Tyler Perry’s Too Close to Home Looking for MenWant to be in a new Tyler Perry television series? Here is your chance! Tyler Perry’s “Too Close to Home” that will be airing on TLC is now looking for background actors. The new eight-episode scripted series that is being written, directed and executive produced by Perry is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia. According to Variety the show “follows follows the story of a young woman who escaped her working class upbringing to discover unparalleled success in the fast-paced D.C. political circuit, only to find herself at the center of a scandal. After a steamy affair with a married senator makes national headlines, she is forced to return to her trailer park beginnings, where her past and everyone in it resurfaces to complicate everything”.

Marinella Hume Casting is looking for men and women to be in the shoot tomorrow, Tuesday, June 14th. They are looking for men in their mid 20’s to late 30’s to play Washington DC News Photographers, Washington DC News Camera Operators, Washington DC News Reporters and Washington DC Sound Boom Operators. These are all paid roles.

If you are available for the shoot tomorrow and can portray the look of one of the roles, email tooclose.mhc@gmail.com with your full legal name, phone number, age, height, weight, wardrobe sizes, shoe size, one recent headshot and one full body shot. The photos should be very recent and taken within the last four weeks. The subject line of the email should be either photographers, camera operators, reporters or sound boom operators depending on the role you are submitting for.

If you want to submit for more than one role, put all of the subject lines in one email. Do not send multiple emails. The casting director asks that you take the time to make sure your submission email is accurate and includes all of the information before you send it as any emails with no subject line or missing information will be discarded.
