hi,my name is jillian. i am 12 turning 13 june 26th.I don't just want to be on this because i love to dance but acting and performing is a big part of my life. I have been doing plays since first grade. i also have been dancing since i was two. i have been to many auditions and i am used to the feel of a stage or a set. Hello Reader!:) I go by the name Monica Vargas, i am currently a freshman at Uvalde High School who is participating in Varsity Basketball, Softball, Track, Dance Team, and my favorite, Varsity Choir. Singing, Dancing and acting have always been my loop holes to showing people who i really am, and expressing the true me. I have been participating in local competitions since i was 11 years old. I have preformed at parties, school activities and The Plaza in my home town. I enjoy singing in front of many people. On a stage is where i feel most comfortable. I have little experience in playing piano but it takes little to teach me a new song to play and sing. I have experience in guitar but i am no professional to be honest. I am in theater and i enjoy it because of the many different emotions and people you have to play(a challenge is what i love the most). I am no where near shy in front of a camera. I, along with fellow students of UHS are involved in keeping the students at out High School aware of the things happening in school, which is known as Coyote Country News(CCN). I am very optimistic, i think finding the best in every situation is what keeps a person grounded and happy. I have two amazing parents which have raised me to be a very respectful and selfless young lady. I have been told i am very photogenic and that i am good with people because i am very talkative(: and friendly. At school i am known as the girl who always keeps a smile on her face and is friendly. I currently hold a 3.4 GPA which i am planning and working to improve. I am grateful for everything i poses especially my two brothers and my parents. Disney in my eyes is something that can always put a smile on any persons face and gives them hope. That is all i want to do.
