Do you want to appear on a new Hulu TV Show? Patricia Arquette is starring in the upcoming series “The Act”. An extras casting call is looking for new faces over the age of 18 who have not yet worked on the show. Casting directors are looking for a variety of men and women between the ages of 18 and 80 years old. Talent of all ethnicities and genders are needed to be considered. The team is looking for all types of people including regular people, cop types, doctor types, parents, grandparents, college aged kids who look younger, Midwest working class types and more! Filming will take place in December and January in Savannah, Georgia. The pay is $80.00 for 8 hours plus an additional $50.00 if your car is used.
According to Deadline, “The Act is a seasonal anthology series that tells startling, stranger-than-fiction true crime stories. The first season is based on Dean’s 2016 Buzzfeed article “Dee Dee Wanted Her Daughter To Be Sick, Gypsy Wanted Her Mom To Be Murdered.” It follows Gypsy Blanchard, a girl trying to escape the toxic relationship she has with her overprotective mother, Dee Dee (Arquette). Her quest for independence opens a Pandora’s box of secrets, one that ultimately leads to murder.”

For NOW – fresh faces! NEW background talent who have not been seen yet on camera on our Hulu series, “The Act.” Regular people, Cop types, doctor types, mom/dad/grandma/grandpa types, college aged kids who can look younger, etc…midwest working class.
Ages 18-80, all ethnicities and genders. We especially need more conservative looks for flashback scenes coming up in Dec/Jan – natural hair colors, no visible tattos, classic hairstyles that can fit in other time periods. And if you have older cars from the 90s, let us know! Please share!
