Nicole 7yrs old lennox and1yr and4months amelia so this is it im not going to lie we dont own a home we live in a rented room and bathroom i work seasonally at the tryall golf tennis and beach club where i babysit kids i dont know if i eill ever own a house of my own but i would like to. Me and my kids we live without many privilages but we still cope. Me and my husband and son and two cats and a god could really us a home make over. My husband is a hard worker and does the every best he can to keep up with the bills and do home improvements. I am legally blind and just medically retired from working do to my eyes hitting worse and my boughs of blurry vision and migraine. I also suffer from allergies so having my house they way it is now my allergies are bad. Also do to the way the flooring in the house is it makes it very hard for me to clean do to my vision troubles. Hi my name is kasey. Im 17 from canton ohio. My dad my mom and i live in a two bedroom house that my grandpa built. There is not enough room in our house for anything and to top it off. A few years ago our well ran dry my dad works wveryday to try to rais the money to get it fixed but other things always come up i have asthma. Ive been bullied and in andout of the hospital . Last year i rolled a four wheeler and ended up braking my pelvic bone. My dad stayed l me all day everyday. He has had multipul heart attacks and brole his back . It would be really nice for him to come home to a home where he dont have to worry about my asthma and my moms asthma. We have alot wrong with the house. My dad just doesnt have the time or money to fix it or rebuild it. He fixes cars for people who really cant afford to pay alot just like us. So were usally hurting my sister liveswh u for now shes jad two jobs just tryig to save u pand pay for collage. She has done anything she can to help me when i couldnt walk . Now she is leaving and i am pregnant. My child simply can not live in my house in the condition that it is. Im scared our roof will fall in. In the next big storm . Our basement caved in so we use it as storage now. Our furnace broke so we use electric heaters in the winter and one of them shorted our room so now my dads room doesnt have electric. We have holes in our walls it gets really dusty and i cant breath half the time. Please please please help.
Hello I am Rochelle & Margaret Haden my mother is Darlene Haden she loves you show she get so emotional when there is someone out there that cares about other people my mother said that one day she will have her house the way she wants it she wants a big kitchen where she can cook and bake and feed a lot of people she has always cared for other people, if she could i believe my mother would cut that tall tree down in front of her house and in her back yard and have the yard she always wanted. My mother said if we put concrete in the back yard she would have to cut the little grass back there because nothing will grow back there so when i do get the money i need i will have a place to put my car, build my deck and have fun in my fence in back and front yard.and have family over to enjoy my cooking and baking.
My grandparents have been going through a lot lately and I just want to do something to make them happy and give them something to smile about. They have been in and out of the hospital due to health issues and recently moved into their house in Durham north carolina. The house has been in the family for years and was a mess from being kind and letting people stay in it. My mother fixed everything and brought the entire house back to life. My grandparents came back to visit and while they were here they got a phone call saying that their house was on fire. The whole front of the house is gone and the car is probably finished. Its so sad to see them go through this and it breaks my families heart. they deserve to be somewhere in a nice place relaxing because they are getting up there in age. It really sucks that we cant afford to help them. Please help us if you could and help change their life around. thank you
Hi my name is Georgina Nava I live in Livingston Ca , I am 25 years old and a mother of 4 ages ranging from 7-1years old on May 24 2014 we had to face to most unbelievable tragedy our mobile home caught fire and I lost EVERYTHING we had no home insurance so the mobile home and everything in it was irreplaceable..i didn't have anything fancy but whatever we lost we called it home. I was homeless for two weeks with my family no money no food I was living in a hotel trying to figure out where we were going to live. It was the end of the school year for my 7 year old son what was suppose to be the beginning of a fun filled summer but instead he had to deal with the burden of our lost. My son's school helped out with donating food clothing and hygienic products but only lasted so long.so we were without for a while. God heard my prayers sent people in our path to help us generous people helped me get a house I was calling different donation organizations to help me out so I can furnish my home. In the end I'm grateful my family and I are ok material things can be replaced but not a life. fire happened 20 minutes after we left home firefighters said cause of fire was the water heater had a misfire. I pray that my family begins to heal cause my kids seen our home up in flames they question me everyday and ask if the home we live in now is gonna catch fire they don't feel safe their too little to understand I try my best to do all that I can to help them move forward but the memories will always be there.I askthat you help my family so we can finally get some closure and have a home where they feel safe and a place we can call home again God bless you!!
Hi my name is Brittany Rinker and I am 15 years old. I live with my mom,stepdad,and grandma. We have 3 cats and a fish. We have to live in my stepdads moms trailer because we can't afford rent anywhere. We can barely get enough money for food. We go to churches to get help and even have to bug money off our other family members. My mom was a single mom until she met my stepdads back in 2009. All of her other exes she has been with have done nothing but put her and me down my entire life. My father abandoned me when I was a bout 2 years old and has been in and out of jail. He has tried to be in my life before but could never keep his promises. Our messed up relationship officially ended a couple years ago when he called me a mistake and a bunch of other things. My mom is currently 3 months pregnant and she had to go on wic and is trying to get food stamps now but haven't heard back from them. My mom suffers from depression and anxiety problems. She is trying to find a job but nobody will hire her. My stepdads works but all of the money goes to pay for what groceries we can get and to the truck payment and credit card bills. My mom had to take my stepdads moms old car and it is falling apart. Our trailer we live in is a '95 and it is falling apart. We had to completely remodel my bathroom which cost even more money which we didn't have. We only have 2 bedrooms and with my mom having a kid on the way we don't know what to do. I've been trying to get a job to help my family but no one will hire me. I'm tired of seeing my family struggle and it would mean so much for my family to get this. I volunteer down at a thrift shop that help raises money for animals that don't have a home. My moms and I's dream is to open a no kill shelter to help animals from being killed and homeless. My grandma and I both suffer from asthma but my grandma has stage 3 the most chronic asthma stage. She recently had breast cancer and had to have surgery done. She also has very bad eye sight and she can barely walk because her knees are giving out. I have both ankle surgery because my ligaments were torn apart. I volunteer at the library just go find a way to give back to my community to show that even though we struggle I rather help out other citizens. Please help us it would mean so much
