. My brother is rather on the quiet side. He is a very hardworking man who provides for his family. He tries to repair some of the things in their home but he's no match for the amount of work that needs to be done. My brother and sister-n-law have no idea I'm trying to make their dream come true. I'm asking for your help in simply giving them what they deserve. Something like this has NEVER happened in our small town. Thank you so very much and hope to hear from you soon!!!
In January 2016 our home was flooded. I was out of town while the damage was done, and when I returned there was an inch of standing water and more mold then you can imagine, so much so the cat got an upper respiratory infection.I was about 16 weeks pregnant, and have two lovely children one girl 16 months and one boy 2.5 years old. So, I packed what I could and took them to motels for over a week alone until my husband returned from business trip. We spent our savings on buying a 30 foot travel trailer (in california these are PRICEY), Bt was better then 100 a night motel stay. About two months into the trailer stay I my water broke at only 21 weeks pregnant and I delivered our son the fol lowing day, unfortunately he did not make it, he was with us for a short three hours. I decided to get a job hoping we cold stay busy and put money away. While at work a little over a month after loosing our baby boy, I was bit by a rattle snake and was life flighted to the nearest hospital. Due to the rattle snake bite I had seziures and lost my memory as well as complete nerve damage in my right leg resulting in not being able to use it at all. After comming home insurance informed us That we are only covered for 22,000 in damages and it was appraised at 50,000. Due to the saturation of black and orange mold we can not move back in nor can we afford to pay the excess of the appraisal amount. We just want a place to settle into, a place I can get into with my wheel chair and a place to heal and call home. Honestly we just need a break!
Hey guys. My name is Brooke and I am 19 years old. I have watched your show for so long..since I was just a kid. I'm amazed at how you guys bless these families with such beautiful homes. Now..I have a story of my own. My family's house is falling apart. the entire back wall is falling out. There are holes in the floors and walls and barely enough room for all of us. Money is tight..I work along with my dad to provide for my mom and two sisters plus the two of us. My mom lives in this house and suffers from psoriatic arthritis. It's not a safe place for her..and the condition of our house is not an ideal home for three teenagers. I ask that you somehow help and bless is. Because we sincerely need it. Thank you. -Brooke

Hello, I would like to nominate a family that I am currently providing Targeted Case Management Services too in Central Florida. My story is kind of lengthy so please bare with me. I just don't know what else I can do to help this family. My hands are tied up at this point so I just turned to God in prayer and asked for Him to guide me and Boom … Extreme Makeover home edition here I am :-)I really did pray in all seriousness though. So here is my story…. The family that I am assisting is a single mother of 7 biological children who all have some type of special needs. For as long as I have been working with my client and have known of her, she has always strived to provide her children with continuity in their home. Her goals in life are solely to make sure her family is safe, healthy and has a good quality of life.
My client was originally approved for a grant to fix her mold issues in her home. The grant was through the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation program which is a housing program for existing homeowners to assist in ensuring their home is up to current building codes and considered safe and sanitary. Rehabilitation assistance is a deferred payment loan up to $50,000.00 for those eligible. Long story short, the contractor that they hired and paid to do the work on her home unfortunately did not do what he was told and paid to do and the home continues to have several health issues and damaged areas which the contractor is refusing to fix. I have tried advocating on so many levels to get this home fixed properly for this family but I have gotten no where. This family has so much to deal with on a regular basis and to have to deal with inadequate housing in addition to the family's everyday struggle is placing so much strain in the family home. There is so much more to this story that I would love to share with you more on if this family is chosen. Thanking you in advance for your time and consideration in choosing this family……….. Jennifer Monje, B.S./TCM

Hi my name is Summer. When I was in 4th grade our house my dad built us had gotten repossessed. My grandfather was nice enough to give us his trailer so were wasn't forced to live on the streets. Unfortunately, it is falling apart. I'm worried that something might happen to my mom or my little brother. My mom works hard for a living, but she just can't afford anything. A few years ago her hot water heater busted and ruined the floor, the homeowners insurance would not pay to fix the damage. Her floor underneath her bed is rotting, and I don't want it to cave in while she sleeping, and it severely hurt or kill her. My mom really needs this. Please consider.

My best friend Alison lives in South Africa with her parents. Alison has the most beautiful heart of anyone I have met. Their house burnt down 14 years ago and her father never recovered from the trauma of that and could not bring himself to rebuild properly. As a result they have been living in a temporary structure built out of flimsey materials and without interior walls. Recently intruders came into the house while Alison was home alone to steal and thank goodness her dad came home before they could do anything to her but this left her and her parents feeling very vulnerable and scared. The other day they returned and stole all the few valuables they have including her mothers wedding ring&late grandmothers watch. The intruders also wrecked her whole house. Alison has plans to teach in New Zealand and she is afraid to leave her parents in a house where they won't be safe. Her mother has worked very hard as a waitress to put Alison and her brother through university and it would be so wonderful for her to be blessed for all the hard work and sacrifices she has made for her children. Please help to restore what has been stolen from this family
