Child actor auditions are being held for the last season of the popular show “The Vampire Diaries”. Filming for season 8 is taking place in Atlanta, Georgia and children are needed for background extra roles. Casting directors are searching for Caucasian kids who are ages 5 to 9 years old as well as boys and girls of all ethnicities who are 10 to 17 years old.
The Vampire Diaries takes place in the quaint town of Mystic Falls, Virginia which was once a hotbed of supernatural activity and becomes so again with the return after 145 years of vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore. The brother’s presence reignites past battles with a host of mythical creatures and the brothers themselves fight for the affection of local beauty Elena Gilbert. The series stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder.
Selected models and actors will be compensated $88.00 for 8 hours of filming with overtime after 8 hours. The upcoming episode will film sometime between Thursday, January 26th and Wednesday, February 8th. Kids will have an amazing time on the set of this show and this is the perfect opportunity to start your child’s acting career.