Hi my name is Steven! I have no concern for myself and I'm reaching out for the sake of my granny! She has worked since she was like 12 and now she's 70yrs old and no job. Trying to make ends meet while still taking care of other people kids. She got a home in 1999 and has struggled and I've watched as the home she worked so hard for is falling apart and slipping out her fingers. She chose to raise me my sister and so many Grand kids. She literally can barely walk or pay her bills. I can only do so much having my own family! This woman raised me to work hard and have my own and to fight for it. Hi my name is Lakisha Carmon, and I would like to nominate my church New Beginnings deliverance Center. My church is so awesome. It helps the homeless. Picking them up five days a week, feeding them, giving them clothes, and healing them to be productive citizens. We give food on Thursdays, we give clothes, and we have a two vans which pick them up at the homeless shelter ( ST. MARY'S) in Stockton CA and bring them to our church. Feeding them so they can receive a hot meal while coming to church. Our Bishop is amazing. He helps the men find jobs and give them shelter. His wife First Lady helps the women to dress appropriate and teach us how to take care of our self. Our church was a bakery and people told the Bishop that he could never turn that building into a church and he did so. They do more than a lot for the community. If this church could be redone it would be like a dream come true. It's not about me, or bishop, or his wife and kids, It's about our community. The difference from our church and the other churches is because we do it all. We work with the youth, were open six days a week, having service five days, and we give out food on Thursdays. Our church need a over haul. We need a new baptism department, our bathrooms are not working properly, our roof needs work, we have plumbing problems, our kitchen needs to be redone, we need rooms for the marriage couples, single people, men,older youth, and younger youth. We need a day care so that we can give some of the homeless people jobs. Our property is huge. If you can find it in your heart redo our church it will be awesome. Hi, My name is Taylor Montooth Im 23 yrs of age and I am writing to you because I am doing this for my parents and sisters.I have two younger sisters that live with my parents Adelide which 14 and maggie is 13 also my brother which is 24 but he just enlisted in the army and is in Gerogia for his job training I have a 7th month old son karsen I live with my boyfriend and son in low income based Apartments (1 bedroom) I currently do not work considering I am not aloud to or we would get kicked out because they said we would make to much. but our lease is up in three months so eventually me and my son will be moving in to my parents while my boyfriend moves into his parents untill we can afford a nice home..may I add that my parents house is three bedrooms and one bathroom and is pretty small for five people and baby also two pets our cat mollie and dog heidi..one thing I want in life is for my mom to be happy she puts on a smile even when on the inside she is breaking down cause she knows it will just worry us kids her and my dad work so hard to keep everything going and us kids happy. but when it comes to the house living pay check to pay check it's hard finacialy and it's stressful for them I mean me and my boyfriend are on the same boat considering im not aloud to work I completely understand how they feel and it's the worst feeling not knowing if you can pay the next bill due or buy groceries to eat. and its sad to see them stress over it. with the house being so small their is so many big problems with it. it would take forever for me to even explain how bad the house is and what is wrong with it not only that for some reason we have bad luck when come's to our cars breaking down my brother my parents and boyfriend struggle just to keep the cars in shape. It's honstly one thing after another and with the house being a billion years old lol im surprised it's still standing. i watch the show all the time and daydream that one day that could be us that could be my parents .. I know so many people sign up for this so many people dream that it could be them but i fiqured It's worth a try. my parents deserve this in so many ways and I would love to just give my mom the house she has always wanted and dreamed of . she has done so much for me and my sibilings it would be the best thing in the world to see her stress free and happy. My parents have no clue Im doing this because if I told them they probly would say this could never happen to us considering we have bad luck with everything and that my parents actually signed up before but never mailed the papers because they just lost faith thinking it's to good to be true. with that being said i fiqured I try I mean you know what they say you cant win the lottery if you don't play. She 80 years old and she has been living in this house for more than 50 years. She is so loving, caring, and has a warm heart for her grandkids and everyone else. I just want this opportunity I could give back to her for all she's done for us. This house is so old, the shower is not working, no hot water, foundation is falling, now its bugs coming in. Its more than 9 people living in here and she has been taking care of the whole family for years, And i just want her to feel soo special.
Soo please come and remodel this house and make her feel soo special for all she has done for us. It hurts me that this house was once beautiful and now we are struggling to live in here. It hurts her as well. Please give us a chance!
I would like to introduce you to my daughter, Kimberly; grandson, Tyson and their story.
She is a single mother of a wonderful 7 year old son, Tyson. We found out on his fifth birthday that he has Muscular Dystrophy. No family history of the disease at all. We were all devastated. Most of the family chooses to be in denial. But it is a reality everyone has to eventually accept. As a result of denial, few are willing to see or realize the need to support her and Tyson.
She receives little support (financial or emotional) from the father. She is working two jobs, going to school full-time to become a RN to be able to take care of Tyson herself. She is a straight A student.
Tyson is reaching the stage of his disease where he will begin using a wheelchair. She currently lives in a tiny two bedroom duplex.
I lost my husband three years ago to suicide and am on SSI. I own property with a single wide on it, but it is 25-plus years old, and not handicap accessible. Even if it were, it does not have the space needed for a wheelchair and the other needs he will have further down the line. ie bathrooms with handicap equipment. As you know, with MD also comes a host of other health issues. There is mold, and other hazards in the trailer. He has allergies and heart issues already.
I want to help my daughter and grandson, but don't have the resources. Please consider them for your show, and help.

