My name is Hunter Cook I just turned 19 I have been singing sense I was 15 where I started around a campfire at a local 4H fair a friend was playing guitar and wanted me to sing along so I did ! They sll said you're really good you should do something with that so I did I started entering contests I won some locals and was invited by some friends to go one in Nashville I won a recording contract to record a demo which turned into a full cd . My first which was titled What A Cowboy Does the first song that I wrote went to number three on the inspirational country charts in Nashville . Hello! Singing is my life. I can't live without it. You can always find me singing wherever I go. I sing on the worship team every Sunday at church. I've sang for David Archuleta twice. I've done American idol 6 times, the voice 3 times, glee, Americans got talent, the X factor twice, and a talent agency. As you can tell I'm. It giving up. All these shows judge you on the way you look not the way you sound and that's wrong. I think if you have a talent in singing you should get a chance to Sing in front of the judges and show off your voice. And I will do that someday. I'll keep auditioning till I make it until then I'll keep singing on stage cause that's the joy in my life.

I have met with PHILIP PHILLIPS and EMILY OSMENT in the past. I am 17. I play guitar and mess around on piano. I was classically trained from the time I could speak until eighth grade, then when high school hit, I transitioned into pop and contemporary. This past summer I was the youngest finalist in WIXX's Big Break Competition, by four years, out of over 1000 contestants. Please just give me a chance-I promise I'll give you my all. The reason I want to do this is because of my two brothers. One had his vocal cords cut during open heart surgery at four days old and he was robbed of a voice, the other was born with a cleft pallet and lip, but is still RISING ABOVE in his own way-he is now a United States Marine. I am 43 years old and have been singing since I was a child in church. I continued throughout my school career singing in School plays, and doing vocal impressions for extra credit. I have been fronting bands since I was 20 here in the Myrtle Beach area and in 2003, was fortunate enough to perform in Blackpool England UK at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Upon my return from the UK, I worked performing the fair circuit with Amusements of America, and Conklin performing at venues such as Florida State and Miami-Dade County fairs, Hershey Park PA, NJ State Fair and the Calgary Stampede 2004 in Alberta Canada. My career was halted at the end of 2004 Edmonton Alberta Klondike Days festival when I learned I had nodules on my vocal cords. I rested my voice and took on manual labor jobs until my nodules were resolved in 2007. I injured my back in a work related accident in July of that year and have since been singing for Weddings, parties and other functions. I long to perform for a larger audience once again! If given this opportunity, I WILL rise above and give it my ALL! BTW…I write my own songs and play guitar. I may just be the talent you are looking for.

Snoelle has always been terrified to sing in front of people but she believes that she can do it. The most she had sung in front of is 16 people . My friends suggest me going onto this tv show because they say they watch it all the time and believe I would beat the rising star! Micayla does choir and has sung in front of hundreds of people . We both sing together everyday . Around the house , inside stores , and in front of our friends . We love singing and it's something we would like to do for the rest of our lives.
