  1. "Do you know how to make a small fortune racing cars? Start with a large one!" Ever since I could remember I have wanted to race cars. At age 30 I quit work and pursued that dream. The money ran out way too quick (see quote above) and went back to the daily grind. Once a year I go to a track and do some hot laps, just to keep that feeling of dreams never dying. I would love a second chance to persue this dream.

  2. I would like to apart of the moment to try my hand at writing storylines for wwe. I have been a fan of wwe for my entire life. In my family that's what we do. I love the unpredictability that wwe has not knowing what could happen next in a fight that is scripted but far from fake as people would say. I feel like in the late 90's and early 2000's there were a lot of fresh ideas and stories that left you at the edge of your seat. I love the thought of bringing that back to the wwe universe. Please USA network and the moment help me live my dream to get a chance at starting a career as a storyline writer for wwe.

  3. My Dads 50 and has had 3 open heart surgeries, he was born with 7 heart birth defects and spent the first year of my life in a hospital bed. My dad has gone through hell and back and has given up so much for me I think he deserves the same. Music is his passion he has spent who knows how many hours practicing. He spent an average of 15 hours a week growing up to be a musician but with his heart conditions he couldn't cut it even though he is beyond amazing at the drums. So instead he got into recording he ghetto rigged his own recording studio in our basement and all of his musician friends record in there. And every single time it doesn't matter your talent he turns it into music that is truly good! I hope that you read this and can hopefully help my Dad out with his dreams he's helped me and I wish to help him back he's fifty and with he's extensive medical record it's hard to say without crying he doesn't have much time I don't think. He has trouble walking up stars in our altitude and his life has been no stroll in a meadow for sher. I just want to see his smile sitting in one of those recording studios that are like the ones on tv. Seeing his face light up would make our whole family smile. I don't think the odds are high that you'll read this but I'm begging you from the bottom of my heart to please consider it.
    Thank you,
    Alex

  4. All of my life I have been a singer and musician. I had a chance to follow my dream as a young man but had to to give it up because my son was born. I am 53 yrs. old now and I wonder what it would be like to live out my dream. To sing and perform in front of thousands of screaming fans. This all I have ever wanted to do with my life. Please if you can give me this chance to free the performer I have always had inside of me. Given the chance I will not fail!

  5. My husband, Gary Lee Tolley, commenced his singing and songwriting career at the age of 52 after retiring from the Army and the computer business. A heart attack at age 56 has slowed him down a bit but he's still plugging away. Please let someone famous record one of his songs or let him sing on national TV.

  7. I would make a great contestant for The Moment.

My career choice is to be a television news anchor. This would be a great segment, with good visuals and a host of TV stations in each market to participate. We could pull in social media and marketing/promotions at all of the local affiliates.

I have the backgound and experience to be a good candidate and succeed. I have a BA in communications from Columbia in Chicago and some TV experience but I am having a hard time breaking into the business.

    Looking forward to the opportunity!

  9. I saw the show THE Moment when I was watching my other favorite show Necessary Roughness and I'm 30years old and very athletic and I need a chance or a moment to shine and my dream or goal is to be a athlete/bodybuilder/trainer/firefighter Since my Mother and Brother passed away my family had scattered and I been on the road to various places like San Francisco, CA, Salisbury, NC, Minneapolis/St.Paul, MN, Hartford, CN and went to Dallas, TX and couldn't get a break to make my life right and now I'm back in my hometown of Muskegon, MI and I don't want to be a statistic on some death toll or be one of those people that stayed somewhere and did nothing with his life I have made sacrifices for so many people and I want to make my mother and brother proud of me and most likely become stable and dont have to worry about anything again I couldn't get in the military because i failed one part of it that I committed suicide twice at a young age and I'm tired of being a failure or failing and maybe this is my shining light into the darkness

  10. 6A Allstate Football player, QB, reciever, punter. Trained with the Colquits, undefeated QB 8th grade up in every game. In shape and ready for a shot. Will NOT disappoint.

  11. I am a single disabled mother of two. I had my first daughter at 19. She was born with a severely malformed brain. We spent the first year of her life at UCLA hospital so she could have multiple brain surgeries to relieve the pressure on her brain stem. As she got older it became harder to care for her and her seizures were getting worse. I was a single mom and had no help so I had to place her in a home, which ended up being the best thing for her. After that I decided to go back to school to be a firefighter. I would visited my daughter before my EMT class and on the weekends. Half way through my EMT training I found out I was pregnant again. After that I got married just because I was scared to raise another child on my own which turned out to be the worst thing I could have ever done. We got a job where we worked together at storage properties. He drank all the time and I was forced to run the facilities by myself. We lived onsite so if the boss dropped in it was easy for him to say he was working on the property. One day I went to work and hurt my back. 9 years later and too many failed back surgeries later I am living with my mom and my youngest daughter trying to survive on 926.00 a month in California. I am getting worse and I cry everyday because this is not the life I wanted. Why did this happen to me? Why is my daughter slowly dying? I know people have it worse than us but that does not make the fear and pain any less. I had dreams of joining the army and being a firefighter just like my uncle, God rest his soul. I just want one day to live the life I missed before I can never walk again. Please

