  1. My name is katina riddick. I am 41 years old and i live in suffolk va. My family is in desperate need of your help. Their house is falling down terrible. My sister and her daughter are sick. My sister is 76 and her daughter is 57. Her daughter works for the school and her mom is on retirement. They have vinyl siding and the boards underneath are rotten. They have tried to get help but nobody seems to want to help them. They are 3,000 behind in their house payments cause they cant keep up. The house is really not fit to stay in. It would really help me if you could help them. Ceiling about to fall in and bugs are terrible in the house

  2. Hi my name is luke and I am 14 years I am from south africa our house is busy to fall on us we borrow every year money just to make our house pretty. we found just now a snake and realise under our house is soaken wet we can even feel the wetness thru the tiles I am asking you please to give my house a makeover please I am begging you we even play the lottery just to better our house but we never won ..I know you guys don't build houses in south africa but I am begging you please help before this house fall on us…thankyou

  3. I know that most people will apply for a whole family, but my post is just for one person. My grandmother. Since my grandfather passed away in July of 2012 things have been hard for my grandmother. Some of us feel that she has given up.
My grandfather was a man that I would call my own father, if we didn't have him me and my brothers would not have had the life that we did have. He paid for all of our sports (hockey, baseball, bowling and much more) he loved us with all that he had.
In 1991 his son, my uncle died in an airplane crash. My uncle brian was the pilot and it was so hard for my grandparents to lose their youngest son. But from the money that they received from insurance they bought a house.
The house was beautiful, it is a lakefront house with a very large yard. The only problem is that it is so far for the rest of the family to get there.
In the winter my family tries to come out as often as we can to help my grandmother. One of these days I'm scared she will have fallen down one of the flights of stairs.

See, the house is starting to fall apart. We can't afford to do the renovations that we need to do. It gets cold in the winter because of the drafts. And there are so many levels to the house that it's hard for my grandma to even get to her bedroom.
What she needs is a house with one or two levels. Everything that she needs on the first level and the second level can be bedrooms for everyone to stay in when we come to visit.

Our family is thinking of selling the lake house. It costs a lot of money to upkeep the small renovations. But we want to keep the lake in our families name. Please help my grandmother. I think that she deserves this more than any other person that I've ever known.

  4. I am applying for a home makeover because my family has faced so many hardships and we just cannot fix our home. Everyone here expect me have had issues with unemployment and underemployment and the result of the consequences. I am the one with the most steady income, but everything is so expensive here in Chicago that I cannot keep up with all the bills, let alone the house repairs. The house is over 100 years old, there is mold, water damage, electrical issues and much more. There was recently a new addition to our house last January, my 10 month old grandson and I often worry if the house is safe for him to live. I know so many people have it so much worse than me, but I hope you can help them and also help me, this is my wish. I am 50 years old and all my life, I have made an honest wage and work hard, I give everything I can to those worse than me, those in more need than me. My life is dedicated to educating those so in need of higher education. However, one cannot prosper from this type of income when one serves the community. This is also the reason I cannot do the things I need to do in my home. My ultimate dream is that I can have a home makeover. I pray each day something will give, you will respond, a renovation loan will get approved or something will give. Rita

  8. I am writing this story on behalf of my son, Chris. He is 28 years old and he has owned his own home since he was 21 years old. His home is considered a 'historic' home by the city which was built in 1895. They have standards by which he must follow to keep his home 'historic'. Since purchasing the home, his personal goal or dream has been to one day renovate the home both inside and outside. He is a hard worker and I consider him a 'man-of-all-trades' but jobs and money because of the economy have not made it possible for him to put money into the house. On July 9, 2014 he lost his job and income due to a motorcycle accident caused by a hit and run driver. Both of his legs were badly injured, one very extreme. The road to recovery right now is slow and indefinite. But even if he walks again, and he is determined to do that, his job recovery is unquestionable. In the meantime, my husband and I worry about his necessity to maintain the house. He has always been a proud homeowner, it to him has always been a great accomplishment for his age. And with the assistance it would be one less burden while he is trying to get back on his feet. It would mean the world to us if you would be able to help him.

  9. Hi, I am contacting you for a really good friend of mine. She has been struggling to make ends meat until recently with her new job. Now she is doing everything she can to work as much as she can just to get by. She has animals that she needs to take care of and she cares more for others than herself… I lost my home and needed a place to stay she offered what she had to offer in her tiny 2 bedroom home. There are soo many things wrong with this house and she wants to fix up but she doesn't have the funds nor the time to do it. Her bills are through the roof because insulation and all the outlets are out of date. Which is causing her bills to be higher then they should be. Her kitchen is tiny and has no space for anything. Her bathroom has a huge hole in the wall that leads outside the ceiling is coming down and right now it just looks like a huge fire trap. Please help my friend. She needs help now.. She has helped many people now she needs it herself. Thank you

