Teen actor auditions are now being held for a major feature film. The movie casting call is looking to fill a featured role so this is a great opportunity. The feature film “Fam-i-ly will star two time Golden Globe nominated actress Taylor Schilling. You may know her from the cast of “Orange is the new Black”. Casting directors are searching for a teen boy who appears 16 to 17 years old. They are in need of a male who is ethnically ambiguous and 6ft or taller.
The team is accepting submissions for males who are younger or older but they must look to be that age range and must fit the height requirements. Filming will be in Atlanta, Georgia and the surrounding areas. It is scheduled for the beginning at the end of February and will shoot through the end of March. The pay rate will be higher as this role is featured and part of the cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Fam-il-y” centers on the relationship between an emotionally stunted aunt (Schilling) and her 13-year-old niece, who wants nothing more than to run away from home and become a Juggalo”. If you haven’t heard of a Juggalo it’s the name given to fans and followers of the hip hop group Insane Clown Posse or ICP.