  16. My husband has always wanted to be a professional dirt bike rider. It seems like something is always getting in the way, whether it is financial or family. If you could give him the chance to show he has what it takes, it would make his life. We are small town and don't have as many resources or opportunities as most. Please help if you can.

  17. If this is truely for "the Moment" then I would like to know if you are taking average people for this. My husband needs that second chance at what he really wants to do. He is amazing and really wants to be a pilot, but unfortunately we can't afford this. Is there anything you can do to make this happen for him?

  18. Since I was a little girl, I believe that fashion was always my talent. I would spend hours just designing clothes on paper even up to this day. I think my designs are like no other, but my problem is I don't know how to sew my clothes to bring them to life. I was in college for fashion design, but it had to be put on hold because I got behind in payments. Now, I'm just trying to find a job and it is hard to find one in this area. It would be wonderful, if I had someone to take me under their wing to help me get to where I need to be it would be wonderful. I am thankful to the Lord for this opportunity!
    Thanks!

  19. I am a 52 year old mother & grandmother. I have always aspired to be a gospel singer. I have sang in church all my life. I even had the opportunity to record a gospel CD in 2007. I remarried and my husband has End Stage Renal disease which causes him to be on dialysis 3 days per week. I helped my husband to finish raising his 4 children along with my 3 children. Any money we had went towards the children & now for health expenses. This is my dream, my passion. I have so many songs in my head and my heart. I hope you are looking for someone like me.

    Thank you,
    Clarise Williams

  21. Hello, my name is Cherie Pringle. I am a true Foodie and would love to own my own restaurant and have my own show on either the food network or the cooking channel. I am VERY passionate about cooking and serving people. This has been my dream for as long as I can remember and the burning desire hasn't diminished in the least!!! I would love to prove to myself as well as my family that I have what it takes to make this dream a reality!!

  22. Three hours ago I saw the infomercial for your show. I thought to myself "Wow, having a moment to make my dreams, well at least one of them, come true!" I thought what the heck I'll take the step of faith and see where it goes. Like so many of the people whose stories you've read, life for me has seemingly always been a struggle of sorts. Before I explain please let me give thanks for WHAT I do have and for where I am now-Alive.

I am 48 years old. I'll be 49 this coming Feb. 25. Music has and will always be a passion. I started out years ago with the goal of finishing a degree in music, learning to play the piano and any other instrument I could pick up. I sang in the choir for my grandmother, then I fell in love with jazz. I took voice lessons with a teacher who taught Italian Opera. Since then I have been in a blues band, sang country for a year, even did vocals for a classic rock and wedding band. But being on my own since I was 17 I had to work and the older I got the more bills I had and somehow all that I loved in music was just a thing I did once in awhile.

I am unemployed for some time now. I lost my job and my apartment a few years ago and ever since the economy took its turn, I've been having a hard time finding a career. I mean I could find a job, but with 2 student loans and medical bills that gross more than my yearly salary $7.50 an hour is just not enough. So I ended up moving in with my mother in Daytona Beach until I got a call from my father that he needed me. My step mother passed away a few months ago and he was not well. So I quit the 2 part-time jobs on Florida, and moved to Georgia to live with my father.

If I could have a dream come true it would be to learn to play piano and take all of the emotions I have inside and play it for the world. To sing songs that make people feel and think on moments when. I especially love singing ballads.

Truthfully I have so many things I would love to do, like find my purpose in life and to use that purpose for the benefit of others. But singing and music seems to be embedded inside.

If I get the opportunity to speak with you then you would feel what I am trying to say. Well I guess I better leave room for other people. Sorry for writing this book. I got a bit emotional thinking about it all.

Good luck to everybody and Happy Holidays.