To make a long story short my second husband died 1/12/2012 from granflo they use when someone is on dialysis about 8 months after he died I lost my job, my car, and my house. I did meet someone on 7/14/2012 and we where married on 2/14/2013 his ex-wife lyed and said he did something that he didn't do now he was taking from me and I'm doing everything I can to get him home, in the mean time I'm having to live in a enclosed carport with no heat or ac, and no hot water when I need to shower I have to go to the main house where his parents live. Hi,My name is Christine I like to be called Chris. I am writing today because I am 56 years old. I have been living in Newbury Vermont for 15years with my life long partner. We are just two hard working people. We have 3 adult children and one grandbaby. I watch you show when I can and I cry every time you help someone that works hard and needs a helping hand to make their home safe. That brings me to why I am writing. My boyfriend bought a small cottage when he was in his 20's. He is an independent truck driver and works long hours and his health is not good. I have severe allergies. I have really bad days and it immobilizes me. This cottage has real bad mold. I don't know where to turn. It is a small 3 rooms with a basement. It is not very big, but the cost of remodeling we just don't have it. We live pay check to pay check like many I am sure. If you are looking for a small job in the beautiful mountains of Vermont. I would love to have you take a look at this little cottage. I just worry that I will get sicker and I want to enjoy my grandson. Hey my names Jennifer. I'm 19 years old and me and my family live in Pax Wv. I'm going to be completely honest I live with my mom and my girlfriend right now because I'm not able to get a job right now when I was 17 almost 18 I was told I had turburculosis good news is its latent meaning its not able to be spread to the people around me but there's only a matter of time before it becomes active… I dont have a medical card or anything so I can't get the medicine I need….when I was younger I was taken from my mom and put into foster care and I've been there up untill the day I hit 18 my foster mom couldn't except me for being gay. so we kept moving from place to place until finally we came to live with my mom. We live up a dirt road in a beat up old trailerthat just seems to keep getting worse and worse we have four dogs. We don't have city water cause for some reason they couldn't put it up here so right now were using well water that is filled with rust…. we can't drink it cause one its rusted and two I think there's two rats dead in it.but of course we have no choice but to bathe in it. And we don't have a water heater so all year long were bathing in cold water… the floors in our trailer are beginning to rot and there's holes in the floor everywhere…. we have holes in our walls everywhere…we don't have a secure front door the only thing keeping us safe is a small little sliding lock … our furniture is all tour up…. the wires in our house are all messed up the breaker box keeps throwing out sparks some of the outlets don't work some of the lighting don't work….when its raining we have to be careful with what we touch cause everything's shocking us….we don't have a car so we never get out and when we do we have to pay 30-50$ in gas. We don't have much food in fact were down to selling most of our stuff for money to get food. We have to use a wood stove for winter and we haven't even got wood this year… look I don't know if you'll help us… all I know is things just keep getting worse and no matter how many times we ask for help even if its just a little bit of food no one will help us….idk if you'll look at me different because I'm gay but I don't know what else to do… plz give our family a chance. Even if its just a new mobile home even used but in better condition then what we have now it would make us the happiest people in the world
My Father Jaime deserves an Extreme Home Makeover. I don't want to bore you with sad stories, because my Father is everything but that. My Father offers so much to his family and friends never expecting anything in return or worrying about himself in the process. He owns a house that is very old and in desperate need of renovation or complete makeover. Too many issues to list that it would be best to just see for yourself. He and I believe his home has so much potential while others seem to put him down and discourage him to do anything to it. I am my Father's only child and the least I can do is ask that you please consider him for your show. Family, friends, the community, and I love him dearly for the person he is. Hey, my name is Stephanie Gandy and I live in Hartsville SC. My sister is Ginger Yengel and she also lives in Hartsville SC. We are doing this for our mom and dad. Several years ago our dad started his own business he is a mechanic. He used to work for dealer ships then he decided to open his own Shop. Well he had to get tools and different things he would need from a vendor right off that put them in debt. He does not have the space he needs to work on the cars, his shop is in behind my mom and dad's house. Rain or shine my dad is out there working, there is one shed for one car to fit under at a time and it pushes others from starting work on other vehicles waiting.so with starting this he is already in debt trying to get the supples he needs to work on the vehicle. So some money is relied on my mom which she works at hospital doing payroll, it takes her whole paycheck to pay just the regular everyday house bills, the savings she has saved up to work on the house gets gone when daddy does not make enough that week and then has to get difference from there personal savings to pay help and my dad is left with none. On a second note my dad has been remodeling the master bedroom/bathroom for almost four years now. He is good, knows what he is doing but he runs out of time in a day and he is the only one to do certain things mommy tries to help but there are something she can not do. But when they are having to take money out there saving to pay daddy's help for shop, that leaves no money for my dad and no money to finish bedroom and bathroom. He is having to gut the bedroom, new walls and floors water damage. In living room there are spots on the ceiling from water damage. Dishwasher does not work but it's just wasting space. My mom and dad are very hard working people and they would give you there last dollar if you need it they have struggled for to long and we want to try and get someone to help them. They deserve a house they can just go in and enjoy instead being stressed out every time they walk through the door. God has blessed them in many ways don't get me wrong but I want my parents to have something special and they do not have to stress they deserve it. They do not ask for anything from no one they always say they will figure it out but it's time we help give them something without them asking they shouldn't have too. My parents help us all the time and raised us just like them we work hard we do what we are supposed to and put our faith in God he will take care the rest. Please help me and my sister do this for our parents there Anniversary is coming up and we would love for them to be able to go away for a few days and not worry about things at the house. I am writing to give you a story that will really blow your mind. It is about my brother and his Wife and their 22 year old Daughter. They are family of 3 trying to run a taxi business that used to be owned by my father out of what used to be my decessed mother's home place where she was born and brought up in till she and my dad married then when my grandparents passed away the house was sold 5 or 6 times before my mom and dad bought the home place also this where I grew up in to. And now with my brother and my sister-in-law's health and my brother trying to keep up the family business my niece is forced to work 2 jobs and my sister-in-law works for the red cross trying to help the elderly while in the mean time her and my brother's house is literly falling apart and it is slowly killing them and I hate to see them pass away. they are from Sackville New Brunswick Canada I really hope you guys can help them ty. Hello I'm Natasha and I'm a mother of 2 girls and three stepsons! My husband and I work very hard to provide for our family and try to provide a nice home but things keep falling apart and money doesn't grow trees unfortunately! All of our appliances are falling apart and we are asking neighbors is we could use theirs to provide for our family but we can't afford buying any, with taking off of work for surgeries and doctor appointments. I have a daughter with emotional disorder and a learning disability as well as a mood disorder! My two stepsons are both hemophiliacs (rare blood disorder which causes their blood not to clot)and require treatment daily in order not to bleed to death! One of them which the youngest (7) he also has a rare brain defect called a chairi malformation and had to recently had to have surgery to get some relieve! We have to have a sterile place in order to treat the boys and as of right now we have to perform the procedure at the kitchen table in hopes that we cleaned well and hope for no infection! My husband is such a hard working man and is always giving back to our community as well myself! If you can please take in consideration our application we would be so blessed.

