I'm Henry Tobelman from Killingworth, Connecticut. I've been acting and performing for about eight years now. I have some voice training and a fearless range. I'm 19 years old, about 6'2" athletic body type, with brown eyes, curly brown hair, and a young-ish face. I have a wide range as a performer although the majority of my experience has been on stage. I'd love to be a part of this production. I am easy to direct, and have a strong sense of character. My skills include acting, singing, facial expression, voice modification/inflection, an improv background which helps me stay in character, and I'm open to do whatever is thrown a me and work hard at it. When I get a role I do not immediately memorize the lines, but learn the character. I find that if you have built an in depth character but stumble over a line, it will work out alright because you know how your character would naturally handle it, but if you know every line and not the character saying them, well then you're not even acting in the first place. Not that you shouldn't know your lines.

I've been acting, since middle school, and it's all that I've ever wanted to do. This sounds like a great opportunity!
I believe a great actor has excellent character analysation skills and a great actor can make themselves vulnerable and expose their soul when portraying a character. Being vulnerable in real life is hard but to do it in front of 20 people as someone else and create an energy that leaves the director physically shaking and your fellow actor scared is a good start. Young actors today do not go very far outside of themselves when choosing a character. They have little life experience so they play characters that embodie who they are as opposed to characters that they must embodie. I always choose characters who are the polar opposite of me so then I know I am pushing myself way outside the square and allowing myself to be someone I am not. Then I give the character facets make her three dimensional just like we all are. Young actors don't do that because you need life experience, or must be incredibly intelligent and they do not possess these qualities.
I wanna shine and need a chance. Left the UK market, because I know if you wanna make it for all of the right reasons, this is the place to be.
