My fiancé and I are getting married next May . I've known him since I was 12 years old. We want to remodel his moms home who wants to give it to us as a gift. The house was established in 1996. It has a lot of features that does not make since. She wanted us to have the house and told us that we could remodel it . I want to create the perfect home for my fiancé and I that is suitable for both of us. Need someone to help merge our personalities together within the home. Being that we are getting Married it would be expensive to remodel the house and get married. Thank you so much in advance .
A couple weeks ago the most amazing thing happened in my life I met my soon to be sister in law for the first time as did my Fiance he had never known of her for 25 years and was searching for his uncle when he finally found him it was a blessing but it quickly turned into a nightmare when we found out she was being evicted from her house for a disagreement with the owner they only had a week to move out my sister Jayme and her fiancé Laura and their five kids all under the age of 7 have a piece of property that was previously owned by a "collector" and the two houses on the property aren't even livable they are filled with items that do not belong to them and they have black mold and mouse feces everywhere the trailer in the back was originally going to be their house and the one in front for my fiancés uncle but under strenuating circumstances my sister is about to lose three of the five kids in her custody and is currently in a battle for two more babies cps has condemned the houses unlivable my sisters have looked everywhere for loans and help and the doors keep slamming in their face they have no credit to fix the one house and no credit for another trailer that is good she is looking at losing all her kids because a landlord has no heart her oldest two have never lived out of the house and three of the kids are adopted two of the kids have mental and behavioral problems but they are all well behaved this is a good family please if nothing is done they will be out on the streets

My wife and I both work but we live pay check to paycheck. Their are so many others worse off than we are but I thought it wouldn't hurt to submit an application. Please consider my family when reviewing these submissions. Thanks for your time and keep up the good work. I can be reached at the email address listed.
Hi, I'm writing about my parents house. Im 18 and in college but still love at home and have a little brother who lives there also. We have been going through a lot since my dad tranfered to another job at work and quit because they lied to him and treated him wrong. Now he works 2 jobs night and day and my mom works also. We lost our house and had to sell it because if we didn't it would've been foreclosed on. Now we're living in a mobile home that doesn't even belong to us which is basically a piece of junk. There are holes in the wall, no air condition or heat (it gets extremely cold during the winter), no sink in the master bathroom, the front door barely opens and closes, and etc. There are plenty more issues. And now the owner of the mobile home, which is my parents niece, is trying to get the house taken from us and then we will have no where to stay. My dad works so hard and barely gets 8 hours of sleep a week. It's hard and I try to help out but Im in college and can't do much because I'm limited in the money department. So I wanted to ask you guys if you could help my parents out because they are stressed out 24/7 about money and the house and just want the best for my brother an I. Thank you for your time.
My friends family that I have grown up with live in a one bedroom house and there is 5 of them living here there bathroom is ripped apart from water damage. There kitchen is caving in and leaks every time it rains. The all 3 kids share a room in the living room. And the floor in the living room is falling at a down hill angle. There mother is a stay at home mother. And there father just hurt his back and can't work.currently scrapping by doing what they can. There house is there home but just to seem living like this I wish I could help. So please consider heling this family with a big heart from a small town ohio. Thank you.
My name is Anita Haggard I'm writing this for my niece Jessica Self on July 7th 2014 she lost her husband .he was hospitalized with pneumonia in fact it wasn't pneumonia that took his life he had heart disease ! After the shock of her 32 year old husband passing ! On July 23rd Her 2 year old daughter Lilly snook outside and climbed in the pool just 16 days after her daddy passed away we lost Lilly ! Jessica has 3 children and she was a stay at home mother her husband was a truck driver and his passing not only left her with devastation of loosing him then loosing the baby and now with payments of a house that the light bill is outrages needs a new septic in the worse way but she doesn't want to up root her other children! My sister , her husband and there 2 children moved in with my niece so that Jessica would be able to make the house payment and the electric!
My family and I have had a rough couple of years. We have been evicted twice because of job problems. Our main focus has been our children. We were able to find a house to live in and we currently just have taxes to pay but the price is large. I am in fear that this house is going to fail on us. During the winters I have to make sure the windows have plastic up because some are old and have no storm windows. Some windows are still broken. I do not know if my house is properly insulated but I do not believe it is. In the winter it gets rather cold and my gas bill gets really high because my furnace has to be on at all times during the winter. I pray each day that my basement walls hold up and the floor in the basement holds up because water backs up during bad storms. I started a nice job in March of 2014 and I have recently started a call center service from home in attempts to make more money to save. I have two children 9 and 4years old. I would like to see if my family could get help. I will continue to build no matter what because I will do anything I need to do for my family. I just get a little fearful when the temperatures get really cold because my children can get really sick. I have a brother and sister in law that lives in my upstairs room and they have a baby on the way. I would like to have a better living quarter for them as well just to help them until they are able to be on their own. I understand sometimes its difficult that's why they live with me. It was either live on the street or come stay with me. I chose to let them stay with me. I am really struggling trying to help his new growing family and mine but I do what I can. I would be so grateful if I win the help.
Thank you in advance Raymunda Moore
I am writing to your show regarding my grandparents and their home. My grandfather recently passed away. He was 93 yrs. old and was married to my grandmother for 55 years. He had 21 children and he is survived by 19 and also my grandmother. He has over 60 grandchildren and over 50 great grandchildren. I wanted to share with you why my grandparents’ home should be nominated for the show. My grandfather was a God fearing man. He never got a chance to finish school due to his father died when he was a young age and he stayed home to help his mother keep the homestead going. He was the only child left of all of his siblings. My grandfather not only raised his children but he also help most of his kids raise their children as well including me. I never knew my father but I really didn't miss out on a father figure because my grandfather was there to step in and help my mother raise us. My grandfather always kept his kids and grandchildren in church and made sure that we all knew who God was and how much he loved us. He always told us that family is important and no matter what happens we have to stay together and stay strong as a family. He was a big figure in our community and everyone knew him as a great family man and a hard worker. He was very compassionate and would give a person the shirt off his back if the person really needed it and had no one else to turn too. He was very giving, loving, and kind. He raised his own vegetables, and some farm animals until he could not take care of his large garden any more. He was the cornerstone of my family. The family home which still stands today is the second family home due to the first family home was burned down. It was built by my grandfather and some other family friends on the same plot of land that his parents had their home built on. The home is paid off and is in much need of repair. My grandmother and two other family members still stay there in the home but are unable to pay for someone to remodel the home and they tried to get the VA to pay for remodeling the home since my grandfather was in the Marines when he was in his early 20's but was unsuccessful. There is one room my grandfather tried to add on to the home to add more space to the home due to all the kids and grandchildren who were still there at the time but was never completed and this was over 20 years ago. The kitchen is the same original kitchen and lay out as when the home was built in the late 60's early 70's but needs complete repair due to the cabinets are no longer able to really hold dishes, cabinet doors are gone, the stove only works partially, the kitchen sink needs replacing since it is the same original sink and sometimes leaks. The floors are no longer in good condition and needs replacing. The bathrooms need to be completely remodeled so they are handicap accessible for my grandmother, aunt, and uncle. The door ways need to be widen in the house as well as the hallway so that my grandmother and aunt will be able to go through them with their wheel chair. I am praying you all will be able to help my family get the home remodeled due to this is much needed and would help my family keep the home in good condition as well as help keep a place to stay for family members to come home and stay when we are all in town for the holidays and our annual family reunion. I look forward to hearing from your show. Thanks in advance!