  10. I was born and raised in West Virginia. I am a 33 year old single mother to a wonderful almost 3 year old little boy. HE is my reason for living. My significant other and I have been together for 14 years. He is a wonderful provider, father and partner.
I have been through a lot in my 33 years. My parents were divorced shortly after my first birthday. My childhood wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't the as bad as some children endure. I saw and dealt with things no child should, however it was by far not as bad as some. I am thankful I had my Granny to guide me and keep me in church. She was my world. In July of 2002 we found out that she was in the end stages of cancer that had started in her esophagus and metastasized throughout her entire body. I was devastated to say the least. I was about to enter my third year of college at that time. I continued to attend college and help care for my Granny when I was at school and working my aunt would care for her. I moved in with her so that I could care for her at night as well. This was the most difficult thing that I have ever dealt with at this point in my life. I had never thought about not having my Granny prior to her receiving her diagnosis. I cherished every moment that I had left with her. At the beginning of November her condition drastically changed and we knew it wouldn’t be long be for she departed this earth. I was at this point physically and emotionally exhausted. Hospice was brought in and they stayed with us at her home 24/7 until the day she died. My Granny passed away on November 30, 2002. When she died a part of me died to. The night of November 29th I held her hand and talked to her for hours. To this day this very subject is very difficult to talk about. After her death I was lost, I started to go into a downward spiral. I was at a point in my life that I just didn’t care anymore. I was reckless and had no fear of anything, because I had just faced my worst fear of losing my Granny. I closed myself off from the people who cared about me, because in my mind it was too risky to allow myself to love and care about another person ever again. I was placed on academic probation the following year at school and boy was that an eye opener. I had to start counseling and therapy, which I was reluctant to do but at this point I was willing to do anything to get my life back on track. Through counseling it was recommended that I see a Psychiatrist, so I did, I was diagnosed as having bipolar disorder and medication was started. I was then placed in behavior modification therapy, and I was able to be taken off of my medication several years later. I continued to attend school through all of this and was off of academic probation with in a semester. However during all of this the program that I was in underwent national changes and I was lost in the cracks per say. I now had to go by the new curriculum instead of the curriculum that was in my catalog. Again I was devastated by the fact that I would not graduate on time and would have to continue to go to school. At this point I started adding other class and became a double major to be able to keep a full time status at school. I kept trudging along and getting discouraged because I could not see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. In the end I received a B.S. in General Science in May of 2009. My nine year stint in college has landed me in a financial black hole with a student loan debt of about 170,000.00$. I am struggling to pay back my debt and I am looking into getting a masters, because I can’t do anything with a B.S. in General Science. However, I am maxed out on my federal loans and my private loan debt is killing me. I cannot afford to pay for a masters out of my pocket and I am faced with some difficult decisions. I cannot get any more private loans because my father refuses to cosign for any more, and I can’t say that I blame him, he has already cosigned for over 75,000.00$ in student loans. I have no one else who can nor is willing to cosign for me even though my current employer will reimburse me for my masters. But I have to do something; my student loan debt is keeping me from marrying the love of my life, and joining the church I currently attend and love. We just can’t risk my debt taking both of us down. I am praying for a miracle, have been for quite some time. The good Lord has provided me with a decent job, a roof over my head, food in my home and a dependable vehicle. I am happy, blessed and grateful to have everything that I have. There are a lot of people who have far less than I do. I constantly worry about how I am going to send my son to school when I will still be paying for my education when he is ready to go to college. At this point I will be 70 before I get my debt paid off and I don’t for see retiring ever; I will have to work until I take my very last breath, because I won’t be able to put anything back for retirement until my loans are paid off. This is my reality and the reality of thousands of others who simply wanted a college education.

MY STUDENT LOANS ARE NOT ONLY STOPPING ME FORM MARRING THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, BUT THEY ARE STOPPING US FROM FINISHING OUR HOME. WE CURRENTLY LIVE IN HALF OF OUR HOUSE. I HAVE A MAKE SHIFT KITCHEN THAT I COOK OUT OF. MY SON STILL SHARES OUR BEDROOM BECAUSE WE CANNOT FINISH HIS. I JUST FOUND OUT TODAY THAT MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER HAS TO HAVE SURGERY DONE ON HIS ANKLE AGAIN (2ND ONE IN 7 YEARS) AND WE CANNOT MAKE IT ON MY INCOME ALONE. PLEASE HELP US FINISH OUR HOME. HOWEVER, AFTER READING SOME OF THE OTHER AUDITIONS I KNOW THAT THERE ARE OTHERS FAR MORE DESERVING OF THIS THAN US, BUT I CAN HELP BUT HOPE AND PRAY THAT YOU ALL COME TO HELP US TOO. GOD BLESS!! YOU ALL ARE GOOD PEOPLE WHO HELP OUT THOSE IN NEED AND WE ARE THANKFUL THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE LIKE YOU!!

  11. Hi I'm writing on behalf of my wonderful girlfriend. 12. Hello. I have Spina bifida and I am in a wheelchair. My two year old son, my fiancee and myself are in a two bedroom apartment that is not accessible for me.
I was wondering if there was any way you guys could help us. We are in Burlington Ontario Canada.

  13. Me and my husband zach are worried our house is to bad to live in with our 5 month old daughter. there is no insilation, plumming is bad, spiders everywhere and we cant get rid of them. our windows have to be propped open to stay open, our celler leaks causing mold down there. outlets sometimes work and other times dont. the only room in the house i feel safe in is my daughters room which is all the way upstairs while ours is downstairs. we cant take very many things up stairs because our stair way is just wide enough to walk up with your arms at your side. the ceiling going upstairs is so low alot of people hit their head. going out our side door there is a concrete landing that has a metal thing sticking out and trips everyone that uses it. our vents are where alot of our bugs and spiders come from and we dont know what to do. please help us.

  14. I am contacting you about a true Cinderella story, yet this princess has yet to be transformed. My aunt has given her life to caring for others. Her family, friends, children in the neighborhood, etc. She never married, never dated, never had children of her own, never learned to drive, never left home for even a daytrip until she was in her 70's. Now, she is battling cancer for the third time. We are trying to save her life. The doctor says her prognosis is good, but her home is killing her. It is old, she has lived in it for 50 years and took care of her parents until they died a few years ago. Now the room is falling in, there is no space to walk, the bathroom tiles have lost their color and are falling off, it is unfair for someone who has given so much to so many. The house next door should be condemned and the lot on the other side needs to be cleared. The house is only about 700 square feet. No sidewalk of place to get fresh air. She will give her last penny to someone else and now needs help herself. I know the community would be eager to help her but I don't know how to get it going. Please help save her life!!!

  15. My aunt & uncle has helped many people in this small town Allendale-Fairfax,South Carolina. They are the Pastors of True Vine Deliverence Ministry church. In the year of 2008 my 2 younger siblings and I were abonded. I was 12/13 years old , my sister and brother was 5 or 6 years old. They were both looking to me as if iI was their mother. My aunt was there at our rescue. All kinds of things were going on and I would love to repay her besides a thank you or i love you. I want to do something for them for allowin my 2 younger siblings and myself live with them for so many years. for just stepping up and playing the mother roll to us. My aunt & Uncle (Bishop & Prophetess)has been there for us and the church amil through thick and thin, ups and downs, everything. They have been talking about wanting to remodel the house where we live to have more space and a more comfortable home to reside in. its been cluttered since the day they came to our rescue. We have just invaded all there space. I would love for their dream house to come true. It would be such a blessing to them. I believe that it is time for someone to bless them for all the blessing they have done & still doing.
    Thank You all in advance!!!!!

  16. *********************************************
This is not so much for me but for my father. He recently suffered the loss of his father and mother and took it pretty hard. He still lives in the home that reminds him everyday of the good times but also the fact that his parents are no longer here. Not only that, he was getting bullied at work. It's to the point now that he's hospitalized. It may sound unbelievable,  but my fathers been victim to it for 8 years and recently he snapped.

The house is beautiful still after nearly 100 years since it was built, and by beautiful I mean it has an old school feel,  it has high ceilings, and it sits on a nice size lot ontop a hill with a view of Mare Island. But the rooms are small, the amount of electrical power supplied to the house is minimal and  there's no master bedroom. The neighborhood was built during the war and most of the other homes have been updated and remodeled over the years but not this one.

