I decided to tell you my story. I hope read it, if not, at least I got it out of my chest. I am 36 years of age. when I was three years of age, the civil war broke in my country of Sudan. I don't know if you are familiar with it or not. Basically the oppressors, the Islamic extremists tried to wipe out the Christian like myself. I lost lot of people, friends and families. My mother who passed away, bless her heart; took my younger siblings and myself in the middle of the night and escaped my beloved country of Sudan. we walked all night and days for two weeks with no food or water. We drank out of swamp, the water was coded green with gems and bacteria. Long story short. we made it to Uganda, the neighbor country. There, the UN rescue us with shelter and food. My family were fortunate enough to get asylum to the US. I went to high school and college and everything. But, ever since I moved down here in the ATL, I haven't found any job. I am stuck with my college degree working in the warehouse making a $11 per hour. why do I want to act now? I feel like I need a breakthrough .I need to challenge myself harder. Beside, I want the world to see an African beauty too.
