ABC Family has picked up a pilot order for ‘Bunheads’, a one hour scripted drama set in the world of ballet/dance and they are looking for fresh faced young dance enthusiasts to fill out the cast of this sure-to-be hit.
Written as an homage to her childhood with her dancer mother and her own attempts at ballet, ‘Bunheads’ follows the story of a once-promising dancer who has fallen from Broadway to Vegas. After a shotgun marriage she moves to the east coast and starts teaching at her mother-in-law’s dance school.

Hey! I am Carissa and I am 12 years old almost 13. I am tall for my age. People say I could be in high school. But i doubt it. I can sing. And I can dance, i have been dancing ever since i was 2, taking exams in ballet and at 12 I finished all my exams and now I am moving on to intermediate after passing from my intermediate foundation exam. but most of all I love acting. Acting is a feeling that i can't take away from myself. I can't really express myself in like a comment. Usually i would say i am funny, fun to be around, really outgoing and weird.