His mother, my grandma of course, maintained the yard. They lived together rather peacefully for most of his life, she cooked and cleaned and he worked and paid bills. But now all that is different.

I know that a makeover will help uplift his spirits. I honestly feel that if he had a master bedroom then he'll have more confidence to go out and find a woman to bring home. His room is not suitable for a man and a woman, it would be too cramped. He needs something and I believe home is where the heart is and if you decide makeover his home, you can help strengthen his heart.

  17. This house was built in the 1930s and is falling apart. My dad normally works 3 jobs to pay for everything and make sure that all the kids to do the things they love. But in August of 2014 my mother was diagnosed with RSD a horrible disease that makes your body hurt 24/7. She is on almost every strong narcotic there is and is still in pain. My dad has had to make ways to be home more to help take care of her and the kids (the youngest is 2) and then he got layed off at one of his jobs. His job with the highest income. He is in the military and a police chaplain. He has done so much for everyone at home and for the community and our country, but my family is drowning now in bills and a house that is falling apart. I am a flight attendant and I try to get home at least twice a month to help my family, and my older sister who is married and job hunting and has put a lot of things on her life on hold to help them as well. We love our family and they have taught us and so many other people about service, sacrifice, and love for others before yourselves. But this time my family needs help. Please. Sincerely the daughter of the family of 13.

My husband is an over the road truck driver and is gone Monday through Friday just to make a living for the both of us. He tells me one day all of his hard work will pay off when he builds us a handicap accessible shop house, a shop with a house connected to it so he can be near me. Ever since our accident he has always looked out for me. I really want to do something for him so he doesn't have to work so hard trying to give me something I need.

I thank you for your patients and taking time to read this comment 🙂

  25. Hi my name is Paciacee Thao but I go by Ceecee. I am 18 years old. I am a full time college student with three part time jobs to help out my parents since my dad had lost his job about almost 5 to 6 years ago.I have 4 brothers and three sisters. They are 21, 18, 17, 9, 8, 4 years old and a 6 months old baby. My mom works from 4 in the morning to 5:30 at night and she's barely home with my siblings. At the age of 13 I was always babysitting my siblings everyday from school. I never really had a "normal" childhood like all my other siblings since I was the one who had higher expectations to help my parents. I have three jobs so that I could pay for my own bills and help my parents take care of my younger siblings because my parents can't afford to really get them anything for the holidays or birthdays because of all the bills they have to pay since my dad only has temporary jobs.
This year my siblings has been asking for a room makeover because their room is full junk that no one really had any time to clean or organize the things for them to be able to have a more fitting room and so this year I have been working like crazy to get the money to remodel their rooms for them. I would work at right after school from 3 pm to 7 pm on Mon to Thursday, work at big lots from 4 to 10 on Friday to Sunday and Taco Bell from 10 pm to 8 am on Fridays and Saturday so that I could help my parents and make my siblings wish comes true.
We live in a house in Brooklyn Center. The house is 6 bedrooms and 4 levels. It may sound big but it really isn't. The rooms are dirty and scary because there is always bugs, spiders, mouse and other insects coming in from who knows where. My parents have been trying to pay off their bills so that they could afford someone to help but they just can't keep up due to my dad's job issues. The bathrooms has black mole in he ceiling, the basement is full of stuff that no one ever went through it and the kitchen is way to small to even call it a kitchen.
I worry that later on when my baby sister starts walking and crawling it won't be safe for her and my baby brother who is 4 years old. I am scared of their health and with everything that going on in the family would affect their safety.
Please, Please, Please, help me and my family. I want what is best for them because I know that I won't always be there to help them because I have to also follow my own dreams. I can't let them hold me education down but I can not also let my parents go through this all by themselves. Please help.
So now that you know a little of my background and what I do everyday.

  26. I want to nominate a foster family I work with that is having a hard time even as they are trying to help a child. I can't provide names unless consent is obtained, due to social services confidentiality. They were a disabled couple who took in a relative child when the mother, a niece by adoption, had mental health issues. Now only the foster mom remains. Both foster parents were on the waiting list to each receive a new kidney. Even with these health challenges, they had adopted other children and taken in other family members who needed care. Since neither could work full time, the home was already in a state of disrepair. Nothing updated at all. The husband received a kidney but it did not take well and he passed away. The wife was duped by an unlicensed contractor who tore out the kitchen and bathroom and didn't finish the job. The bathroom was eventually completed a year or more later. The kitchen has not been completed: there are no walls, counters, sink, or floor. Since then the wife/ foster mom has had both legs amputated. The house is not fitted at all for a wheelchair, not even the new bathroom, and the fire department has to help the wife out of the home three times/week to attend dialysis because there are stairs in the home. There is still no kitchen and really no way to pay for anything, yet the foster mom is still trying to hold onto her family with the help of her two older daughters. If this show is till in production, I would love to see them be a part of the show. I joked from the beginning that they needed to be on the show, before the loss of the foster father and foster mom became wheelchair bound, now this family really needs some help.

  28. My name is Misael I am 45 years old and I am a father of six children, however I can not give them the life they deserve because 13 years ago i had an accident while working in construction and I can no longer work because I have permanent disability and my wife doesn't work because she didn't finish high school and because she is barely learning english and jobs have been refused to her.My oldest son is 17 his name is Misael he is going into college next year and we recently bought a house and didn't realize the bad conditions it was in we have wasted just about everything we have just to fix it but it is just to much . My 16 year old daughter Kimberly is going into college next year and I don't really know if it will be possible because of our lack of money . I have two other children in middle school Julian,13 years old,and Giselle,11years old, they will also be going into high school soon . My other two children are in elementary Anahi,8 years old, and Cristopher,5 years old, Cristopher sleeps with us because there is no room to fit him in. Julian sleeps in a room that no one would actually want to sleep in .The bathroom are extremely nasty and even if we clean them over and over again they still stink because of the plumbing. The air conditioning doesn't work and you can imagine how hot it is out here in Arizona! I feel bad when my children say "dad its too hot" or"why don't you fix this" because I really can't do anything about it. I am sick with diabetes and I have done my best to fix somethings but with my broken back and diabetes and a broken back I can't. I would appreciate it greatly if you could give my six children a chance to live a descent life.Thank you for taking your time on reading this and for your patience.

