I am 55 years old, retired from US Air Force after serving 29 years. I've been in several military conflicts and have served/travelled to 14 countries throughout my career. My passion from a child was to be a singer and play the keyboard, in which I did in a choir until I got to high school. After entering high school my four years were dedicated to sports trying for a college scholarship. I went to college a few years and ended up in the Air Force due to financial issues. Once I entered into the military my life took off like a rocket, literally. I never forget about my dream, but had to put it to the side to focus on protecting my country. Every military base I was assigned, I tried to take voice lessons. During one of our military conflicts, I had an accident and I injured my cervical spine and herniated my disk in my neck C1 thru C7, which I had major surgeries to correct. As a result, my surgeries closed my throat, which changed my whole voice pattern. I still want to sing, but I must learn to sing with the new voice I have. I would love to see my dream come true.