Our mother (Malebo) does her best to provide us with the beat education possible and at times neglecting herself, she is a single parent as she divorced our father when we were very young an dshe has since played the mother and father roles in our lives. Our house is a two bedroom house and is too little for us now as we are all grown and need a bit of privacy. It is also a embarrassing when we have guests sleeping over because then we have to sleep on the couch. My family me Renita my mother and sister could use a new home because our house is falling apart around us the ceiling leaks the floors feel like they are going to give way it is always really hot in this home during the summer and really cold in the winter things got bad here when my father died three years ago and we were paying insurance but when he came time for his funeral the people at the insurance company said we had no coverage so we had to collect money from relatives just to have him a nice funeral my dad was a hard working man and loving father and I'm still trying to cope with his death he was in the military marines but the goverment would not give us any money to help with expenses since that time we have been struggling to pay bills my mother hasn't worked since she had me and I am 25 she had a heart attack when I was young and had been disabled every since after the passing of my father her health has gotten worse she stopped walking as well as she use to went to the hospital this past February because of vaginal bleeding and while checking her out they pulled one of her legs the wrong way and she walks very little so I cut back hrs at my job to very few so that I can take care of her during the day and I work a few hrs at night all of my bills are behind because I cut my hrs but I don't care I'm just happy to have mother alive we really need a homemake over I have tried ever other option she is in a wheel chair and we don't have a ramp so getting her to doctors appointments is difficult she uses oxygen so during the summer it is difficult for her to breath well in our very hot home if you could we could really use the help

Hey Wassup? My Name is Jamal Jackson and I'm from Dallas Tx. My grandmother has been staying in her home for over 40 years where she raised all of her 10 kids and it has been a rough time for us. About 20 years ago the house caught on fire in the middle of the night due to a overheated plug. During this situation my grandfather (65 years old) was trying save everybody that he could. Once he got everybody out the house my cousin Preston was still in the house when my grandfather realized that he was in there he went back in to save him. Preston was a special kid and was afraid of the fire so he did not leave because of his fear which made my grandfather stay in there with him. After this terrible situation my grandmother was left to keep hold of her 10 kids and of over 50 of her Grandchildren. I also have an Uncle who had an stroke several years ago. In the matter of this his wife left him and took him to my grandmother (82 years old) house to stay. And as hard as it is for the family rite now, I hate to see them leaving in a house where the plumbing is completely ruined! There roaches everywhere! She has 7 broken vertabres in her back and is having trouble walking around. The house is currently in her mothers name and she is having trouble paying for the back morege. My husband and I met in 2nd grade. Can't believe that one day he would be my husband…..I am now 43, my husband and I purchased our first home. We were aware that it needed a lot of work but were up to the challenge. Shortly after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Needless to say all projects on our home were stopped. After 3 rounds of chemo and 3 surgeries I am now diagnosed with brain damage or what they think is Parkinson's Disease. Different doctors have different opinions. We are a one family income because I do not have the ability to work. At one point we almost lost our house. We have a leak in the garage that has caused mold. The work this house needs is far too much to list. Through all my treatment my husband has been incredible. My son is now a United States Marine and was the only one that could help him. I just want her to have more room so that everyone has a bedroom cause she don't even have a room her and I sleep in the living room,she had to go in the basement to do laundry,and its just very very hard on her..She's the glue that holds family together she always does for everyone nithing for herself there is so much more to the story,i just hope to be able to see her happy as well as my niece and son my grandmother had done a wonderful job with them they are always trying to raise money to help out animals ave other people who have it worse then them. My name is Brittney, I'm 21 years old, engaged and a stay at home mom to a ten month old little boy. We live with my dad and his house is in need of help in a bad way. He works 60+ hours a week and never has the extra money for the things he needs. The floor in our kitchen is gone and is just wood that's starting to go. There's soft spots all over the floors and I'm worried one day my dad is going to go through one of them due to him not being a little guy. All our bedroom doors have holes in them and the door frames are wasted. We have no heat or a/c so our winters are freezing and our summers are horribly hot. My dad being the great guy that he is has given up the master bedrooms in the house. My fiancée, son and I share one of them and my brother who doesn't even live here anymore has the other one. He comes and stays but not often. My dad has the smallest room in the house and doesn't have room for anything. Our spare bedroom is full of all the stuff we can't fit in our rooms due to the sizes of them. Our house is falling apart slowly but surely and we can't get the money to fix it. Just when we think we have enough to do one thing something comes up. My dad ended up in the hospital in December with gallstones and had to have his gallbladder removed. He's diabetic and overweight, so his health isn't the best but he still tries and does what he can. So if you could help us it'd be a blessing.

I would like to nominate my parents, Raleigh and Deb Johnson. All my life my parents have gone above and beyond for myself and others, even when they did not necessarily have the means themselves. My dad has had diabetes for as long as I can remember. He began to develop complications just over ten years ago. It began with vascular issues leading to necrotic vessels and ultimately the amputation of both legs below the knee. His kidneys also became non-functional requiring him to go to dialysis three times a week. At the epicenter of the decline of his health and increase of medical bills my parents lost their dream home. Thankfully my mother had a rental property they could fall back on, they have lived there for over five years. However,the 1970's house trailer is in need of complete overhaul, we have patched the roof and made repairs to the floors and tried to make it as handicap accessible as possible. My mother has been doing what she can here and there for work, but primarily cares for my father and elderly grandparents. In addition, my parents have also become my 16-year-old nephews legal guardian. There is so much I want and wish I could do for all the things my parents have done for me. This is very difficult for me to do. I am writing asking help for my brother who is suffering from Severe MS. He lives in a trailer in Knoxville, Tennesse. Randy has been in and out of nursing homes for the last two years, now the next time he might have to stay because his home is not handicap accessible. While he was in a nursing home someone broke in and stole almost everything he had. His heating and cooling unit was taken his dog that are his world ran away and he came back from a nursing home to find this. Randy also is a veteran, and because he did not serve during a war he is unable to live at a VA. he is also on 54 years of age. I am asking for help to make what time he has left enjoyable, he would love to be able to do for himself like he use to. He is a awesome person with one neighbor that has helped fix meals and make sure he is ok. His trailer need a new floor, new kitchen so he can work in it from a wheelchair. maybe a new bedroom that he could get to and transfer to his bed by himself easier. I live in Michigan and my heart aches that I can not be there to help and support him. We are adopted and have lost our parents years ago and now have each other. I have been blessed with a awesome husband and daughters and now a son-in-law. I am going in late August to see what I might be able to fix but I would love to see him receive help. He has two dogs and two cats that mean more than life to him and is what has given him the strength to go home from the nursing homes. We are hoping this touches you heart and maybe you can help.