  29. Hello Extreme Makeover Team,
My name is Kyla and I am a caregiver for a young man that has Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy. He is 22 now and he wasn't suppose to live past the age of 17. Him and his family live in a small 3 bedroom home. His father works 6 days maybe 7 days sometimes a week to support them and the mother stays at home while his sister is away at college. Getting him up out of bed with a hoyer lift and into the shower is a tight space but duable. This family is so full of love and I have grown very fond of this family and if there is one thing in my life I feel like I am meant to do, it is to help them in any way possible. I want to make them comfortable and any way to make it easier to help him get ready. He loves his video games which is a great way to exercise about the only mobility he has left to use. This family does not have much money to reconstruct the house. I would love for them to be able to get him around without any worry and for him to be able to go outside on the deck if he wishes. I am reaching out to you to help me help this family and young man and for him to enjoy life easier of the little life he has left. My heart aches for them and they have become a second family to me. Please help me help them. Thank you Ty and to your team- Kyla the Caregiver.

  30. My hubund and I need a house really bad I am his care giver he is blind and in a wheelchair. I am asking for you help please.

  31. My husband & I adopted an infant five months ago when he was born. We were given an indescribable amount of clothes and things a baby needs. From that we created Issac's Closet, a revolving closet that collects and donates clothes and needed items to desperate moms. Our home is in need a desperate repairs. Nothing bigger, just repaired. But what we need more than anything is the ability to have room for all the donations we get so we can continue to grow and provide the needed clothes and items to moms who are in desperate need. Each mom we minister to has their own situation from homeless and living in a shelter from previous abuse to the fourteen year old mom who was raped but chose to keep and raise the baby with help from her family, the mom who found out she has cancer and is 7 months pregnant and is the sole bread winner but will lose her cancer battle and has little help. These are the women we reach. We are working out of our 1492 sq foot home that we live in with an active baby. We step around items and stacks of clothes. I mend and wash and clean everything that comes in the best i can. Just having our plumbing fixed and the mold removed and the garage converted so that we can have more space that is sanitary for our organization would allow us to reach so many more people. I know it is a long shot. Our home looks ok from first glance. But dig deeper and you see the issues. We will fix it when we can. But right now the organization takes our time and there are those who live with far less. I had an emergency back surgery from a collapsed spine and then another when it failed and i face three to four more. I do not even get disability but i do get the privilege of staying home to raise my son so i cannot complain at all! I have been so blessed. We can live with it as is but the organization needs its space to be able to continue. We have lots of space on our lot. But without me working i can only rely on the help from others and the need is outweighing the donations and the space. I want to do as much as i can while i am physically able so i can teach my son how to be a humanitarian. I will eventually lose the use of my hands and possibly my limbs. But until then i am doing what i can to give back and pay it forward. It would be a dream come true to be able to see this organization become a major contributor to helping moms and babies survive.

  32. There are many comments of people giving you sad stories of why their house should be on extreme home makeover. Along with theirs here is mine….my name is Debbie Logan , I have 4 children I have recently been through a divorce and I am working two part time jobs tying to make ends meet. My boyfriend and soon to be husband , Chris and 3 of his 5 kids moved in with us. We are trying to make room for everyone when our living room floor fell in. At first we thought it would be and easy fix, but soon realized that our whole foundation was sinking and there was a stream under our house from rain water. Also under my oldest daughters room was a pond of sewage that had been there for awhile harming her and the rest of my families health. We are working on fixing it when discovering a sink hole and another pond of water under our house. We can not afford very much help and are having to ask the older children for help that they struggle to do Currently we have 2 bed rooms , a kitchen , and living room that 9 people are living in. I have two children under the age of 3 and find it very hard trying to keep them out of harm. My youngest , 18 months, had fell in a hole, but luckily wasn't hurt. It is October and I am worried we will not be done by winter and my children will become ill. During my last marriage there were many projects started and never completed which have caused many expensive problems now that we discovered our foundation is sinking. While working on fixing the house we found brown recluse and black widow spiders. This has caused another problem and constant worry I have every day. If one of my children get bit I don't know how I will be able to afford the medical bill and still be able to provide food, shelter ,clothing and continue working on the house. Extreme home makeover, my family drastically need your help.

  35. We are a happy family of 5 who just bought a home in San Bernardino, CA this year (August 2014). I am a counselor, Youth Coordinator at First Pres San Bernardino, a runner, and a happy mom and wife! My husband John-Paul is a credit Officer at a small business bank in Southern California, a dedicated dad and husband, and active in our church as well. We decided to move to San Bernardino because we want to live where we work. We love our neighborhood, have family nearby, but desperately need a new roof and better windows, as well as a bit of a touch-up in our main living areas. With 3 kids (5 and under) it's hard to make the time for the house when spending quality time is important to us. We have busy schedules but have a love for each other and our neighborhood. We want to see it thrive as hard times have come upon the city since its declaration of bankruptcy. Your help would be a welcome blessing to this thankful family!

  40. Hi my name is tasha. I am writing the show because my sons kindergarten teacher is in need of a makeover on her house. Mrs. Chirilla and her husband have had 12 children their own and have raised over 200 foster children for many many years. She also has been disabled her hole life. She has two prosthetic legs. has been a teacher for 30 some years. Also she has adopted 3 or more sets of siblings. Also the school she works at is called Temple Christian School. this school is a small net school. there is more to tell but not enough paper to write it all. Please contact me, for we are trying to surprise her. I can explain more over the phone. Please look over and let me know. I am going to try and make a video also. thank you tasha.
P.S. her house is only a three bedroom and has over thirteen children living at home.

  41. I will like to nominate my mother for extreme home make over. My mother a very strong women has help raise countless number of family members including me and my two brothers. She moved me and my brother as a single parent away from the tough streets of Cleveland,Ohio when we were teens to Florida,New Orleans, and finally since 1990 to Charlotte NC where my mother made a living and married. She moved her two younger brothers and mother out of Cleveland and took care of them. Over the course of the last five years things took a turn for the worst for my mother first she was forced into early retirement from a company she was with for twenty years. One year later her husband my stepfather died. Just as my mother started to be able to deal with life again she found out that she has lung cancer. Thankfully her cancer was treatable as she went through surgery and kemo treatments . She is steady recovering and growing stronger everyday. Now my little brother who she had when I was 21 who had high hopes of playing football has been unable to play anymore do to a heart condition the family just found out about. On top of everything she has remaim hopeful but over the years her house has been falling apart with her trying to take on repairs herself and trying to still help family members. Im afraid now because of her current health issues that the house may not be safe because some of the repairs she paid for was not done at all because she swindled by crooked contractors. If ABC would can you guys please consider my mother for a home makeover. thank you.