I am asking for help from you, ABC and Extreme Makeover Crew. I am 48 and for 41 of those years I have been on Insulin as I am a "Brittle" Diabetic. My husband, who is 50, is a type 2 Diabetic with Heart Failure. I have a 23 Year old Asburger's son living with me and then I have My recently Medically retired Seargent son in law with my Daughter and of course the BEAUTIFUL grandchildren. My son in law spent his time in the Army and Iraq/Afghanistan in the communication sector. 2 weeks ago, we learned that the reason MY FIRST BORN has a hard time walking and Speaking sometime is because she has a very aggressive form of Multiple Sclerosis. My son in law ins attending college to become a Pathologist and carries MANY hours of college. I am medically retired with the Diabetes and also in charge of the children and grand-children when things get out of control. We all Live in a Three Bedroom 2 bath home that is 50 years old and is no where big enough, or in the proper shape for all of us…. HELP US PLEASE!!!! This family is STRONG, but the tight space is very difficult.
My mama could use your help with her house. She is trying to provide housing for her two daughters and 4 granddaughters. In a three bedroom house that is in bad shape. It has mold around the fireplace, and the floors are very unlevel. We are trying to fix it but Mama is disabled and Daddy had to retire early because of health problems. One daughter works part time and can not find more work. The other daughter stays at home to take care of parents and kids. We all have bad medical problem. Mom sleeps on bipap and both daughters have to sleep on a bipap and Cpap. Please help me make the house safer for my mom and dad.
My family could really use your help. My family of 5 have been living with my mother in her 3 bedroom home for the past year and a half after our landlord decided to sell the home we were living in and giving us 10 days to find other arrangements. We have 3 children under the age of 11 all in one bedroom. One of our daughters had a health condition that requires us to travel 228 miles to the Children's Hospital once a month. She also goes to physical therapy twice a week and has to do her schooling online at home. She has a medical condition that even her pediatrician had never heard of! It's call CRPS/RSD. CRPS is short of Complexe Regional Pain Syndrome. In a nutshell it means that she is in pain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It never stops. It started in February 2012 in her left leg. Since then it has spread to both legs, both arms, and her face. It is considered one of the most painful medical conditions there is. She feels as if her body is on fire, being crushed, or being stabbed all the time. There is no cure. With medication she is able to manage her pain most days. It NEVER goes away. It just isn't quite as bad some days as it is others. It has stollen her short term memory to the point that she can't function in a regular classroom. She is 10 years old and in the 5th grade. There are times she can't remember how to add simple numbers she's forgotten people, places, even going places. If she doesn't maintain her physical therapy regimen then her muscles will atrophy(waste away) and she will lose the ability to walk. She has to use a wheelchair when we go somewhere that requires a lot of walking, and a shower chair to bathe. My husband makes good money with his job. However, with medical expenses and two other children to care for, we are not able to save money for a down payment on a new home or pay for repairs on my mother in laws home that we can have. Her home is falling apart. It doesn't have a ceiling in one room, no heating or cooling, the roof is falling in and leaks horribly in several room when it rains. She has given us the option to live there but until repairs are made it's not fit for anyone to live in. With the help of your team we could repair the home and bring it up to a condition where we could move our family into it. All our belongings have been in storage for the past year and a half. With our daughters health being like it is we need more space then two bedrooms. We need a home with wheelchair access I just incase our daughter stops being able to walk on her own. Please help us.
I am writing concerning my mom and dad. They raised 5 children and helped with their grandchildren. They have worked hard all their lives. A couple months ago they were asked by family to take in 4 children ages ranging from 3-12. They are in the process of trying to get them. They recently got a call about another 2 children. 6-8 months and a 3 year old. The new born is deaf. They live in a 2 bedroom home.

Hi, I am in South Africa and even though I know that the show has not yet come this far I am still just taking the chance with applying for a home makeover. My husband and I have two children, we got ourselves into a lot of debt and had to move into my aunt's granny flat. We started getting on our feet and my mother needed a placeto stay because she lost her job. So we sacrificed tohhelp my mom, once my mom got stable we had my sister in law move in with her two boys because she was in an abusive marraige and needed to escape. Now we finally have our home back but its falling apart. My aunt wants to sell because she can't keep up with the repairs and I'd love to buy the property and fix all the problems but unfortunately I don't have the money to do this. I've recently been retrenched and its been so hard trying to find another job. The worry is getting to much, we wonder if the roof is going to cave in because there's water damage and we have one plug point in our entire flat so the constant fear of electrical fires is a problem. We cant cook and boil the kettle because it trips the lights. The property is full of rotting wood and the foundation isn't level, my flat is a hazard. My daughter is 9 and she wants to have sleep overs and play dates but unfortunately I can't allow this due to space and the possibility of the flat crumbling. I need help to support my family, I know I don't own a home but I am a concerned mom that just needs a safe place for her children. I am desperate at this point that is why I am asking you, I know that its a long shot but I can only hope that one day my prayers are anwered.

My mom and dad really deserve this they are great people that others take advantage of and hurts seeing them so stressed about not having a place for us because our house ain't gonna last much longer and whose gonna help us then when we have nothing. Please they deserve help they are the most amazing people I could ask as my percents. Thank you in advance even if you don't choose us.