Hi my name is Jennifer and I am 24 years old. When I was 13 years old my family became a foster family and we have had fosters kids since then, up until 2009 when we made the decision to adopt three children. The oldest was a 10 year old boy, then a 5yr old girl, and the youngest of the three siblings a toddler who we took in right from the hospital. This now made us a family of 9! I am the oldest, I have an 18 and 17 year old sister as well and a 22 years old brother. Years ago my dad was let go from his job due to new management and the fact that he made too much money. Since then he has struggled to find a good job that pays him enough to provide for such a large family and our home. The job loss was very unexpected and we were not prepared for this. It was been a great hardship and has taken its toll on the entire family and my father feels like a failure. I have never met a more hardworking caring man in my life; he had always been here and has always done whatever he could for us. He is an amazing father and I wish I could help him. As the years went my parents grew apart until they finally split last September. My mom moved out and took the youngest two. Mary and Kayden (the youngest 2) are still here majority of the week because we babysit them and they stay here every other weekend. We do not even have enough bedrooms in the house either. Mary stays in my one sister’s room when she is here and Kayden stays in my one brother’s room. Mary is now 10yrs old and had had many issues that we began to notice when she first came to live with us. She had been to many doctors, therapists, and neurologists and we can’t seem to get an exact diagnosis. She has been diagnosed as being mentally retarded, she has ADHD, she PTSD. She also had a disorder called Landau-Kleffner Syndrome which causes her to have seizures, and she has great difficulty understanding and using our spoken language. This can be sudden and gradual; can last for a few weeks to months. There can be progress and relapses as well and there is no cure for this disorder. She has to be in special classes and has to have a therapist come to our home every week. She sees a total of three therapists each week and has to take medication multiple times a day. Our mother has really been a close part of our lives and has never really had a great or close relationship with any of us. Myself, my boyfriend, my two brothers, and two sisters still live in our 20yr old house with my father. Due to the struggle over the years and my mom leaving us we have fallen far behind in our mortgage and have not been able to keep up with the maintenance of the home. On top of that myself and my oldest brother are both in college and we have loans that we need to pay back and that have also affected our financial situation. We have been to the point where we just about had to file bankruptcy and foreclose our home. We are in desperate need of help with our home so that we are able to stay here and not have to move. This is such a great home and just needs some time and work. We have so many memories here and have grown up here. It's an amazing house with so much potential in a great area. We would absolutely be devastated to have to give the home back to the bank. We cannot afford a new home especially one big enough for all of us. We would all greatly appreciate being considered for this show and to be helped. For years and years it just seems like its always one thing after another and we cannot catch a break. We have been put through the ringer as a family and just need to start getting things back on track and back to normal. At this point we are praying for a miracle!!! Thank you.
The house needs: A new roof, new windows, new shutters, new light fixtures, it has original bathroom fixtures, and has original carpets, the basements flooded and has never been redone, there is a slab of cement off the back room where we were going to make an addition before everything happened, basically the entire interior of the home needs a remodel and to be updated.

I am a 36year old disabled mom with tons of health and mobility issues with two kids who both have emotional disabilities my boyfriend of 18 years also is in the process of applying for disability we take care of my 83year old gram who has many health issues including lukema we also run a thrift store and donation center that we take all the proceed from the sales to pay for us to pick up and drop off donations to families in need fire victims churches organizations etc. Our house is very old and in need of much repair but if we could build a new one further back we could use the old one as the donation center instead of the portable three season garage we are using now any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi my name is Robyn I have a 5 year old daughter and my son will be 2 in September he has breathing problems he has been doing breathing treatments since he was about 6 months old, he has been to the hospital twice for having a seizure and stop breathing on me the last episode he had was a couple of days before Christmas he was life flighted to Texas children's hospital. I have a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home it was my boyfriends great mothers house it used to be a shack over time they had added on but it is falling apart our walls are just Pyle wood we have some sheetrock walls, I think we have mould under our stink there some spots on the floor it feels like your going to fall through, its so small my kids really have no room to play,we have some carpet and no central ac we have no insulation so our house gets very cold during the winter and very hot during the summer. With my son having seizures we have to go stay the night at my moms house so my son doesn't have another seizure. I just lost my job my boyfriend is doing side jobs to get is by we try to remodel the house but we don't have enough money. We tried getting loans but we don't qualify for them, my mom helps us out with everything! We are a young couplee that are trying to get on our feet and make a better life for our children this is our last resort if y'all could help it would be a blessing to our children!
Hi. Im a single father of three children ages 6,10,13. I work with the Sheriff's Office at night for 12 hours. My youngest child has austim and behavior problems. He has a therapist see him every week and see the doctor every month. My oldest son has a learning disability. My daughter has music lessons and always keeps to herself in her room. I been slowy over the years replacing,fixing,and buying items for the house. Do to normal life activities, not getting an increase in wages for years and not having enough time to do everything. My home keeps falling behind and needs a make over badly. I was able to replace some floors in the house with my tax refunds, but it still wasn't enough to do all my floors plus other repairs. I have many plans for my home and family but just dont have the income to do such. I can get small things now and then but Im not handy to install them. I also don't have green thumb. A lot of plants I had but in the ground kept dying off. I really would love my home to stand out and have that wow factor. Could you please help my family and I have a home that we can enjoy.

Hi my name is Alice but everyone calls me Lisi. I am 22 and come from a very close family. I grew up with a family of 13 siblings. 9 girls and 4 boys, we are not blood siblings but that does not make it any different from the love we have for each other. My dad is currently retired from the army and has raised us all on his only paycheck. He was suppose to retire out in Hawaii but when he got the news from our family in utah of my grandma passing, away, he was brought to tears and he needed to come back to utah. When we got to utah my uncle (father brother) told my father he can no longer take care of my grandma house. My father bought this house for my grandparents and siblings back in the 70's when he brought em to America. This house has had all of his 15siblings and kids living under this roof. With this house it had alot of memories of us family. We've been trying to fix this house up so many times but it always has another problem. With this house it has been refinanced so many times by greedy people who ran with the money and left my dad to fix himself with the little money he has. I remembered the first time we moved back to the house, we had to clean the basement and had so many beer bottles with urine inside, I could not let my father clean alone due to his heart problem so me and my siblings all helped him clean it. We also had to fix the roof and no one came to help but me and my siblings with my father because we could nt afford for someone else to do it. My dad has been having lots of heart problems. The first time he had a heart attack was when he was in training fir the army jumping out a helicopter and then another due to all the stress. My mother is also diabetic and has bad asthma. With my father he has the most biggest heart that it can barely fit in his chest. He is always willing to give and help with what little we have. Sometimes I would get really mad at him because we are struggling with house and he does not make em pay for the services he gives but yet always tells us "count your blessings for the lord is watching and he will give for those who serve in his name". So please help my father and my family.