  42. Please? Winters in North Dakota can mean life or death. These guys are living in their garage with a new addition on the way and many more hospital visits to come. This little boy is only beginning life but will need special care for the rest of it. A life threatening illness on top of life threatening allergies that keep him from being a kid outdoors like other children.

  43. Hi, I would like to nominate my sister , Lynette McGill from Hopkinton, RI. Lynette truly deserves this because you could search the whole country and not find anyone with a bigger heart.
We recently lost our mother after a long battle with cancer. My mother leaves behind a 34 year old mentally challenged son, as well as a 32 year old special needs daughter. ( Josh and Lisa). Lynette, without hesitation, accepted the challenge of being Josh's conservator; and immediately began fighting with doctors and the system; and now Josh has been reevaluated, taken off all those stupid meds, on a different cocktail that seems to be working better for him. He is now in a group home , has a great case manager, and functioning for the first time in 15 years.
Lisa and my mother were closer than close. Taking her from my dying mother must have been harder than hard. Lynette stepped up and never complained. We buried my mother two days ago, and Lisa is doing AMAZING. Thanks to Lynette. Lisa will not be walking much longer; she has already been fitted for a wheelchair. The house is not handicapped accessible ; and quite frankly Lynette has always put herself last, and deserves not to worry, for once.
I talk here about Lisa and Josh; but the fact is she is known ( and teased) for taking in people in need. When she had next to nothing herself… It's just her nature.
Lynette has struggled for years, forever , really. She truly is a shining light in this dark world; I will be praying you pick her- there is no one more deserving…

  44. Hello, my name is Lynette (Burbine) McGill. I am 40 years old and live in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath raised ranch in RI with my fiance and his 7 year old son. Although the old house is in much need of many repairs – this is not why I am writing.

I am writing because I have recently taken in my 32 year old special needs handicapped sister Lisa due to our Mother being terminally ill. (Mom just passed away last week). Lisa was born missing the fibula bone in both legs and as a baby, doctors said she would never walk and wanted to amputate both legs. My Mother found a doctor who agreed to save her legs. Lisa has been wearing leg braces her whole life, but now she is not walking that great and it won't be long before she can no longer walk at all. I have a wheelchair for her, but due to my house being a raised ranch (stairs at every entrance), Lisa's wheelchair sits at my front door and she crawls up the stairs and through the house. Even if I could get the wheelchair upstairs, my rooms and hall are too small for her to use it in the house.

I have never asked anyone for anything – in fact it's always been me lending a hand to everyone else, even if I don't have much myself. For the first time ever, I find myself needing to ask for help. I am asking to be considered for an Extreme Home Makeover in order to have a handicapped accessible home suitable for Lisa and her needs. If I am unable to make my home handicapped accessible, I fear in the future I will be forced to put Lisa in a special needs group home which I have vowed to never do to her. With her special needs includes very limited speech and most people have no idea what she's trying to say. She also cannot bath herself, wipe herself, etc. I strongly believe family takes care of family – but I do need help to make this happen. I truly hope from the bottom of my heart you will strongly consider me for your show in regards to Lisa.

    Sincerely, Lynette (Burbine) McGill

  45. Last July 2013 we found out my husband had stage 4 lung cancer he passed away 6 weeks later so not only did I lose the love of my life but the extra income. I had to clean out my savings to get a car that would get me back & forth without falling apart so there is no extra money.
My bathroom the tile is coming up the shower door is rusted & the mold is so bad ,my backyard fence is being held up by wire & boards I am trying to keep my dog from getting out & the shed is hardly standing as the doors don't stay on & it's just all rusted.
I am not asking for a hand out just a hand up

  46. I would like to apply. This may be my only chance to have my children back. 2 years ago I had my youngest son(jeremiah) and when i hadhim doc left palasenta inside of me . It put me in hospial. Theyre father left. I was left with my three children no job, no income, home going under eviction, sick and to make matters worse my childrens father had got with another women . I became extremely depressed. But i fought through my pain heart ach. I ended up loosing my home, everything i owned , no car, no where ti stay. I was the glue who held my family together so when i lost my home so did my mother my two brothers and my 3 children. I had no where to go and I called childrens grandma (on there father side) and asked if she could keep them just intill I found somewhere. I was hoping to still see my children. but to make matters worse they kept my children from me and began to train my children to call there fathers new girlfriend mom. They are bot together anymore but he has gotten with a new women and they are to call her mom too. I am so broken hearted. I had got a job after loosing my home at a restrant but to make matters even worse …. I worked 3 mths there and never recieved a check. News got out and they shut the store down. After that I met a friend at that job and she let me stay with her for a while. but now i am living out a suitcase. I go place to place . My children miss me and are broken hearted and i am as well . I had a daughter 7 yrs ago and she died That was the hardest thing in the world i have ever been thru and this would be the second. I have spoke to lawers . judges all they can tell me is once i get a home I will be able to be reunited with my children. I have always been there for everyone i could. My church has prayed and prayed and even open there doors every once in awhile because they know my story. Know that I am where I am it effects so many people. Its really like a domenoeffect so to speak. I feel a little embrassed putting my story on here. But if that what it takes to show my children , family, & church I am doing"everything" I can to fix this. I will. Ive tryed everything there is. including shelters. God and you guys are my last hope. I hope this reaches you. and hear from you soon. although to see Ty haller out my name. I would probably fall on my face and praise god cry Just thinking about it is making me cry. Thank you who ecer you are for reading this. I hope and pray to hear from you soon. God bless

  47. I want to nominate my home. My husband and I live in Toledo OH we have an older house beautiful at that old red wood floors most of the house is wood flooring we moved in not knowing any of the issues and have been troubled since by it all. I'm currently pregnant my husband lost his job and we can not pay for anything my husband was in the army before we came here. Due to me continuously getting sick my husband had been worried about getting a job and wants to go to school. Our homes front door has gaps all around it our house is always freezing cold, there are rooms within our home that the electrical doesn't work so we have to run extension cords around. Our bathroom shower has no fixtures you have to turn the water on from the outside of the shower get it right then shower then get out and turn the water off the bathroom has no vents for the steam and the paint is peeling everywhere the electrical here does not work. There's no way to take a bath due to the over flow is not attached to anything and leaks down by our front door plus no faucet. Our sink in our kitchen drains to a pipe in the basement that stops above a hole and grate in the floor and is always getting clogged. We live our home but with the electrical and the other issues its hard living here since moving in I have been sick non stop. Our home has been invaded by mice and spiders I have seen quite a few brown recluses in our home. Please help us!!