Hello my name is Crystal I am 26 years old I have a 7 year old with asthma and a 3 year old that was born premature so she has rsv problems. I just recently got married to a great guy that works his but off to provide for his family, I too work full time and go to school online. We live in a 3 bedroom 2 bath mobile home but it is not in the best condition. Our ac does not work properly, the sewer is overflowing, we have crackes and holes. The outside of the trailer has mold growing on it which is not good for my childrens health. My husband and I work so hard to provide for our children and our selves this is all we could afford and had to put a roof over our heads. I do hope you will consider helping us out so we can continue to give our children the best environment to keep their health in good standing. Its hard enough with the weather change and seasons for them to breath. Thank you for your consideration. Crystal V
Hi my name is grace. I am 15 years old and I am writing to you for fear of losing my grandma . She and my grandfather live in a house they remodeled themselves but they never got to finish because when there eldest son died at 19 years old. He was killed in a drunk driving accident . He was not the drunk driver. As they got older my grandmother started having major health issues she has diabetes and when she went in for a knee replacement they took her blood and found she had an extremely high white blood cell count . She was then sent for testing and they diagnosed her with chronic lymphoma leukemia . She went through chemo for 6 months and it's now under control . My grandmother is now 64 almost 65 and can barely walk because she has lymphodema which causes her to fall because her legs sometimes can't hold her up . Yesterday she fell and no one was around to help her . She was outside for a half hour on the ground screaming for help but no one heard her . Finally one of the neighbors hear and helped her up and inside . My grandmas house isn't finished at all. She has a bathroom downstairs with a shower in it but the shower doesn't work because the bathroom isn't finished . Some of the walls in the house aren't finished as well. Because of the bathroom being downstairs my grandma has to walk up the stairs with badly functional legs and then back down . I'm so afraid that she might fall down them . My poppop works part time so he doesn't have the money to pay for anything to fix . And he can't work full time because he is getting old as well. I don't know where this family would be without my grandparents . They've helped everyone in the family so much . From letting my dad stay here and me . Letting my cousin stay here with her three kids and boyfriend. And taking care of me and my cousins when our parents are unable to. Please help my grandparents .
I am a rapper from south africa and I really want 2 help yall out I'm 15 years turning 16 years old and I would really really want 2 help the people that is going tru tough times so please I want 2 help??????? 🙂

Hello,
I'm contacting you because a friend of mine needs y'all help. Her name is Cortney Odom. She lives in Waynesboro, Ms with her husband and her 5 year old son. Her son Tucker got Spinal Meningitis when is was 8 mths old. The doctors kept misdiagnosing him with an ear ache. Later, they discovered that he had Spinal Meningitis. The baby had a few major surgery and has made some progress. He is still fighting the seizures that he's having due to the spinal meningitis. He is disable all because of this. He is a very sweet and loving kid. His parents, family and friends are truly blessed to have him in our lives. The family is having to steadily take him to have test done and I know that this can drain a saving and banking account. They truly need help so they know that their angel will have what he needs.
I'm asking for help for my friend she is a single mom of 8 and has just found out that she is pregnant with twins now. Her youngest child was born with heart problems and they all currently live in a 3 bedroom home that is in desperate need of repairs. Her father was her help until he unexpectedly passed away 1 1/2 years ago. Please someone help her.
Hello my name is Vanessa Avila, I'm from Portland texas & im writing you for my parents. The sweetest most well knowned married couple in our community. My mom works at the cafeteria at the junior high school(has been there for 8 years) and volunteers at our friday football games. While my dad works for the city of portland (has worked for them for as long a I've been alive and I am now 27 years old) he also works overtime every night to spray for mosquitos around our town. They will do anything and everything they can for a person but they struggle everyday for themselves. You see my mom used to work three jobs when we were younger to help support her family (me and my twin sisters) while my dad has been a hard worker his whole life. . . .My two sisters & their families are now living back with my parents due to life struggles and my dad is now having to sleep on the living room couch because he has giving up my parents bedroom for my sister to have. Well not to long ago a gas pipe broke and they spent over $3,000 to fix it and just yesterday a water pipe busted and their house was flooded with water seeping to all the bedrooms! I have really bad allergies and i cant stay in their house more than 30 min because my eyes start watering and hurting, i know they have mold it is a very old house. Not to mention they have a really bad roach/rat problem that they have been trying to take care of for years but just cant seem to fix. Im so afraid for their health and there well being and thats the reason why im writing you today. My parents deserve better and dont have the money to make it better. They need your help and they dont know that i am writing to you but i Feel its all i can do for them & hope and pray that you choose my parents and help them live in a more safe and liveable home. . . .
Sincerly,
A concerned & hopeful daughter
Hi, I'm asking for this makeover because I've married to my husband for almost two years now and we are a blended family of 7. My husband is in the military so we were lucky enough to get a home of our own (our very first home). The only thing is since owning this home we have has issues we have found black mold in nearly every wall in the home and here where I live there is no professional to remove so we have had to try and do it our selves. Because of the mold my now 11months old has suffered many breathing problems and starting at 6months he had to use a nebulizer to breath. The realtors said there is nothing to be done because there is no prof it was there when we bought the home. Looking at our home you wouldn't think it had it but all the green board that we have up would tell u other wise. We spent a great deal of money into this house so now we facing even more debt just trying to get our home into not just livable but safe so we aren't sick. I'm grateful for the oppertunity to ask for your help.

I am a single mother of 1 child that is 2 years old, we have been through a lot these past 2 years. When I was pregnant I ended u being diagnosed with Preclampsia and had my son at 33 weeks. He only weighed 3 lbs 7 oz and had to stay in the hospital for a while. Since he was a baby we have been in and out of the hospital for surgeries and his asthma out of control. Since I'm the only parent he has in his life I've lost my jobs many times. We had to move out of the house we lived on, which is on land my family owns due to mold and the floors needing to be replaced and many other problems. Which was not safe for my son or my self. It seems like we can't catch a break for nothing, and Now I'm working two jobs and trying to make ends meet.I believe god has a plan for everyone in this world and everything happens for a reason. Just have been trying to hold everything together for my son just seems hard most days. We are really needing a makeover, so I know my son has a home thats ours.
Thank you for your time…
Hi I wanted to see if you guys could surprise my mom with a house makeover. 2011 she lost her daughter @age33 due to breast cancer. Now she left raising her 4 children. Her health started to decline due to lung issues it forced her to get disability cause she could nolonger work and currently waiting for a lung transplant. 2012 her son passed away @31 years old due to an heart attack and was left raising his 2year old son cause his mom didn't want him. She has five kids in the house with three very small bedrooms and bathroom she is now using an electric wheelchair and is on oxygen. She can not get around with the chair so she walks around in the house which has her out of breath. It would be such a blessing to have her being able to get around in the house and more space to raise her grandchildren. Thanks in advance and is looking forward to hearing from you guys thanks again

I thank you so much for all that you do in the world, and taking the time to view our application. My family really needs this home makeover. My husband and I have two boys, Charles 5 and Anthony, 2. Anthony was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) about a year ago. This is a nuro-muscular disease and he will be in a wheelchair the remainder of his life. He is so intelligent and just an angel. We are currently living with my husbands foster dad in a double wide trailer. It has been really hard to find handicapped accessible housing that will fit the whole family. My husband has not been working in order to take care of Anthony so with our price range it is nearly impossible. Once again thank you.
