They broke into the industry with the low budget gem The Foot Fist Way, expanded their comedic skills with the breakout HBO hit Eastbound & Down and now they are ready to unveil their most hilarious creation yet. The team of Danny McBride and Jody Hill are heading back to television with the high school comedy Vice Principals and auditions for several fantastic roles are being held now.
McBride (Pineapple Express, Tropic Thunder, This Is the End) will star alongside an extremely exciting supporting cast made up of Walton Goggins (The Shield, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The Hateful Eight), Georgia King (Jane Eyre, Tanner Hall, The New Normal), Shea Whigham (Agent Carter, Boardwalk Empire, Silver Linings Playbook), Brian Howe (Hart of Dixie, The Pursuit of Happyness, Catch Me If You Can) and Busy Philipps (Cougar Town, I Don’t Know How She Does It, ER)
as the leader of a group of wacky vice principals overseeing one of the most outrageous high schools in entertainment history. McBride and Hill will be writing the series with Tim Saccardo (Community) will produce with a team that includes Stephanie Laing, Scott Clackum, Dana Brancato and John Carcieri.
Auditions for a variety of parts in the comedy series Vice Principals are taking place now and will continue on through the length of the seasons shooting schedule.
