The upcoming film Marshall that is being shot in Buffalo, New York is now casting for extras to appear in the movie. They are looking for all types and ethnicities. Extras do not have to have any experience to be considered. Since the movie is filming in Buffalo, the casting team is looking for men and women who are local to work on the movie.
“Marshall” is based on the young Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall defending a black chauffeur in 1941 against his wealthy socialite employer in a sexual assault and attempted murder trial that quickly became tabloid fodder. Marshall was partnered with Friedman, a young Jewish lawyer who had never tried a case”, according to Variety. The movie stars Chadwick Boseman, who play Jackie Robinson in “42”, as Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall and Josh Gad as lawyer Sam Friedman. Also starring in the film are Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens, James Cromwell, Sterling K. Brown and Keesha Sharp.
The movie will be a period piece that is set in the 1940’s. The movie is set to film in Buffalo through the end of June. The background actor roles are paid.