Hi I am 44 year old father of three, grandfather of two. I have been disabled due to diabetes, arthritis, coronary artery disease, and heart attacks. I was a volunteer fire fighter in the community where I live and one night after being called to a wild land fire, I suffered my second heart attack. I went to the hospital to be told I would have to have a 6 way bypass. During the surgery I suffered complications which resulted in the loss of my left leg above the knee. The diabetes caused slow healing of some open wounds that kept me from getting my leg right away, but I was eager to walk, so when I finally got the leg, I immediately started therapy to learn to walk again. About mid way through the therapy I suffered another heart attack. Two of the vessels that were bypassed did not take. I was told to hold off on the therapy until I could get the surgery needed to open the vessels. The surgery was successful but during recovery I had a muscle spasm that caused me to move which dislodged the clot in the vein they went into and it caused a hematoma. Now I am waiting for that to disperse so I can try walking again. I live in a 14×80 singlewide mobile home that I can walk up to wall and almost poke my finger through to the outside. I have several holes in the floor, and I cant get to one bedroom and bathroom because the doorways are too small. My bathroom was somewhat remodeled to make it accessible, but I have no privacy except the bedroom door. I could use help to fix the holes, insulate the walls, and make it more handicap accessible. Hi my name is Kimberly. I want to tell you about my little family. I'm a mother to a 1 year old and a 2 month old. I have an amazing husband who has to stay home to watch the babies so I could work. We were in the moore oklahoma tornado last year (it hit my job the first day I had came back to work after having my son) and so I was car less and my lease ended at my apartment. So my husband's grandfather had let us rent a house. It was completely trashed when we got here. We cleaned it up and tried to paint to make it look decent. But we only have 1 small room. So we have to all fit in our room. We don't have a closet so we keep our clothes in several baskets. WE don't have gas in the house so we have to drive to my mother in laws house to shower. I work very hard to keep this house livable, however it's getting hard for us since we have 2 babies and just 1 small room. I try to help feed people in need and clothe them with every extra clothes I know I would never wear and with food I buy because it's on sale but wouldn't eat it. I just want to be able to feel safe with my 1 year old running around in the house and not have to worry about him getting hurt. Our flooring is only 1/2 done. I don't have a stove or oven. We have to use a toaster oven.We don't have all our windows so we have to put boards over them. And with only having me work we can't afford to buy such a big house. I would greatly appreciate any help. Please consider us. I really do feel that my family has been put through our hard times to get to better times. And I'm praying that it would be soon. Thank you
I am writing on behalf of my daughter, Michelle Walters and her children…In 2010 my husband suffered a brain injury and now is completely dependent on myself and my daughter Michelle to take care of him. She had an apartment at the time of his injury and decided to move in with us to help care for him…in 2013 Michelle lost her job which devastated her, a job she really loved. She tried to stay positive and continued to help with her dad and take care of her children….in October 2013 while still trying to find another job she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer, had to have 2 surgeries and 6 months of chemotherapy. she just finished her chemo but still not feeling strong enough to continue finding a job…she is hoping she will feel better soon. I recently moved my husband and myself out of the house and into another one so that Michelle and her children could have a home of their own…there just wasn't enough room for all of us, but the house is just falling apart, my husband of course took care of all this and now can no longer leaking roof, mold, plumbing problems, electrical etc.. the children have adjoining rooms, and need their privacy, they are 16 and 13…they have been through a lot as they are very close to their grandpa who retired and was the one who took care of them while Michelle worked, he helped them with homework, taught them sports, took them and picked them up from school everyday, cooked all their meals, etc.. he was very dedicated to them and his injury has really taken a toll on them…now their mom has cancer…it has just been such a tough road for them at their young ages. We live in Lakeside, California, San Diego County.. If there is anything that could make their lives a little easier, it would be a warm home that they could spend quality time together and not have to worry about their house falling apart and could focus on their time as a family together making memories!!!

My name is Janet and I am one of 5 siblings and 2 of my siblings are mentally retarded and my older brother has a steel plate in his neck and my older sister has had several strokes along with other medical problems and I have medical problems and the house that we live in is falling apart the foundation has cracks in it and the floors are not even and the walls you can see the boards where they weren't put up right and our house stays cold in the winter and we all have breathing problems and last year I had pneumonia 4 times and the doctors said if I get it again they are afraid that I might get cancer this time, even our dogs are staying sick. The house is not big enough for all of us all of our appliances are breaking down and we don't even have the money to have them fix or buy new ones. We would like to have a bigger house with bigger rooms and in the kitchen have a lot of cabinets. We only have 1 car and we are running it to death and we can't afford to buy another car. Hi my name is Raine, and my reason for trying to get a chance to be a part of your amazing show is not for me but my aunt and my uncle and my cousins. My family lives in a small town in michigan. Come to find out my cousin was diagnosed with a rare disease that can rapidly give you leukimia (I'm sure I didn't spell that right). My cousin Eric is only 19 years old. And for this disease he had to have a donor for a bone marrow transplant. Luckily his sister Jessica was a perfect match! So within this mix of having to stay at the Ann Arbor hospital, it seems like everything possible is going wrong with their home, and having to pay all these bills, that's not their main priority. I wanted to reach out to you and see if you could help them. I love my family and we have been putting on bake sales, and will be doing a benefit soon to help support them in any way we can! Recently Harriet had cement put in her back. My husband is on disability. In 1997 Harriet's husband commited suicide and no one knows why and it has been hard on PJ and Harriet. Hi my name is Laura, I am 34 years old, and and I would like to ask for help on my boyfriends home, together we have 5 children ages 15-9. We strive to provide a safe, loving and happy home for our children. We recently fell on hard times, and it seems like everything is falling apart at the seems. Two of our children have been diagnosed with very challenging behavior problems, my 14 year old son was diagnosed with A.D.H.D. and a form of bipolar, his 11 year old son was diagnosed with extreme autism and extreme A.D.H.D. This is very difficult for us handle all 5 when we live in such tight quarters. We do everything we can to provide for our children to the best of our ability. I was in a very bad car accident which left me with some major back back and neck problems on December 7th of 2011, which left me out of work for a little over 6 months, then came the server anxiety of every day life, then recently I had major surgery on my right ear which left me deaf in that ear, and all the weight of everything was left on my amazing boyfriends shoulders. I am unable to work, which is leaving money for home repairs non existent. He is former United States Air Force, and is currently working in a shipyard to provide for me and my children and his children. It seems as thou everything is falling apart in our hands, we have ceiling tiles falling, and ripped up floors, cabinets falling apart and no means to fix them!!! I am very blessed to have such a caring father and an amazing person in my life and I would just like him to have an amazing home to come to after a long hard day in the heat, cold, raining, or even extremely difficult days in the shipyard. In 2010 my husband suffered a brain injury, he cannot take care of himself whatsoever, at the time Michelle was living in an apartment with her 2 younger children, she decided to move in with me to help with her dad…I couldn't have done it without her! In 2013 she lost her job which devastated her and threw her into a depression…She still helped me with her dad and struggled to try and move on…didn't have any luck trying to find a new job…in October of 2013 she was having female problems and went to the doctor, they decided to do some minor surgery, it went well as far as the doctor could determine….the next day the doctor called Michelle and asked her to come to her office, they found ovarian cancer, this was devastating!!!!!!!!! She has been sacrificing her young life to help me take care of her dad and her children at the same time….the doctor told her they had to do immediate surgery, she had to have a hysterectomy, they also had to check all her lymph nodes, the surgery went well but then she has had to face 6 months of chemo, she has just finished the chemo, currently on state disability but that will run out soon. She needs to find a job, but in the mean time the house is just falling apart, she has put what little money she has into repair work, but, it needs more repair than she or I can afford.. I am paying the mortgage for her so she can stay in her home with her children…this is so important to her!! If you find it in your heart to help my daughter and her children, we would be forever grateful…she needs something wonderful to happen in her and her children's life. Even though she hasn't had a lot of energy, she drops everything to come and try to help me when I need it…I moved with my husband to another home so they could have more room…but, since we have moved (only 7 months ago), the electrical has been a problem, mold in the bathroom, leaking roof, etc…house was built in 1959, sits on a 1/2 acre so there is a lot of room for expansion….we hope you can consider Michelle and her children as good candidates for a better happier healthy life….Sincerely, Marta Willman
I have been married for 35 years.we had children a boy and a girl.Back in August 1999 we lost our 19 year old son in a car wreck.He was on his way to work,but never showed up.He was missing for 6 days when he was finally found by the landowner.My son "Tommy" had went to sleep that morning,was hid in brush,just right off the highway.A year later,we were practilly forced to take care of my neice,my youngest brothers daughter.Him and the babys mother were really messed up,not fit to raise a child.We took care of this baby for almost 4 years,until her parents were well enough to take care of her.Then,after this.We had our first grandbaby "Tanner".Basically the same thing happened with him.we had hi for 3 years when his parents werent fit to raise him.His other grandmother who lived 300 miles away,got our grandson,got custody of him,adopted him.We went 7 years not seeing him,not even a picture.He is now 11 years old,but we still dont get to see him.To some good news…last year in october my daughter had another child.She gave us nother grandson,who we consider to be our miracle baby.My daughter has had problems,so we was shocked when she became pregnant,after several miscariages.Over the 35 years we have been married,we have moved over 30 times.We finally bought a house,rent to own.Got it paid off 5 months ago.Its a old house,needs work especially a new roof as this one leaks.We dont have the money for a new roof.It was be o awesome to win a makeover,would be such a blessing!! thank you for listening!
