Want a speaking role on hit Fox television series “Empire”? Your chance is here! The show is now seeking African American teen boys for upcoming roles in the show. The series Empire follows Lucious Lyon who is the king of hip-hop and an immensely talented artist, a former street thug who is now the CEO of Empire Entertainment. After battling what he belived to be a terminal disease, he challenged his sons to compete for his throne. The task was made all the more complicated by the return of his ex-wife and mother of his sons Cookie when she was released from prison.
The casting team is seeking an African American male who is 13 to 15 years old to play the role of Young Tariq. He is Luscious Lyon’s half brother that is played by Morocco Omari (google his name to see his look). This role is for a flashback scene and will have one line. They are also seeking an African American male who is 18 to play younger. This boy is seen in a flashback as a teenage speaking to young Cookie. They are seeking actors who are local to the Chicago area where the show is filming. These roles will film July 19th through July 28th. Only actors who are available for all of the shoot dates should apply, no exceptions. All actors must be Illinois residents.
