Arms And The Dudes is based on a 2011 Rolling Stone article written by Guy Lawson that tells the true story of David Packouz and Efraim Diveroli, two young men who with a shared combination of low experience, high motivation for money and extensive computer skills became an arms dealing powerhouse. Once the duo got a taste of the money that could be made in the business their appetites for decadent living grew and they talked their way into a $300 million contract from the Pentagon supplying guns to U.S. troops. two guys that end up over their heads will require lead actors that can master both drama and comedy with equal skill and that duo has been found in Jonah Hill (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, How to Train Your Dragon, The Wolf of Wall Street), a comedy superstar and 2-time Oscar nominee for his increasingly impressive dramatic turns and Sundance Film Festival Award winner Miles Teller (Two Night Stand, Project X, Insurgent). This pair will be joined by an equally gifted supporting cast that includes Jeremy Tardy (Castle, The Mindy Project, Bone Tomahawk), JB Blanc (Shameless, Burn Notice, The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes), Julian Sergi (Grace and Frankie, Zombies and Cheerleaders, Good Session) and Ana de Armas (The Boarding School, Madrigal, Knock Knock).