Hi my name is charles wilcox and I would love to have help in giving to my wife a make over on our home. My wife and I devote all of our time and finances help raising our children and grandchildren. My wife and I have been married since sept.26th 2003, we met on the internet and I moved 3and halfhours from all of my family to sacrifice to be with the love of my life. My wife and I always put our family before us. I have a daughter with aspbergers and adhd that my wife adopted her after we got married. My wife and I both I injured our backs at work. I was a pop merchandiser at 7up and my wife is a nurse in labor in delivery. I lost my job to workers comp and now work with the disability in there own homes part time so I can be home with our daughter with asphbergers. I've tried different jobs but she doesn't do well with change so I work part time to make it easier on her so that she functions better at school bc my wife works long hrs at times and schedule can change frequently without warning.my wife and I adopted and raise our grand daughter. We have a child at bowling green college that we pay for him to attend college. We have a 26 year old that lives at home with hdh and has a hard time keeping a job bc of his dissability but does not get social security so my wife and I fully suport him. He has a son and we too help support our grandchild. My wife injured her back falling on her tailbone at work and has a stimulator for pain implanted in her buttocks to help block nerve damage bc nothing they can do for her tailbone. She has been told she can get disability but continues to take pain meds along with stimulator bc we could not make it on my income and her disability. We almost lost our home twice. Once when my injury accured then again after mine when she fell. They found a tumor when thy did mri rapped around her spine. Thank our Lord Iit came back not cancer. We have three daughters of one is our grand daughter we adopted. And we have two sons and three grandsons. I am 36 and my wife kelly I 47. We coucouldn't afford a wedding, she was married prevously and felt bad we couldn't aford a wedding bc I never had a wedding. I've always wanted to take her on atleast a honeymoon but never could offord it, actually she eould love to take her kids to disney world. If I could ever afford it id love for tht to happen just so I could see her smile bc she give everything she had to her kids and grandkids. We took our money we recieved from our injuries to pay off bills and almost losing our home twice while being off of work, I was off for couple years and fighting workers comp.I hope u were able to get through all that bc the most reason id love for this dream to come about is bc we've tried to remodle ourself and spent all the extra we had and now projects are left not completed and id love for just to be able to give her something bc she sacrifises and will give anyone the shirt off her bck. We just live for our kids and live in our meens can't afford vacations but we have one another. I tottally understand if u pick someone else im just thankfull u took the time to read my story. Thank u so much.. I hope to hear from u soon.
Id love to surprise her. Thank you

MY MOM AND STEP DAD NEED THEIR HOUSE DONE … HOW CAN I APPLY
Hi, I grew up watching this show always knowing that your helping people who couldn't do it themselves. And i personally never thought I'd be the one asking, but i am. I am 16 years old. i live with my mom dad grandma and 2-3 siblings. Currently only 2 because my sister is at basic training. My dad has many medical problems that make it extremely difficult for him to get/hold down a job. He threw out his back years ago trying to stop a car from falling on a coworker of his and has suffered ever since, and due to the fact that never been able to afford health insurance, hes never fixed any of the problems that came with it. My mom works as often as she can, to try and pay the bills; but its hard. She was also recently in an accident that dis-aligned her spine, causing her sever pain. Many of her medical conditions are neurological, including Epilepsy, depression, anxiety, and chronic migraine. My grandmother can no longer live on her own, and hasn't been able to for awhile. About 3-5 years ago she suffered a fall and broke around 7 vertebrae in her back along with her arm. Me personally, haven't suffered any major injuries, but suffer from anxiety and horrible chronic migraine, along with my mother. I recently started working to attempt to help with the overwhelming expenses. My little siblings,Charles and Sarah have their own problems too. Charlie was born with a defective lung. and he now lives constantly coughing and wheezing, all because he only has one lung. Sarah at only the age of 9 has been diagnosed with P.T.S.D. This makes everything a challenge. This is everyone who CURRENTLY lives with me, in our (originally 3 bed 2 1/2 bath) house. Seven people in total when Sam my older sister returns. The house we live in is a cookie cutter house. One that was made to only last about 10 years and as of now its 17 and falling apart. all the walls are cracked, its caught on fire multiple times, the foundation is cracked and causing the house to shift and break. there's constantly mice or another creature running around. the inner walls are starting to rot away thanks to the part of construction where they neglected to put a moisture barrier on the walls before the siding. The overall condition of the house is horrendous. the roof above our attic has holes where it leaks, where we have fallen through the flooring. There's a crack running through the floor underneath the tiles and flooring. its to the point where my family's health is being compromised and is becoming worse and worse. Pleas please please help. I cant stand to see them all suffer the way they do. The feeling of helplessness has crept in on all of us, but i refuse to give up. Thank you for taking the time to look at this. Sincerely the entire Davis family.

