The CW has put out a casting call for “Black Lightning” season 1! Featured and background actors are being hired for a few roles. If you have always wanted to be on TV or are just interested in working on a television series, this will be a fantastic opportunity. The new show is shooting in Decatur, Georgia. According to Deadline, “Black Lightning centers on Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams). He made his choice: He hung up the suit and his secret identity years ago, but with a daughter, Jennifer (China Anne McCain) hellbent on justice and a star student being recruited by a local gang, he’ll be pulled back into the fight as the wanted vigilante and DC legend Black Lightning”.
The CW casting call is looking for a male or female to portray a desk sergeant. This role is open to all ethnicities and is for people who are 35 to 55 years old. Shooting will be tomorrow, February 1st. In addition a large man is being cast for another spot. Guys who are large in stature and size who are ages 28 through 45 are welcome to apply. The actor for this role will be keeping an important briefcase chained to his wrist. Filming will be on Thursday, February 8th.
