ABC has become the place for sitcom hits and their all new offering is preparing to begin production. Malibu County is looking to follow on the successful footsteps of Modern Family, The Middle, Last Man Standing and Suburgatory with Malibu Country and auditions will be held soon for a variety of exciting roles. Malibu Country will star country music queen and sitcom superstar Reba McEntire who, following her divorce from her cheating husband, moves her wacky family from down home Nashville to the ritzy beach community of Malibu, California. This hilarious fish out of water set up is sure to have millions of fans laughing out loud each and every week as they watch Reba’s family try to navigate their strange new world. This fantastic new series will feature a number of talented comedic actors alongside Ms. McEntire (Reba, Charlotte’s Web) including legendary Academy Award Nominee Lily Tomlin (Nashville, I Hear Huckabee’s), Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect, Pearl Harbor), Jeffrey Nordling (Once And Again, TRON: Legacy) and Juliette Angelo (New Years Eve, In the Family) and there are still a number of fantastic supporting roles available for up and coming performers of all ages.