  48. We are a family of six living in a three bedroom home. the two bedrooms are about the size of a jail cell. which we have two people living in each room. one bathroom to share between all of us. there is two elderly people that need more room to hold their necessary needs. We have just enough to barely get around. The house is old and needs repairs. Please help us get more room. No room for Wheel chairs and other. We are asking for your help please. We all can not afford to live on our own so we live together in this very small house.we are praying for your help.

  49. First off, reading through the comments it's sad to see how many people are struggling in their life, and I know my chances are low; however, I hope someone at least takes the time to recognize this. I'm 16 and live with just my sister. We only have each other because our family is broken a part. My sister and I live in our old house that we grew up in, but there has always been issues with it, and we're tall people so everything feels like it's for midgets "haha" that was a joke… Anyways.. We've always watched your guys show since we were younger, and thinking how great it would be to finally recive help instead of giving. I'm in a club named SOL. We go helping the community, but I'm one of many. I would put how exactly we got to this point in life, but it's too much to write. It's a mess really, but my sister and I push through because I know things could be worst. I hope these other families get some type of help that you guys seem to need. Thank you for at least giving me a chance to write a bit.

  50. Hi my name is Ann MeShell and I couldn't find the application so I decided to leave a comment. Now this may sound a little strange but, my mom works at a church and she teaches 3 year olds but the play ground is not the best and we would like to know if you could redo the playground. I don't have a picture of the play ground but the play ground is near some woods and its not very big. There is a fence around it. I understand if you can't help and I know there is a lot of other people that you can help. This is really important to my mom and she is trying to get donations for the play ground right now so she doesn't know I'm doing this and you if you can't help I understand. Thank you for your time and get back to me when you can, thanks :).

  51. Hi this is such a big ask and I know that the show does not go overseas but I thought to try anyway. I would love to help my mum have a makeover on her home. My mother raised my sister and I on her own when my father died when I was two. So ever since then my mum has worked all her life to support us even until now at the age of retirement she still continues to work to pay for bills and food. When bills come her way she struggles but she always manages to pay for them not missing payments because she always makes sure we do not go without anything. My mother works so hard she works as a home carer for the elderly. She looks after so many people that sometimes it would be nice for her to be looked after. So that is why I thought of your show it would be such a blessing for your crew to come to New Zealand to help my mum out with fixing up her home. I know for you to receive this email and for you to accept what I am asking is a long shot. But, I have hope in your show because of so many families in need you have helped. I hope and pray to hear from you soon that you would accept this international challenge God bless.

  52. my name is Taylor and i live with my boyfriend and his parents and they live in a 3 bed room trailer house and it is falling apart bad the floors are falling in and the walls are coming a part the bath room is really bad her father left this home to them so they would have a place to live she lost her grandma 2/3/2013 and her dad 12/4/2013 she took care of them to end she goes to cowboy church and on top of that she home schools us kids her husband is a truck driver he is gone all week just to pay the bills she is like a mother to me and i could not ask for more …..the house is so old we fight aunts all the time on top of every thing else she never's ask for any thing she just tells us god will help she never gives up on faith so if you read this please help me help her for all she has done for me.

  53. My name is Rebecca Boone, Daniel Boone is my son. He wanted to write in to say what we needed but after I went on your site and read some of the testimonials, we are living alright. I know he was going to talk about the foundation. Which I look at as being lucky that it only in the back half of the house because we still have 1 bathroom instead of 2. Some don't have that. I may be one of the lucky ones. My house has other issues, but thank God for everything.

  54. Hi. My name is Kyra Crawford i attend Virginia State University and i an writing this because i have a soft spot for my grandmother. Shes almost 90 years old living in a small trailor in Florida. When she was younger she lost her husband and 2 of her children in a car accident. Last week she lost another child that died from a blood clot and domestic violence. She just stopped working at the daycare now she is always home by herself. She is ob oxygen which she needs 24/7. She had bad pains in her arms and cant lift heavy objects and so alot of things. Im not sure if this is the application but its a start for me. I cant continue to see my grandmother grieving and in so much pain.

  55. I am writing you on behalf of a very close friend of mine. Her name is Lorilee McLean. Lorilee is a Community Outreach Worker in our Community who is continuously giving to the children in our community and doing without herself. She has four children – two grown sons – on their own and two teenage daughters still at home. She raised these children as a single parent in a loving home doing without a lot of conveniences we take for granted. She recently has reconnected with a former high school sweetheart named Gerald who is a loving caring man. Lorilee suffers from Crohns Disease and Gerald has had a kidney transplant in the past and suffers from a myriad of illnesses. Lorilee does a fantastic job managing her household on very little income. A couple of years ago she was able to acquire an older home that requires a lot of rennovations in order for it to be the home she and Gerald can retire in. With all the medical requirements for both her and Gerald and two teenage girls she is unable to do the many upgrades required to make her home efficient. With mounting costs for heating an older home that requires new windows, insulation and siding along with a new roof she is struggling to make ends meet. Mind you she keeps her home immaculate and takes great pride in things looking nice. One example of how giving this woman is, I recently was very ill and had to have surgery, she came to my home daily and cared for me, as well as cleaned my house as if she doesn't have enough on her own plate. I would love for her to be a candidate for an extreme makeover and see her have the home she, Gerald and the girls deserve. There are many rennovations that could be done in her home as it is an older home that hasn't had anything updated or repaired in a very long time. Please consider this family, it would mean the world to me!

  58. Our names are Isaac, Summer, and Chelsey. Our mommy's name is Jessica McCroskey and she is 27 years old. She was diagnosed with cancer in December 2013. She has had three rounds of chemo including the outback trial study and two rounds of radiation. Cancer Centers of America and Wake Forest Baptist Hospital have told her that there is no cure. Mommy has stopped treatments as of now due to it making her really sick. She decided that she wanted quality of life rather than quantity. Mommy was diagnosed in North Dakota and Daddy packed us up in just a couple days and moved us to Virginia so that we could get mommy treatment and be close to family for support. Mommy and Daddy had just finished our dream home in North Dakota and we got to live there for twelve days before moving. Daddy had bought an investment property in Virginia prior to mommy being diagnosed with cancer. The plan was to fix it up and rent it or sale it. We now live in the house and Daddy is working around the clock to finish it. We want mommy to be able to have her dream home and enjoy life with us as long as she can. Daddy is working so hard that he doesn't get a chance to spend time with mommy or us. Our brother Isaac is staying with our Grandma because the house is too dangerous for him to be with us. Please help us finish our house so we can spend time with Mommy and Daddy!

