Golden Globe winner and star of “The Good Wife” Juliana Margulies has been tapped to star in a new series. “Dietland” will be airing on AMC. An extras casting call is on the search for non-union actors to play hipsters and foodie types. These roles are open to men and women ages 18 to 40. The outside shoot will be on Friday, February 9th. Because the exact start and wrap times are unknown, all applicants must have full day availability.

According to Deadline “Dietland” follows Plum Kettle (Joy Nash), an obese woman who is preparing for weight-loss surgery when her world is upturned by two rival feminist factions. Caught between old ideas and radical new extremes, Plum must decide for herself what it means to be a revolutionary as the “war of the sexes” becomes literal”.
