Do you want to be in the DC Universe series “Swamp Thing”? Your chance is here! The first season is now filming and a new audition notice has been released. The extras casting call is looking for men ages 22-39 to portray a shirtless guy, men and women ages 21-40 to portray Delory’s wait staff and townies and males and females of all ethnicities ages 21 to 34 years old to play a hot young crowd. The pay rate is $64.00 for up to 8 hours of filming guaranteed. This means you will be paid that even if you work less than 8 hours. If you work over that time period you will receive time and a half. The shoot will be in Wilmington, North Carolina on Friday, November 16th. This is for a local bar scene.
According to Variety, the show will be based on the DC Comics characters created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson, the one-hour drama series follows CDC researcher Abby Arcane (Reed) as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe.
