Disney’s all-time classic animated film Sleeping Beauty is set to hit the big screens as an all new live action story starring one of the world’s biggest stars, Angelina Jolie. Maleficent is being prepped to shoot later this year and the search is on for talented actors of all ages for supporting players in this rich and fabled tale.
Maleficent will explore the origin story of the title character who is known as the evil fairy in the original Sleeping Beauty and will explore what led her to curse the beautiful Princess Aurora. In addition to the Oscar winning Jolie as Maleficent, the film will feature The Secret Life Of An American Teenager star India Eisley as the young version of Maleficent and Elle Fanning, Miranda Richardson and Sharlto Copely in supporting roles.
