Julia Roberts Movie Wonder Seeking KidsWould your child love to work with Academy Award winning actress Julia Roberts? Casting directors have released a new kids audition for photo doubles for her new movie “Wonder”. The movie is an adaptation of R.J. Palacio’s novel. According to The Hollywood News, The film tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman. Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to discover their compassion and acceptance, Auggie’s extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can’t blend in when you were born to stand out. Also starring in the movie is Jacob Tremblay.

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking the SAG or Non Union Caucasian boys who are 6 to 11 years old to be photo doubles. Boys must have brown hair. The tentative shoot dates will be Monday, October 24th and Tuesday, October 25th. Boys must be available for all of the days if selected. Kids will be asked to ride a bike so please note whether your child knows how to ride a bike. This role is for the lead child so boys must be 50’ in height or 4’2 and around 50 lbs.

The subject line of the email must say FB Washer Photo Double – Avail. Because the movie is shooting in New York City, kids must be local to the NYC area in order to be considered.