  59. Hi my name is Vannessa Little and I feel i should be apart of this because I have been homeless for almost a year and a half now me and my family has been going from house to house to stay with family members. 63. Hello extreme makeover, every season I watch and cry as you make life's just a little bit easier. I know I'm no home town or community leader and I hardly ask for help. But in this case I could really use a lift up in life. I have been through a lot in my life, but I never let any of that stop me from being kind to everyone. I was married once and was put through more stuff that no one should be put through. I do however have three beautiful children from it. I just married a good man who loves me which I thought was never going to happen. I also have my mom and her boyfriend living with me and recently let my brother move in to. I don't mind I love all these people their the only one's in my life but it gets a little crowded in our what's suppose to be a two bedroom. Granted it's definitely better then spending the six weeks in a hotel room like we all did last year. I recently had someone come out and do an estimate on the roof (12,000). Before he left he said I hope it holds through the winter it's that bad. Between the roof the electrical the plumbing the floors and all the normal bills each month I'm slowly starting to debate if we will make it. So as I said I don't like asking for help but I'm truly out of options and I'm not asking for a bog fancy house or a week's vacation just a little bit more security for my family. Thank you!!!

  64. Hello. My name is Shelly. I am 45 y/o with 3 grown kids and 2 grandchildren. My two younger kids still live at home and one of my grandchildren live with us. May 18th my grandmother got sick and I had to miss a lot of work to move in with her and give her 24 hour care. My mother lives next door and we were my grandmother's only 2 caregivers. Sadly my grandmother passed away September 27th. She left me with a house that is crumbling around me and because I missed so much work, I cannot afford all the repairs. If I got contractors involved I'm afraid they would condemn my little house. The eaves outside are crumbling, there is mold, and a vine growing in the corner next to the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. The wood floor in the common area is sinking away from the concrete floor in the kitchen. The back porch is crumbling. The well water smells like rotten eggs when you wash dishes or take showers. Some times I smell natural gas in the hallway and bathroom. There are natural gas space heaters in the living room, hallway, and one bathroom. Window unit air in living room and bedrooms and because the windows open sideways, there is a big gap in one of the windows.
My grandmother meant the world to so many people and I would like to honor her by keeping her dream alive. She worked hard her whole life to keep this place a legacy for her family to carry on. She did so much volunteering with the VFW Post 9095 ladies auxiliary before she got too sick. Her husband passed 34 yrs before she did in this house and her son died 24 yrs ago in this house. My grandmother was in the hospital 2 weeks before she passed.
I would appreciate any help you could give us. I want this property to be a legacy for my family. Thank you.

  66. I would like to nominate the VFW Fayetteville, NC. The North Carolina Veterans of Foreign Wars has a rich tradition of serving veterans, military families and their local communities. VFW Post 670 has Veterans from the Korean War, Gulf War, Operation IRAQ Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom just to name a few. Some have been Prisoners of War and Medal of Honor Recipients. The building that the VFW Post 670 is an old building that needs so many new updates from the electrical to the floors. Bathroom could really also use an upgrade. The building host many events so that the Post can give back to the Community. It is a place – a home for the Veterans to gather together and exchange their war stories, their pain and yet still find time to give back. On Friday evening they have their steak night which is one of the events they have that help them to raise money. On 10 Oct they will have a cancer Aid Research Bling Your Bra Event. These Veterans fought for each one of us and they continue to give back to Our Community. What a way to give back to them and our sons and daughters who are currently fighting overseas as they are our Veterans of tomorrow. Fayetteville is home to so many military both active and retirees. Our Base is Ft Bragg, NC Home of the 82d Airborne Division, United States Special Operations Command, and Joint Special Operations Command. I hope your Team will really consider doing a Makeover for the VFW Post 670.

  67. I would like to nominate my best friend, Amanda Neck from Marysville, LA. Her husband that she had been with for 12 years left her with 2 kids and one on the way. It's hard for her to find a job and pay for a babysitter without any help from her ex-husband. The house she is living in is livable but it's only 2 bedrooms. She just had her baby so now she has 3 kids under the age of 10. She has no hot water. The sewer pipes and hot water pipes are busted. The house needs to be updated. It's an old wood frame house. She can't afford to pay her water bill because of no income. She's been getting help from family. But all she wants to do is to be able to work and provide for her kids. I really hope you would consider her. She is not looking for a hand out. Just help. Thank you for your time,
    Lyndsay Varner

  68. I have been to the website half a dozen times, and finally decided to write! We built a beautiful home on 4 acres in the early 2000's. My husband oversaw the whole project and hired all the workers. What a nightmare, to say the least. Anyway, we finally moved in, house not completely finished, been thru some major ups and downs. We built this home with our son in mind. He was hit by a car (pedestrian) when he was 5 (almost 6) and was in a coma for about 4 months. He had to learn how to walk and talk, and do everything all over again. At the time we lived in a very old double-wide mobile home. We knew we had to do something to be able to continue with his rehab and therapies when he came home from the hospital. We built a ramp coming into the house, extra wide hallways and doorways for his stroller and/or wheelchair, and walker, we put in an elevator (which does not work correctly – stairs very dangerous), we designed his bedroom and bathroom to accommodate his needs. Well, we have had many problems. The basement began a musty smell we couldn't find, it kept getting worse, windows were leaking, we could smell mold, and then we started smelling sewer. I went into the basement last week (completely finished) and noticed mold – the carpeting is molding, and I can smell it upstairs. I can smell sewer inside the house-don't know why. Our son has a traumatic brain injury and a seizure disorder. I can't stand him living in this environment. I have soar throats, trouble breathing, I am worried for him. My ultimate goal for this house was to turn it into a Living Facility for Traumatic Brain Injured (TBI). We can easily get 10 beds in here, plus have respite for weekend families. We (TBI families) here in Washington are quite a group: We work so hard for our kids to give them the best life possible, and they need a place to live somewhat independently as they get older. It's amazing how many of us are caring for our adult TBI children because they have no place to go where they can be nurtured and understood. I don't know what to do. I feel the house is falling down around us- I don't want to lose it and lose our dreams. I'm reaching out. God Bless

