VH1 Daytime Divas Seeking Recurring RolesVH1 is adding a new series to their lineup. “Daytime Divas” will star Vanessa Williams stars as Maxine, the creator/host of the popular talk show “The Lunch Hour.” Joining her as co-hosts of “The Lunch Hour” are Tichina Arnold as Mo, Chloe Bridges as Kibby, Camille Guaty as Nina and Fiona Gubelmann (Wilfred) as Heather. McKinley Freeman is Shawn, Maxine’s son and ‘The Lunch Hour’ producer. The series is set behind the scenes of a long-running daytime television show, chronicling the fireworks that erupt daily between the five female co-hosts. On screen, they are best friends with five very different points of view, but behind the scenes, they inhabit a world of power struggles, cat fights and cocktails.

Casting directors are now filling recurring roles as well roles for a bar scene. For the Core Ensemble background backstage group, they are seeking real/practical camera people, stage managers, hair stylists, make-up artists, wardrobe women, props people, sound editors, DP, audience coordinator, script supervisor, and more to play the people behind the scenes! These roles will work multiple days in each episode. The bar scene calls for men and women to play the role of urban bar patrons, cocktail waitresses, bartenders and bounders. These are background roles for the new series that is shooting in Atlanta. These roles will film for multiple days during August 25th through September 8th. Real bartenders, bouncers and waitresses are a plus.