    Elaine

  23. My name is Geoff Thurman. In the 80s and 90s, I was a CCM/country songwriter and aspiring artist in Nashville working with Glen Campbell and others. I travelled extensively doing church youth functions and stopped in 2000 to focus more on being a better father and husband. When my daughter graduated and was on her way to begin her own life, my former wife and I wanted to start over again. But my daughter, a rape survivor, was pregnant with her first child as a result of that rape. Our marriage didn’t last, but I wanted still to go back to the music I loved and restart a music career. I married my best friend, who encouraged me to focus on my music. I also wanted her to find her dreams, as she had never been given the chance to pursue her own desires. Her main focus was to become a mother. That dream of hers shattered as her expected first daughter (my second) miscarried and revealed a stage 3 breast cancer. My dream of resurrecting my music career has become a determination to fulfill as I want to build my wife’s birthing center and have money to set aside for my daughter and her four incredible children. I am 54 and have music that people enjoy listening to. I have an international fan base, as well as great support in this country as well. I would love to tell this story to the rest of the world and fulfill this next moment in my life.

    Thank you
    Geoff Thurman

  24. Hey, my name is Kat. I just turned 40 this year. My whole life I've only wanted to do one thing, be in a broadway musical. At 16 my mom left me with my choir teacher for what was supposed to be 3 months to get back with her exhusband…it turned into a year and a half. To make a long and weird story short, I've had to give up a lot to make sure that my brothers were taken care of, I put myself through graduate school and given up that dream because life and family needed me. T this day I can't watch the Tony's because it reminds me of the dream that I could not have. I'd love a change to have my moment…

  27. Hi, i am so estatic that someone such as a great football quarterback, is bringing light to a reality show that will give ALL OF US to whom have ever wanted to make their dreams come true since they began in their younger school days. I would like the opportunity at this late age to prove that i was actually meant to be that drama queen actress as i always wanted to be, having to support myself from the time i graduated highschool and continue to support myself, really WAS a tough time and yes i did struggle but i made my life as success as i could, but always wished and dreamed to persue my dream of being that actress. and now to know someone as Kurt Warner, a professional NFL FOOTBALL PLAYER, really brings light to everyones dream that there is still a chance. I hope that i may have this opportunity as I am 40 years and have been taking care of my medical disabled father for the past 3 years, and a full house of 6 children, and somedays i feel like the Brady Bunche's "Alice" but in true life form?

Raised by a single hard working mother, with a wild older brother, which i learned right from wrong; One who did not leave one second of boredom. Which has shaped the young 21 year old male i am today. I love helping people, weather it helps them through emotional distress, or being the motivator to get them in shape. I don't enjoy boredom, so i often brighten up life's little moments. I am a type of adrenaline junky. So i always challenge myself in what I and other humans are capable of. I'm open to a road that will fit my lifestyle. I've dreamed of being an entertainer, parkour and free runner, wingsuit flying, Base jumping, or saving a life for those in mother nature's catastrophic events. I am dream big, and have the determinations to do them all.

  43. I have dreamed of becoming a life flight pilot. It was all in the making to start school to get my pilot ratings but my wife became pregnant with our beautiful little girl. My wife also started graduate school to become a pharmacist, so it was put on the back burner for a while until she graduated. Just seven months before my wife was to graduate, my soon to be three year old daughter was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive brain tumor called ATRT. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments followed radiation. It looks as if the dream of becoming a life flight pilot may just continue to be a dream.

  49. My brother is thirty five years old and he works as a security guard in LA. He graduated from The University of Southern California in 2003 and enjoyed working for Warner Brothers. He has dreamed of being a writer since he was five. He left LA in 2006 when our mother was diagnosed with cancer. I admire him for his devotion to her. He was her youngest child and he sacrificed his career to spend her last days with her. Since his return to LA he has not been able to devote much time to writing. I would love to see him have a second chance as a writer.

  56. am writing on the behalf of my 10 year old son who dreams of one day becoming a famous drummer. My son who is 10 has been playing the drums since he was 4 years old. It all started with the 2001 movie drumline : ) he was a year old when he first watched that move and till this day watches it like it just came out. I tried asking him if he wants to play any sports but of course NO will always be the answer. His mind is focused on drums and only drums. In 2011 he had an opportunity paling in a band with 2 high school students, which he was very excited about. A 9 year old playing with high school students is something he will always remember : ) They played at restaurants and also did studio time. He now attends a music school and is loving it,but he wants something a little more challenging. So i would love for him to be seen for his talent on your show. It makes me happy to see my baby happy.

Thank you!! (waiting on a higher blessing)

  60. What a perfect concept for a new show! I find it ironic that I stumbled upon this website because in the last few months I have said I would love to find an oppurtunity just as this one. I am a 31 year old mother who never had the chance to dream dreams let alone try to fulfill them. I have been on my own since I was 16 years old and have worked very hard just to survive. I did not have the oppurunity for higher education and have recetly found myself wondering what my purpose is in life. I have always wanted to give Holywood a try, but years of beng a single mom would never allow that to happen. I am a true "Dream Believer" ( my theme song!) I have a strong work ethic and thick skin. I have the desire like no other to make something of my life, leave my mark on this Earth. My desires are not money driven or the need for notoriety, it's from within myself. I want to be a role model. I want to be someone that proves no matter what trials life throws at you, you can make it, you can do it! I would love to have the opportunity to speak to the casting directors and tell them my story.