My family and I could really use some help with our home. Not long after we bought the home we started having plumbing prolbems (drainage to be exact), prolbems with the windows not shutting correctly and found out that the A/C was too small for the house. The siding was not of quailty and started warping. My son has only one working lung and now my mother in law lives with us and has many health problems including COPD and has broken many vertabret in her back the house is not very accessable for her with her walker and not accessable at all when she has to use her wheel chair. My husband has a bad back and he nor I can lift my mother in law when she falls in the bathroom. We need help to make our home a safe home. My husband and I have walled off the loft and even the garage to get enough room for everyone to have a place but that in its self has created a safety hazard as we have to use space heaters to heat our room (the garage) and that has almost caused a fire several times. Please help, Thank You

We are the Schulze family. We currently reside in Durant, Ok. In may 2013 my wife's dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. We have 3 children and my wife was pregnant with our youngest during this time. She spent the entire summer in and out of the hospital with her father taking care of him. Our due date was supposed to be August 24th 2013. Early on at week 8 of pregnancy my wife spotted. The ultrasound tech at 11 weeks said her neck fold was measuring big and it could be a sign of a chromosome disorder, the obgyn was out of the office and the NP and tech were saying she needed a specialist but instead called the obgyn and he said to come back the following Monday where he performed the test himself and said we only had like a 3 percent chance and didn't send us. On July 8th my wife noticed our daughter wasn't moving, on instinct she went to our local women's center and monitoring showed our daughters heart deceling in the 70s. We were only 33 weeks 3 days. They could not tell what was wrong so they decided to take her. Her first night of life she was careflighted to Baylor hospital in Dallas tx and was intibated 6 times. My wife was in college pursuing nursing, I work 50-60 hours a week as a warehouse assistant. Nothing could prepare us for what we were about to go through. She had a grade 1 brain bleed, echo revealed a vsd, ASD, and an open PDA, she could not tolerate any liquid by mouth and she would have seizures where she would turn blue and stop breathing. She failed the state acid test 3 times for severe combined immunodeficiency. She had a paralyzed vocal cord and malacia. We decided to go ahead with a trach and a g button. We had medicaid in Oklahoma but were in Texas because this hospital was closer. After they put all this together they checked her calcium levels and decided to do a fish test. It came back positive for 22q11.2 deletion aka digeorge syndrome. We could not apply for home nursing out of state so we had no choice but to send her to Oklahoma city, Ok to a rehabilitation center. From there things for worse. She has ghas gerd so we had to change to continuous feeds and switch to a gj tube that bypasses her tummy. She refluxes and cannot swallow due to pallet abnormalities so she aspirates. We then after rescheduling due to sickness 6 times finally had a vascular ring repair surgery. She is currently 3 hours away and our other two children are 5 and 6 so we don't get to see her all week long, she has been there a year now. Donations have ran dry and we are on one income and cannot afford to move and pay rent on a house. We recently applied for the home ventilator program and I have a nursing company ready to help get her home but she was denied. She is on cpap mode and will be strong and breath on her own for a while but she gets tired and falls back, and has a weak immune system and bronchomalacia so when she gets sick she requires vent support. We want her home more than anything and have fought foe her every step of the way but we aren't close enough to a Childrens hospital and where we live now my dad owns it and we pay mortgage to him. We are desperate to be there for our daughter, and to be able to get her home. She will she 6 specialist and her diagnoses include: grade 1 brain bleed, vsd,ASD, vascular ring, dyspagia, trach gj tube dependent, low t cells (she can't have live vaccinations) and takes bactrim 3 days a week, she has developed chronic lung disease from pneumonia so much, asthma, bronchotracheomalacia, dysphagia, gerd, so far. She is scheduled for a Nissan fundoplication but it has already been rescheduled twice due to sickness and we do see a craniofacial team October 17th. I know the show is about makeovers but I just had to try. The one thing stopping us from moving is we cannot afford to pay rent especially with the type of home that will be required for her to have. She is currently at the Childrens center in Bethany OK and her Facebook page is Facebook.com/prayersforbabybrooklyn We need a miracle in more ways than one 🙂 thank you for your time.
I'm writing this in behalf of my mother. We have been going trough hard times. We all work hard but do to the economy our income its not what it use to be, do to that her house is in forclosure and in need of repairs. I dont know what our future holds for us, we have been trying to get modifications on the house but all the applications have been denied. Its hard to even sleep at night knowing we can get evicted at anytime. My mother dont know I'm writing this, all I want to tell her is that everything is gonna be ok. Please I hope you guys can help our family out.GOD BLESS.
I have watched your show many times and have been overwhelmed with the heart felt concern you have for the people you help. I am sure that thousands ask for your help everyday, and it must be hard for you to choose. I have a younger brother with a wife and 7 children still living at home ages 3 and up. they live in a very run down trailer with an addition that the boys share that leaks .. also there are holes in the walls and floors. My brother is disabled and my sister in law is unable to work to bring in any other monies because of the cost of child and daycare. so all they have to live on is Jr. disability and food stamps. These kids have lived a tough life. but my brother did the very best he could to give them what they need in life.. he is unable to do work on the home for lack of money it takes for the repairs. I would give anything to see the looks on those childrens faces to walk into a home where they finally don't have to share a room that leaks and is so cold in the winter months. words can not show you how much this family needs an improved home. not asking for something that cost a whole lot. just something that they can be proud of. these sweet children have dreams and ambitions too. A nice place to live may encourage them to dream big and give back to others some of the kindness that could be shown to them. I could take a video of this place if you would like. If I could I would do this for them, but I am just getting by myself. I am praying that
God would move your hearts to take a closer look at this one. This family deserves to have at least one good break in life. thank you for your time.
My mom Kay F Odom home caught on fire last year a week before Thanksgiving she is living with my baby sister in her trailer behind her home the house is still standing because she has no money to rebuild my mom is 80 years young and never had a home she can really call her own her mother had that home built in 1945 my mom is in need of her own home can you help her please.
My parents are in need of a new home due to mold growing in the roof everywhere, where it has leaked for years. When it rains or snow melts my parents have to put out about 12 bowels and pots to catch the water. The water has rotted the roof out so bad that it is falling down on them. It is rotting the floor where it leaks, separating the two trailers due to warping, and just makes it so stressful for my parents to live. We have tried repairing the outside and inside of the roof several times and it just don't work. There house is two trailers put together about 35 years old. My parents don't work as my mom is disabled and has severe COPD that jumped two to three stages in just a few months from have the mold and dust in her house. My dad use to work but has worked so hard his whole life to make best for not only his family of ten but others around the community as well. My parents are the type to give up everything they have to give to someone else who may need it. Right now my parents have my oldest brother and his girlfriend living with them and my elderly grandma has to come stay a week or so at a time so my mom can help her shower and keep her going (grandma don't want to live in a nursing home). My parents are to shy/embarrassed/good hearted (they think others can use the help more) to ask for help themselves so my sister and I are asking for help for them as a surprise to them. The trailers are also so small with our large family for holiday dinners, we can barely fit in it all together. Mom has all the dinners at her place and wouldn't want it any other way. We are hoping you will take them into consideration so that my mothers health can improve and my families stress about her health can disappear, so she can continue on being the extrodanary person she is. The mold an dust are going to eventually kill her as she is on oxygen full time now due to the jump in her health. Please take them into consideration as we are in a small community and don't have many options.
My son, Stephen Gipson is a disabled veteran; suffering from a closed head injury and has problems making sound decisions. He was sold a home that is basically uninhabitable. I am asking for any help with making his home liveable.