  69. Hello Homemakers,
My Name is Jasmine Hill, I'm from a small town called Bellevue in Ohio. Over the past few years a lot has happened in this small town. We've lost a lot of close friends this past summer and it was extremely hard. My family has over come a lot of obstacles as well. As a young child I my parents spilt. It was rough growing up but I couldn't thank my step-dad enough for accepting me as one of his own. As close nit as this small town is its crazy how fast news spreads. Such as my mom, she was recently diagnosed with MS. Its a disease that attacks the nerving system. I'm not use to seeing my mom in a lot of pain. She can barley make it up the stairs without her crying. My mom is also losing her eye site. Its crazy looking at your mom one day everything was fine and she felt great and could go to the zoo and see everything to she can barley move and no eye site. One part thats bad for this disease is to be stressed. Every time you see my mom walk into the house its just a clutter mess. She always stressing how everything she sees just stresses her out. I try to clean and throw stuff out and she still cant bare to look at our two story house. People in bellevue love my mom. I go to work at east of chicago and its crazy to see everyone and ask aren't you Jamie's Daughter and how is she doing and even all the little kids that she's helped in the past because she's a teacher. Which is even harder on her because she cant even picture the faces anymore. My mom has helped out so many people in her life and has offered to take a couple of my friends in when they lost their parents she's just someone who has a big heart. I'm a 18 year old daughter who sees my mom struggling with this disease and seeing my medical bills from my three ACL surgeries in high school come in and now seeing how much my mom has to pay for treatment is just crazy. I wish I could help her and this is the only way I know how. If this isn't for us I know my mother is strong and I know my community is strong and if we got this opportunity to help my mom out one time it would be a gods gift. But if we didn't get this life opportunity I know another great family will. Please contact my email address thank you so much for your time.

  70. Hi. My name is Brittany Brock and I want to tell you about my parents. My dad, Henry Sasser was diagnosed with an aneurysm in the aorta of his heart in 2009. After much deliberation, he decided to have the surgery to repair it in July of 2010. The doctor made an error during the surgery and it left my dad paralyzed from his chest down. During his long hospital stay, he developed bed sores, which are common for paraplegics, and was required to have several more surgeries to graft skin to cover his gaping wounds. Since then, his condition has become worse. He has contracted MRSA, a form of staph infection, SEPSIS, which is an infection of the blood, and osteomyelitis, which is a bone eating disease. He has endured several surgeries to remove infected bone and continues to receive daily treatments for his conditions, accumulating bills that my folks cannot even begin to afford to pay. Now let me stop and backtrack. The same summer that my dad had his surgery, my 14 year old sister became pregnant with her first child. Since then, she has had another daughter, both of which live with her and my parents. My family lives in a single wide, late 70's model, non-handicapped accessible mobile home that is literally falling down around them. Even with repairs done here and there, it is not enough to sustain my folks. The roof leaks. The walls have holes with very little insulation, and mold growing inside them. The floor is beginning to sag under the weight of my dad's wheelchair, and there is simply not enough room for a handicapped man and all of his supplies, my mother, sister and two small children under the age of 3. I have turned to many other organizations praying that they might be able to help my family acquire the type of living conditions needed for someone in their circumstances, but everyone I have turned to has turned away. I am asking not for myself, but for my family's sake, that you might see fit to help them obtain the handicapped accessible home they need for my dad, as well as a home big enough for their family. It would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Brittany Brock

  71. Hi my name is Ruth and I am writing on behalf of sister Carol.
Carol had a brain tumor when she was 13. She had to learn to walk, talk and use her eyes together. The doctors said she wouldn't be able to drive and had doubts about her going to school past high school. She is a very determined woman. She got her drivers license at age 18. She graduated from college with a bachelor's in Communication/Theater and she will receive her masters in Business IT in December from Jones University. She hopes to be able to start a consulting business from her home. She can't travel much as she no longer is able to drive and suffers with arthritis.
Two years ago my brother-in-law Ray lost his job. Being over 50, living in rural southern Indiana and in this economy he was unable to find steady work until this year and it is only part time. Her oldest son has had to move back to the house and helps the best he can.
The house they live in was inherited by Ray. The house has a lot of issues that make difficult for them. There are leaks throughout the house. The basement floods every time it rains. The septic system needs to be updated. They had a part of the house that was collapsing demolished. Right after the demolition Ray lost his job and they haven't been able to haul the rest of the debris away. My sister just turned 63 and doesn't need to live this way. She needs a house that will keep her warm in the winter and cool in the summer not the other way around. I would like to see her have some time in her life when it wasn't a struggle just to get through the day without something else falling apart. Please help my sister, she is the one that has kept me going through all my struggles. I can't help because I am 75 miles away and have severe monetary and mobility constraints. Thank you for your consideration.

  72. Hello my name is Kimberly Euton and I am reaching out with one last desperate attempt to get help for my parents. On September 15, 2014 my parents fell victim to an Arson crime against thier restaurant "Caledonia BBQ", losing their only source of income. The worst part about everything is that it was under contract to be sold. The sale would have made enough money to pay off medical bills, debt, and put my father in a position to retire. He needs to be home to take care of my mother who had a stroke less than a year ago. They earned this retirement through hardwork and dedication to their six children. Always providing clothes, food, a comfortable home, and most importantly teaching us to love the lord. So it saddens me to see that their "Happily Ever After" was just ripped from them so violently. Even though they have insurance, the company wants to drag their feet on the payout. Meantime, income is not coming in, repairs are not started, jobs are lost, and worst of all–the buyer walks away leaving them no choice but to file bankruptcy! So if you can help in anyway possible to get Caledonia BBQ back in business, It would mean the world to all of us. Did I mention he makes the best BBQ the world's EVER tasted!

  73. Hello my name is julio and I am in the prossses of getting adopted with two of my sibling by this wonderful family. This family has five other biological kid/ siblings. My step dad works any home but sometimes it gets too loud, we cut the family room in half to make his office. There are ten people in this house and everyone shares a room except the two small rooms. We are trying to get one more teen age kid in our home but it is too small. My mom and dad are the best, they try to keep the house together but moust of the time something doesn't go right. On December 7 my siblings and I are going to get adopted but that alsow means that we won't get the states anymore. After that my dad will bearly make enough money to provide for us. We all have hand me downs because in this family nothing goes to waste. My perants are always stressing out about stuff like food, clothing, and other stuff. The house that we live in is bearly staying up and can bearly fit ten people. It would be nice to have you help out. I just want to show my foster perants how much I love them and appreciate what they have done for us. They litterly saved us from starvation, sickness, and they saved me from suicide. They are the best but the house we are in isint. They want to keep adopting more children but they won't let them because of the size of the hause. That makes me sad because all these kid won't get the chance to have a mom and dad to love and support them. I just want to let you guys know about the situation we are in and if you guys can help, it will change many peoples life's and in this case children's lives. I know it will help because my perants changed my life in so many ways. Pleas help us and We will help others.
