The popular Netflix series “Mindhunter” is now filming its second season. A television casting call is looking for men. Casting directors are on the search for a male between the ages of 40 and 55 years old. They are specifically seeking a man who can portray a 1970’s dad type. For this role no one with a crew cut will be considered. Filming is set for Thursday, November 15th. This is a paid acting job. The chosen actor will receive $80.00 for 8 hours of shooting with time and a half after that. “Mindhunter” is filming in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. Only local actors are being considered.

According to Deadline, Mindhunter is based on the 1996 book Mind Hunter: Inside The FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, by former special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. Set in 1979, the series centers on the inquisitive and skilled FBI Agent Bill Tench (McCallany). Along with fellow serial killer investigator in the behavioral science unit, FBI agent Holden Ford (Groff), Tench interviews serial killers to help them solve current murders.