My nname is Justin Diamond. I'm 39 years old and currently live in Memphis, Tennessee. I'm writing this for my older brother Steve Diamond. I grew up my entire life as an only child of a single mother. My mom and dad were divorced when I was 16 months old and I never knew my father. My mom would tell me how my dad was a famous stuntman who doubled Clint Eastwood for 17 years. He's doubled Paul Newman, Robert Redford, Clint Eastwood, Elvis Presley, Charles Bronson, James Garner, and many more! He was responsible for helping to organize the stunt guild in Hollywood. I got some info from my mom, and using people search, I was able to find my biological father after 37 years! The part that was difficult was finding out that he's dying of terminal stage 3 prostate cancer. It has spread into his hips, spine, and back. Nobody including my dad think he'll make it through the winter of 2014. I had gone to El Dorado Springs, Mo in July of 2013 for a week to meet my father for the first time. Talking to my dad I found out a great deal about my heritage on my dad's side. I found out I am one of 7 kids. My oldest brother Bobby in California, my oldest sister Storm and my brother Shane in Washington, my brother Chris and my sister Kim in Missouri, my brother Steve in Oklahoma, and me in Tennessee! What a blown mind I had! I've met all but Storm and Shane. From the moment I met Steve we've been tight. Brothers for sure. Steve is a gulf war combat vet living in a beat up house in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He owns the house, the land, and the house next door that is vacant and also in serious need of work. The bathroom floor is caving in, the sink in the bathroom doesn't work, the house is in serious need of repair! My brother works 2 jobs and teaches when he's not seeking another degree. My sister – in – law Dana goes to school and works 1 sometimes 2 jobs, and my nephew Layne goes to school and works. No one has the time or money for home repairs. Please help me give my brother, a vet with a big heart a proper home. Thank you,
Justin Diamond
In 2011 I was shot t1-t2.I struggled for almost three years to get a doctor due to not being as to get medicare even though I was receiving my full SSA of $743.that left my mom as the only one to take care I'd me because I am only 35 and she refusers and I agree I do not want a nursing home.due to no doctor I've had to suffer thru the pain and anxiety and I don't think I can take much more. I've been in the bed for a year.a solid year cause my mom can't lift me and my motorized chair doesn't work and it hurts me to set in it.I do not even have a manual chair.I can't set up straight due to my injuries I pass out.our home well trailor is falling apart.elexrtrixal fires and floors gone AMD my poor mom has been doing what she can to care for me.due to no insurance for almost threw yearsy legs have drawn up and. Can't be straightened. We both get 742 a month but I also have kids to care for and other bills and medical supplies. I am a NAVY veteran and am writing to ask that you please help my in laws. I have seen that your program has a latin version and that you go to mexico to help people. My in laws had the misfortune of their house being burnt down twice in consequence of other houses burning close by. My father in law is in his 70's years old and is retired. He worked two jobs to support his 6 children. My mother in law is in her 60's. She has a makeshift store where she sales soda, chips, candy, etc.. to help get by. She also sales used clothes an often times gives it away to people in need. The house is in desperate need of fixing. The front gate is corroded and not very sturdy. The house consists of three actual rooms. The living room, kitchen, and bedroom. My father in law made an effort to build a second floor however I don't consider it to be properly built or safe. The house has 2 doors none of which have proper locks the windows and not in great condition. One does not have the glass and others don't close properly. The kitchen has only two outlets and the cabinets are beyond repair. There is no hot water in the sink faucet the roof has serious water damage. Every time it rains the roof leaks. The bedroom is where my in laws and my brother in law sleep. The roof is not properly covered it's just wood beams. The bedroom has a door that is not being used and is only being covered by cardboard. This room is where the bathroom is located. It is not closed all the way the sink is not connected properly its drains through a cut water hose into the shower. The shower walls are falling down and the floor is sunk in. The living room has a window that does not close properly. The laundry room is outside and is covered by laminate roof. When I visit My husband, daughter, and I sleep on a mattress in the living room. There is three people living in this house. They are very loving people that had tragedy hit them twice. They are not in the best monetary standing. I would greatly and forever be in your debt and thankful.
my daughter near drowned she is on lifesupport she has been on it for a month and they say she has to have a four bedroom house when she comes home she has to be on a vent please help

Hello.. my family and I need this home makeover. I have 3 children. 2 boys and a girl. My daughter has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy. We bought a run down trailer before she was born. We've fixed it up a little but we need to add additional space for my daughter. We don't have room for her equipment and the next step is getting her a walker. Well we don't have the room for it so we can't get the gait trainer. We also need to add some disability accessible ramps and wider doors for her to get thru. Please help us to give our daughter the best life we can.. we would be forever grateful. We just don't have the money to do this. Please help us. For our daughter and more room for our boys!!
My husband and I have both of our mother's living with us. My mother has Alzheimer's and his mother is 89. We live in his mother's home as she will not live anywhere else and is unable to take care of herself. We also have a 13 year old daughter and a daughter in college. The home was purchased when my husband was a baby so it is 54 years old. We had bought a lot of stuff to start remodeling and my husband had a heart attack and suffered an anoxic brain injury. We are still in the hospital and he is not able to begin rehab so soon I will have to take him home or he will go to a nursing home. Please help me remodel the home for a person with a severe disability so I can bring him home. I will take care of everyone if I can bring him home. Not many people survive from an anoxic brain injury and he has and I truly feel in time he will gain some motor function and will get better but no one knows. I have been unable to locate a charitable establishment to assist. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Jodi Steele
HI,
My name is Ginger and I will be filling out an application as soon as I get done here. I feel strange applying on my own behalf but, since I became ill I have been left to deal with everything alone. I have spent my life helping everyone from my parents, sister, brothers, friends, relatives, strangers, any child, and I did this because that is who I am and I love to give of myself. I need help now.
I am needing this apportunity for a home Makeover for my parents home. My dad is the only one working because my mom is disabled because she has type 2 diabetes, and she was told not to work. My dad pays all the bills and he still struggles. He wants to make his house feel like a home, but he can't only bringing home 1,000 dollars a week and most of it going out to food and home bills. Their home is slowly falling apart, the roof is leaking, and he has tried to fix other himself but he doesn't really have the time when he works almost 90 hours a week. I really just want my family to feel at home, and feel happy and less stressed. And having their home actually feel like a home would be amazing. I am wanting this for them so badly. If we get picked, it soils mean the world to all of us. We also have a pool in our back yard that hasn't been open in 6 years because my family doesn't have the money to fix it. And the pool would be a great thing to just get rid of but my dad doesn't have the time or the tools to do so. Please pick us. Help me make my parents happy!

