Do you remember the 2000 Mel Gibson movie “What Women Want”? We are going to see an adaptation of the film but this time we will get to see “What Men Want”! Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson has been taking the big screen by storm. She has signed on to star in the upcoming film. The director is searching for three men who have 1980’s looks. Specifically the team is seeking guys who have long hair, Afro side burns, mustaches etc. Actors are being hired to portray an 80’s boxing team. This is for a photo session for the movie. Applicants do not have to have boxing experience.
“The new version follows a female sports agent (Henson) who has been constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When she gains the power to hear men’s thoughts, she is able to shift the paradigm to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA’s next superstar, according to Deadline.
Filming will take place this Friday, April 27th. It is shooting in Decatur, Gerogia. Pay for the photo shoot will be $75.00 for 8 hours. Because this role is for boxers anyone who applies must be fit and have a flat stomach. This will be a fun opportunity to get to work on the movie.