Hello we are the laitkep family our family has been
struggling with my mom finding out she has breast cancer
while she was pregnant my dad and my brothers and sisters
and me our watching our mom batteling cancer and
just having my premature brother which adds one kid
which makes six of us the reason he had to come earlier is
because the cancer began to grow in 2 weeks from stage 1 to
stage 2 we live in a 3 bedroom trailer with two bathrooms our
rooms are really small and I have 2 sisters and myself and
having to share a room with them and I am beginning to be a
teenager and I have lots of baby stuff in my room because I
am 12and one sister is 3 my other sister is 8 not
only that my bigger brother is 13 almost 14 and has to
share room with a 9 year old sleeping in a small bunk bed and
wants Ace is older he will have to go in the room too also
everytime I go to my room I I'm trying to get my 3 year old
sister to sleep she starts asking me question after we say
our prayers why is mommy's hair gone why does she have to be
sick and that breaks my heart we have some mold issues and
sometimes it stinks I don't really like being in my
room. It scares me because the doctors told us my mom can't
catch a cold or anything because it makes her worst than a
normal cold or anything plus it's not good for our health or
the baby because hes a premie and I know its not good also I
hate sharing a bathroom with a boys because their boys
something that I always wanted is to sit as a family at
dinner time because we have to set at two different tables
because we don't have a big table because we dont have
enough rooms my mom will get weaker as the chemo is going on
and we need lots of family time we love going outside
expecially when my dad grills outside and we play in our pool
that my dad put up this year it is also special for us to
spend family time because my mom and my baby brother was at
the hospital 5 weeks it was very hard to not see her so I'm
glad they are home before we knew my mom had cancer my dad
was telling us within a couple of years we can get a
new bigger house but now we can't because now we have to go
two hours away to get treatment an appointment so now we can
calls from bills gas etc my family means a lot to me
and I'm very glad my brother made it because earlier time my
mom lost a baby boy at 18 weeks pregnant my baby brother
is a huge miracle because he saved my mom's life because we
would have never found out that she was diagnosed with breast
cancer because at first she thought it was Milk clogged
up and checked it and found out it was breast cancer not
only that he is a preime and we are very blessed
to have him home!
My name is Michelle Russell. i have 2 wonderful children Lexi (9) and Dalton (18). i have a hardworking wonderful husband of 15 years and 2 wonderful parents. We have recently purchased a home that had enough land to hold my family and my parents due to my father getting ssick. My father was diagnosed with Prostate cancer 3 years ago and we thought that we had it beat. Until 4 months ago when we found out that it had returned. We are currently living in a 1978 a Frame 2 bedroom home and I have put my parents up in a travel trailor in the back of my home. Unfortunitly my father is unable to work but tries his best to help out were he can. My husband works 16 hours a day and never gets time to work around the house. We have high hopes for this house but with everything that has happened in out lives over the past 5 years its been rough. I had a nerve stroke last year which caused me to loose all usage of the right side of my body. I work hard and recovered 99 percent. My husband had a motorcycle accident and messed up his leg. My mother was in a head on collision and is unable to work due to limited standing and sitting and Now my father has been diagnosed with Prostate cancer again. It just doesnt feel like we can ever get a break. Everytime we fill like its getting better something else comes along and knocks us back down. We are not looking for a handout but it sure would be nice to know that we have a little luck. Please help us bring our family togetether. Thanks
First off I'm a father of three girls 13 ,9,and 9month.My wife had been in a car accident in 2005. I lost my job while I was taking care of her.She had Back surgery.She is the only one that survived.Since I had lost my job due to taking care of her and the kids,she used her out of court settlement to buy a Double wide Trailer that looked fine at the moment she bought it.Have to say that when I lost my job we were homeless for about a year,slept in cars and hotels since the shelter did not take families. She insisted that the family stays together. We shared French Fry's at times from mc Donalds because we didn't have any money.Back to the Double wide it is falling apart holes in floor, bathroom floor rotting,roof leaks and foundation not right, she was so desperate to not be homeless anymore that she wired sum guy some money to put the double wide together only to find out he took money and ran. We ended up stay in in this trailer for a whole year no flooring nails sticking out,no water no lights electricity period .Our kids went to hell and back and still are .The Trailer house numerous snakes rats and ants.We are in no position to fix the house.Kids are saying y we have to live in this dump.Also my wife was assaulted at work and injured her back again so she is out of work for a while.We also have a new baby and we can't even put her on floor to crawl.I have tried to fix floor I g myself but I'm in no means a professional.I'm making 500 every 2 weeks trying to support my family. And can't afford to fix house . My wife is such a lovely lady that would help everyone, only to get disappointed .She Cry's wants to give up kids for adoption because she says that we cannot leave kids hungry and have them live on that house and its killing me. Hi my name is Susan Evans and this story isn't about me, but the most amazing woman I've had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Dannia Williams. I've known Dannia a little under a year through work. Dannia is the assistant manager at a local diner where I work. Dannia has three children and recently she took in her sisters three children as well. Last week at work Dannia gets a call from her husband that her sisters neighbor dropped off her nephew's randomly. Well come to find out the children's father beats their mother and got her hooked on heroin. Dannia`s sister won't stay away from her boyfriend, and isn't getting treatment so Dannia is fighting for full custody of her nephew's until her sister gets her life on track which doesn't look hopeful. Dannia will have custody of her nephew's no matter what it takes. The thing is is Dannia already had four extra people living with her on top of her three kids and husband. Dannia helps any and everyone she can. Dannia needs any help she can get right now since she's now raising six children. I wish I could be as strong as Dannia is, I look up to her and her strong family values and morals.