Hello, my name is Crystal Williams. I am writing about my mother and father.. Barbara and Charles Williams. My mom is 62 and my dad is 63. My parents have been together for over 35 years. They have also been living in the same house for the over 30 years. About 28 years ago my mother's sister was murdered inside of this home. Both my mother and father have tried to get approved for another house but their incomes are so low that it was almost impossible. The house my parents live in is so old, it gets extremely hot in the house even when the air is on all day. The insulation is completely gone. When it's cold out, it's cold inside of the house. The floors are caving in. It's so tiny, I just want my parent's to live comfortable as they are older now. They should be retired by now, but it's almost impossible because they are trying to save up for another house. It's terrible because my siblings and I have no way to help my parents because we all have families of our own. Please make my wish come true and help my parents. Thank you so much.
My parents live in a small town in Northwest Missouri. A couple of years ago a tornado destroyed their shed and garage. Last Tuesday night lightning struke their home and garage. They lost everything. They barely got out of the cellar. Both of their vehicles were in the garage and they blew up. My brother, Travis is severely handicapped. They are living with a widowed neighbor in her basement right now. I've been checking on prices to rebuild and it is way above what the they will get from insurance. My dad is in his 70's and still gets out and clears the roads for the neighborhood in the snow. He has been a big help for his neighbors. They need help. Thank you for your time.
I'm writing on behalf of our Family, the Riggs. Our youngest of 4 children has been diagnosed with an extremely rare blood disorder, called Fanconi Anemia. She was diagnosed at the age of 6. Her diagnosis was on March, 2014. We were devastated, we were beside ourselves with grief. Her bone marrow took a direct hit from her sickness. Just after only 4 short months of her diagnosis, doctors told us Her bone marrow had completely failed. She would die if we didn't take action. He recommended a bone marrow transplant. She was put on the National Bone Marrow registry in hopes to find a match. In just 2 weeks, her doctors found her a 10 / 10 perfect match from an anonymous donor. She said her "goodbyes" to family and friends. She was admitted on July 8, 2014 for her treatments. Radiation and chemotherapy were started immediately. She received her transplant on July 17, 2014. She became sick quickly, and we were scared to death. She slowly became better. As she recovers, we were told by doctors the requirements of her "going home". The only one that concerned is was our home. We live in an old farm house. It has lots of problems, as old houses do. To a normal person worth a normal immune system, this is fine. But with someone like Hailey, no, this is scary. She cannot fight off infections etc. Like we can. My husband and I both lost our jobs through all of this. We were afraid to leave our daughter. Our home needs so many repairs, it's unreal. Which we now cannot afford. We rent our home, which we are behind on now. Or main concern is our daughter and our other children, of course. But as parents, bills are always on your mind among other things. Hailey was finally released from the Kosairs Childrens Hospital of Louisville Kentucky on September 10,2014. We are currently staying at The Ronald McDonald House of Louisville. Hailey has appointments every 2 days at the hospital. I want the best for all my kids. It pains is to know she lives in fear and anxiety every day now. She's afraid of getting sick again. She still won't eat or hardly drink. She cries when she has to take her medicine. We just want or family to be together again. My other children miss us so badly. They are forced to stay at my parents house because the hospital is so far away. They have school to attend and only see us on the weekends. It's tally hard on them too. Hailey has seen her brother and sister for the first time in 3 months, this past weekend. It was an emotional time. Her siblings weren't allowed on the cancer unit due to infection control. SO it was hard on ALL of us. Thank goodness my parents have watched my other kids for us. I just wish we had a home to go to where we could be a family again. A place where Hailey would be safe, where she could be at ease of not getting sick. I'm asking for anyone to help us build a home for us so we could be together. I love my family, I miss my kids. Our house isn't big enough, Hailey requires her own room now. This has all been a nightmare? If you can help, or know anyone who can, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We're not asking for a miracle. Just a place where we can all heal and be together. Thank you again, The Riggs.
Mrs. Melanie Riggs

I am writing in secret for my parents. The house i grew up in my parents lost. My sister was able to make a payment and talked the fiance company in to letting my family keep there home. It has set up for awhile before they got this opportunity to be able to get it back maybe 6 months or more. The home was broke into and things where stolen like the electrical panel, Hot water Heater,Windows and doors etc. I have almost lost my father several time this year. He has congestive Heart Failure. Along with getting Fournier Gangrene. He has a Irregular heart beat and blood clots in his legs. Due to all this he can not work. My mother is only allowed to make one thousand dollars a month to be able to get my father medical help. My Family has been basically homeless they have had to stay with my brother. The only thing i would like is help to make the home live-able again for my parents. If anyone would just help with maybe the roof and electrical i would be so thankful.

My family really needs your help. I'm a 32 year old single mother of an amazing, smart, funny 11 year old boy. I also have systemic mastocytosis (SM). SM is a disease where the body makes too many mast cells and they pretty much take everything over. You can have too many in your skin, too many in your stomach, too many in your bone marrow, etc. Mast cells are responsible for the release of histamine in allergic type reactions. So, basically I live in low grade anaphylaxis all the time and take many medications to keep it at bay. I am in danger of having a serious allergic reaction to many known and unknown triggers. Everyday is different and I never know how I will feel from one minute to the next. Living alone with my son got increasingly harder, so we made the tough decision to move in with my mom and stepdad to not only help financially, but to take some of the burden off my son when I am sick and cannot care for myself. The house they live in is the house I grew up in and already needed many updates and repairs. Long story short, one day the water line going to the ice maker in the freezer busted. Water was everywhere. The floor and walls were ruined, not only in the kitchen, but also the adjoining foyer and living room/dining room combo. We had to move everything out and tear up all the floors. We finally got everything we needed to begin the work, and then my stepdad had serious back surgery. This leaves my mom (who also works full time as a pediatric nurse) and my son, Ryan, to do all the work. Before they could even get started, another disaster struck. One morning, I heard water running from downstairs and I find it flooded. The hot water heater had broken and water was gushing from it. The floors downstairs in the family room and half bath are carpet and even with multiple cleanings, smells really bad. The possibility of mold is high and this could be very deteimental to my health. I have basically been a prisoner in my bedroom making sure I keep all my emergency meds handy and doing frequent breathing treatments. Please help us fix our house and make it a safe place for us to live in again.
I am 43 and disabled.I am writing to you in hope you will help me and my grand kids.I am losing my house through foreclosure. I had some financial problems in the past.I was taking care of me and 6 other people at the time and got behind on a couple of payments.I then realized even though I was making payment my interest kept it going up.So I just stopped all together.
Now I am living with my mother in her 3 bedroom home with my 3 grand kids, who ages range from 5 to 2.
Only health issues I have lymphedema, neuropathy, and RA.
