I have read the book, and have been a fan of all three ladies since childhood. I sing, have had some experience with theater. Feel like I would be able to bring the sense of that era to the role of Carol King. It was a difficult time to be a woman. All these new ideas and a true examination of the role of women in the world. Yet, there was still that sense of a talented young woman having to prove herself to the men who ran the record companies and controlled the radio waves of the time. Sounds like an interesting project. The music from Carol,Carly and Joni is the music I've always related to. I remember belting out "Jesse" and "I feel the Earth Move" in the car as a kid.
