An NBC casting call for extras is here for their TV show “This is Us”. The series is currently filming the rest of season 1. The location the show uses for filming is Memphis, Tennessee so local models and actors are needed. Currently the team is looking for men and women ages 18 through 80 years old.

The time period “This is Us” takes place in is 1976 so no one with trendy or modern haircuts can be used. A variety of types are needed including thing to medium and average builds. Filming will be on Thursday, January 26th and / or Friday, January 27th. Although most people will only work one day it is possible to work both.

Sometimes life will surprise you Starring Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown, the show is a refreshingly honest and provocative series follows a unique ensemble. As their paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways, we find that several of them share the same birthday and so much more than anyone would expect. From the writer and directors of “Crazy, Stupid, Love” comes a smart, modern dramedy that will challenge your everyday presumptions about the people you think you know.

**EXTRAS**:

TRAIN PASSENGERS: male and female, all ethnicities (although primarily African American), age range 18-80, variety of types, thin to medium/average build – shouldn’t be anyone too tall or overweight because this takes place in 1976 and period costumes will be provided, no trendy or modern haircuts or facial hair

We do not have Call Times yet and you would need to be fully 100% available on work date (regardless of what the wrap time ends up being!). MUST be available ALL DAY!! You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). You will be paid overtime for anything over 8 hours at time & 1/2.You will receive a check in the mail usually 14-16 business days AFTER you work. (*WE do not handle payroll so checks are issued from the Production payroll company)

Location is in the MEMPHIS, TN area. *We will not be reimbursing travel to MEMPHIS nor providing accommodation in the area – Local Memphis Hire ONLY