I love and I am blessed to have a mother who is willing to help me out,but I am wanting a house to myself where my grand kids can grow up. I know that you have helped others who need it more then me. I just hope you pick us. Thank you for your time and may God bless you
Hi my name is Lyric Lee. I am 14 years old and i live in Charleston, wv. My parents do not know I'm doing this. Our problems began back in July, when my 5 year old brother died. He had fallen and hit his head. We called the ambulance because he went limp in my mother's arms. I was crying, she was crying,my cousins' mom was crying. While the ambulance was on their way,we tried doing CPR on Aaron because he was taking a breath every three seconds. My mom told me to go outside to look for the ambulance. So I'm outside waiting, crying my eyes out, when Toyia comes out,(my cousins mom) carrying my little brother. Mom cames out behind her. Toyia laid Aaron on the picnic table. The ambulance pulled up in front of our house. Two men came out and examined my little brother. Then very gently, one of the men picked him up and loaded him into the back of the ambulance. My dad's car pulls up and he jumps out of the car, thinking it was my mom in the back of the ambulance because she has these attacks in her chest that give her complete pain and he thought that one of them finally got to her. Immediately, he flew to the back of the ambulance, only to find it was my little brother. He walked into the fence, looked at my mom, and asked what happened. She could barely tell him for crying so much. I wasn't any help either. Then one of the men come over to the fence, wanting one my parents to come to the back of the ambulance. Mom nearly pushed me into the pushed me into the grass trying to hurry back there. She came back crying 10x harder. Dad volunteered to ride in the back of the ambulance because mom was too messed up to do anything. The ambulance rushed off to the hospital. Five minutes after they left, we were all piling into the car, pajamas and all, to get to the hospital. When we got into the car, mom was trying to figure out how to get to the hospital without getting pulled over by police. Toyia told her to turn on both blinkers and that's just what mom did. We all rushed into the emergency room. Mom and Toyia went back and had me wait with my other little brother Alex, and my little sister T'ziah. We waited and waited then, my dad came out. He sat in the chair beside me and said nothing. The next day, we were all woke up at 6 something in the morning. A doctor at the hospital had asked permission to do surgery on my brothers brain due to swelling ang fluid. My parents agreed. That day when we had came back to the hospital, Aaron had been rushed to ICU. My mom and dad were allowed to go back and seen him , but not me or my others siblings because they said it was too traumatic. From what my mom has=d described to me, I'm glad we didn't. She said they had a giant needle in the top of his head draining out fluid. One whole side of his face was swollen. Things didn't look good as the doctor said. We all went home after that, not doing much. Other people started hearing about Aaron and asking if he was ok and everything. I just knew Aaron would pull out of it and I'd have my little brother back. Things didn't happen to way I wanted them to. During the night at the hospital, things took a downfall for Aaron. We all came to the hospital the next day and they said he was brain-dead. Basically saying he was gone. Again, My mom and dad went back to see him. This time described to me the worst. She said as soon as you walked into the room you smelled the strong scent of blood and death. Blood was all over Aaron and pooling out of his mouth and even in the hose they had put down his throat. My dad couldn't stand to seem him like that so he made the people clean him up. My mom and dad had decided that they had wanted Aaron to be an organ donor, so that a piece of him could live on in another little child. So, the doctors kept him on life support, for his organs. As my mom and dad were signing the donor papers, Aarons little body went into cardiac arrest while on life support meaning, he could not be a donor any more. The doctors pulled the plug and when they remove needle, blood shot everywhere. After that things became very emotional, people who had heard of the tragedy came to pay their respects, it seemed like everyday we were crying and grieving. If I am correct, Aarons body was held for 28 days because we were being investigated for murder. When the investigators found out we were innocent, they released Aarons body. The only reason we had to be investigated is because my birth mom(who is in jail) said that my mom killed him. During those 28 days, me and my sibling could not be around my mom and dad alone CPS orders, so my aunt Necie had to be with us 24/7. After the investigation thing finally blew over, my mom and dad held a small funeral for my little bro at prestons funeral home. My cousin,Jodie Lee, drove all the way from Ohio, with a herd of friends, to attend the funeral. At the last minute, I decided I had to see him one last time and say good-bye. I walked to the back room where he was and just looked at him and touched him ice cold hand and left out crying.
We had Aaron cremated and sent to us in a beautiful vase.
Here recently this month, our water line busted. For almost three days, my dad was outside with the help of friends, covered from head to toe in red clay mud, trying to fix it. Finally they got it fixed even though the water pressure wasn't as strong in the faucets. Then' like a week ago, we had a pretty good rain and our basement flooded. I was sitting in the floor, reading a story on my tablet, dad was watching tv, when all of a sudden, I hear glug-glug and I look and a wave of water is creeping towards me. I turn to my left. It's coming from that side too. I get up and tell dad the basement is flooding. He rushes over and started making me pick things up while he tells mom the news. She rushes down and as soon as she sees the water, ankle deep now she starts crying. We're all trying to pick thing up and put them places the mom tell me to grab the cords. Me, like a dummy, tries to grab them out of the water and ends up getting electrocuted so I threw them back in the water. My dad has to come over and get them because now' I refuse to touch them. After we could get everything we could up, mom calls my Uncle Rick to help us. He helps drain the water out,and tells us that everybody on the west sides' basement flooded due to a backed up line. So now, our pets, and us stay in the kitchen, living room, and our bed rooms. The water that flooded our basement left a really bad odor and now it's coming to out upstairs, especially in the bathroom. We've sprayed everything we could but the smell keeps coming back. We really need some help
My name is Megan and I want to nominate my hopefully soon to be mother in law. I've been dating my boyfriend Kevin for three years and we have a beautiful two year old son Isaac together. Pascalia Moruri is nothing but a loving, strong, and hardworking mother. Her and her husband brought their family to minnesota from nairobi kenya in 2000. Recently my son and I have just lost our home and pascalia had took us into her home despite the fact that she has a full crowded house with 8 year old twins and a 23 year old daughter who suffers from brain damage due to epilepsy and is slowly loosing her independance. We are all squeezed very tightly right now 4 of us all sleep in the same bedroom. There are isn't any room for our personal belongings so some went to a storage unit and some things we had to toss. We can't sit together as a family for meals. Besides the fact that how great of a mother and let alone person pascalia. She goes out of her way to help others. She has allowed me to get a full time job and drive me back a forth to work while she stays home with my son even though she has a job and is finishing up nursing school. Pascalia is deserving of this makeover of her home for being as great as she is and not just her but their whole family deserves it.
Please help make over my home I have 3 kids of my own plus my nieces and nephews my home is not big enough for everyone and I need a lot of repairs and update plumbing and electrical work done .
Greeting to all reading this message.