    Sincerely,

    Kandy

  61. I am a 28 year old wife and a stay at home mom of 2. My father always told me that I should have been in acting or dancing and so that's why I am replying to this. I love to dance and joke around and love to just be the center of attention. I had opportunities to go for acting and dance but never really believed in myself like all my friends and family do. So I figured "what the hey" and here I am giving it a shot. Hope to hear from you.

    Nicole 🙂

  62. This is my dream! I just need a chance.. one opportunity to prove myself. Trying to make ends meet! I would be so thankful and joyed to participate in the making of this show and work with such talented people who have the same desire as me. 64. MY NAME IS JERRY I AM A 15 YEAR OLD FROM MIAMI FLORIDA AND THE ONLY THING I WOULD WANT IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE LEGENDARY,MEANING DOING EVERY THING I EVER WANTED TO DO…MY LIFE IS BORING

  65. Every since I can remember I hopped on becoming an actress. "Like in the movies" i'd say to my parents, they encouraged me to do talent shows at my schools and to do after school activities that would involve me preforming in front of people. In my pre-teen years, I would hope and pray to become "the next big thing", kind of like Raven from That's So Raven but now I want to be more like Dakota Fanning, she's able to portray any character and I know i'm capable of the same. This would be such a HUGE opportunity for me. I recently graduated from high school and i'm starting to get serious about acting. I am very determined and would make you proud if I were chosen.
    Thank you for your attention,

    Cindy

  66. An opportunity of this magnitude would be a DREAM come true! I have always had a love and desire for theatre and film. I am currently taking acting classes for film. I am a 52 year old African American woman, who has been told, I am too old to start this career. I know the love and the passion inside of me so I will continue to push from within. Given that one more chance and rare opportunity, I can make it happen. I have had to take care of my family, raise my children and just wasn’t able to pursue my dream in my earlier years. My children were finally grown and then my husband took sick four years ago, whom passed away a few months ago. So now, that my children are grown and my husband is gone, it’s my turn. This is my time to make my dream come true, my reward for my faithfulness.

  67. I would love to be on ur show I have alway wanted to become an actress.I have a learning disability and that have hold me back from following my dreams. But I have come to realize that if I don't try I will not know what can happen.I'm a hard worker and I go after what I want in life. This is something that I have wanted to do most of my life and im ready to do whatever it takes. I'm 28 yrs old, I will be so happy if you pick me.My dad died two years ago and after that my life started falling apart. I have had so much disappointment in my life that I need a change.I have two beautiful kids and I want to teach them in life u can do anything that u put your mine to do.thank you

  68. I would love a second chance to become a helicopter pilot. I work as a simulator engineer for a major airline and we do have a helicopter simulator. It fly’s exactly like a Eurocopter ES350 B2, and I can fly it better than most experienced pilots who come here to train. I am naturally gifted as a helicopter pilot (in the simulator) and literally amaze the instructors with my ability to "feel" the controls and position the helicopter, which is something most people never achieve. To be a helicopter pilot has always been a life long dream. I can not think of anything that could possibly be more rewarding than to wake every day as a professional helicopter pilot and would cherish an opportunity to demonstrate and prove my abilities.

  69. I would love to become an actress and/or model. I have felt that nobody has ever really believed in me to ever make it in the entertainment industry. Although, I've modeled at a couple different events. I've always wanted to become an actress/model since I could remember. As crazy as it might sound, I've been through enough in my life already that I'm sure I would be able to play a part as anyone or strut my stuff down the runway. I had kids so that slowed me down a bit for me achieving my dreams of acting/modeling, I'm still a stay at home mom, but they are getting old enough now to where I am able to try again. I have more confidence now then I've ever had before and feel good enough to where I think my looks are better then ever whether it be on or off camera/set.

  70. I would love to get an opportunity to live out my dream of being an actress because over the last 7 years society has been telling me that that's where I belong. I've dream of being an actress since I was in college but I didn't believe in myself. Now I have the confidence, looks, and skill to be an exceptional actress. I owe it to my "fans" friends, family, strangers and former colleagues. I'm currently a stay at home mom. In the past I was a socail worker and teacher. I taught for 7yrs. My students always told me that I didn't belong there. They said I belong in Hollywood. As a result, with so many people believing in me I've decided to resign from work and give acting all I've got. I can definitely relate to Kurt Warner and hope to hear from one of your casting directors. I promise I will not let you down.

    Sincerely,

    Samantha