Hello my name is Rachel Hummer I'm 22 years old and apart of an amazing family that has been through hell. It all started 5 years ago when my father found out he was in the late stages of testicular cancer after several operations and chemotherapy he beat cancer until about 5 months ago when it returned. During the past 5 years not being able to work our house began the stages to foreclosure. My mother and father would do whatever they had to to keep food on the table. And everything that could go wrong with the house did. From roof leaks to a busted pipe. Somehow my parents remained it good spirits. Until one dreaded day august 8th I will never forget my father found my mother lifeless on the sofa. She stopped breathing in her sleep. The emt revived her, but that is all they brought back a body. After many test the doctors determined from the loss of oxygen to her brain the damage was irreversible. Then came the hardest decision of our lives. That was to take my mother off life support. Since my father has been struggling to keel a float. Please help us this is our last chance to a save our home.
We lost my dad to cancer last May. He left behind my mother and thirteen year old sister. My mother has had a pretty rough go of things, the house is partially finished. My mom sleeps in the living room and my baby sister sleeps in the kitchen. The tornadoes that came through in 2011, destroyed their house but they didn't have home owners insurance and with my mother unable to work, they have just been patching problems, trying to keep them from becoming any bigger. To give my sister some kind of bedroom my mother has hung blankets through that part of the kitchen and made a sort of clothes line for her to hang up her clothes on. My mother finds scrap lumber and paint on the side of the road and does what she can. My husband and I try to help her out as much as we can. Since my dads death my mom is just sad and lost, as anyone in that position would be, but with the death and the house falling apart around her it's a little overwhelming on top of raising a grieving thirteen year old child.

Hi, my name is Brittany Sharp, and I am 16 years old. My mother has done more for our community than imaginable. She has helped many of the homeless people around the area, as well as taken in stray animals whenever one came up that we could not locate a home for. Over these years, she has lost so many family member's, she has lost people she held very dear to her, being her mother as well. Her father is always out of town, doing what he could to support us. She adopted me a few months ago, when things became bad with me. She has such a big heart, and a kind spirit. Yet for someone with such a good heart, she's been struggling since the birth of her first daughter. Between everything, with the banks completely messing her up, and everyone walking in, then taking advantage of her, and walking away, she's been left in a financial hole. Within the next month, to month and a half, we could very well be homeless. Our house is completely falling apart, we're living on a giant sinkhole that continues to bring the house down inch by inch every day. There are leaks all throughout the attic, we can see them in the roof, not to mention it seems as though the attic may cave in. We were forced to rip up the car petting all throughout the living room, when the bugs infesting it became too terrible, and the vehicle we even drive has been sacking away all of the spare money we have. The back patio is falling apart. The screened enclosure has began to drop the fiberglass into the pool, all of the screens are ripping. And with how far my mother is in debt because of the banks, she cannot get a loan to even begin to fix this mess. To receive this would be a giant blessing upon our family, because if we don't find a place soon, my mother will be living alone out of storage units with the animals, and her health isn't all that well, with her being disabled- I can only imagine what it would be like if that happened. My little brother and I would be split apart, put god knows where, and my elder sister would not be able to rent from us anymore, and she would be forced to leave elsewhere. To receive this blessing, would be life changing for us all. It would be the prayer we've been looking for.
My name is Joy and I want to nominate the Rischar family for a home makeover. They are an above and beyond family of five who all pitch in raising chickens and bees in Hinkley, OH. Both parents work hard to support their children including the needs of their autistic son.
The bedrooms in their house are so tiny, they are barely functional. Their other son has no bedroom. His "room" is in the upstairs hallway at the top of a very steep and narrow staircase. They all share one bathroom downstairs. The upstairs bathroom has a shower that does not work.
The kitchen is small, dated, and has no dishwasher. With both parents working, hand washing all those dishes and trying to keep the rest of the house clean becomes challenging.
The outside of the house needs repair as well. Their is siding missing, windows and a door that are covered in black tarp material.
Please consider lifting this family up as they have always lifted up those around them. They do not deserve a house that is falling apart. They deserve a new start. Thank you!!
Hi ABC my name is Damien Nelson I'm 13yrs old & I'm the only child from my mom.I've been living with my grandparents since the age 4 and the reason for that is because I lost my mom unexpectedly. Exactly 6yrs later my grandma lost another daughter due to a very harmful disease. My grandma had lymphoma cancer and she survived that. She turned around and had a massive heartattack. She has been through a lot but still manages to take care or my 88 year old grandpa , me, and my aunt kids while she works. My grandma is my everyday hero. I feel lonely at times because I miss my mom so much. I'ma really good kid and honor roll student. My biological father has never been a part of my life. I dont see him on birthdays nor holidays. I love football and I play every year. My grandparents house is a disaster. The rooms are tiny there's No space for me to move around in my room. There isn't a master bedroom in our house. It's a five bedroom one bathroom home. It leaks in the bathroom when rains. If there are to many things plugged at one time it knocks off all the power. The air condition freezes up all the time. I have very bad nose bleeds and when it bleeds it pours especially when It's hot. I've seen several specialist about that problem. I even had tubes in my nose and ears. Me and my grandma have been through a lot. My grandma is a very strong woman. I would like for our home to be remodeled and made over please. Please help me and my grandparents I'm begging you all please. I always say when I become a football pro I'm going to but us a nice home but that's a while from now so can you please make my wish come True please.

He is having back problems that its getting harder and harder to fix up. my parents made a bedroom out of part of our family room the only thing that separates the rooms is a sheet. I do what I can to take care of my son and my family what little I do make. if thats not the worse part we might be kick out of our home because the septic tank is starting to smell because our water pipes under the house is busted. our insurance won't help us. They have(my dad) been rebuilding the house a stud at a time from a mass invasion of termites. Now neither one is able to do it anymore due to age and health problems. Dad has always spent time trying to fix his church first then if money or time permitted,he might be able to work on his own house.
