Academy Award winners Al Pacino, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci are starring in the upcoming movie “The Irishman”. The feature film will tell the story of the Mafia, the Teamsters and Jimmy Hoffa. It is being directed by one of the best, Oscar winner Martin Scorsese. Filming will be in New York City, New York. A 2017 movie casting call is now accepting submissions from actors to be extras. While specific roles have not been released, casting directors are looking for men and women to apply. The team is accepting models and actors who are ages 18 and older at this time.

Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel and Bobby Cannavale are in various stages of deal making to board the Netflix feature, which is based on the book by Charles Brandt, I Heard You Paint Houses: Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran and the Inside Story of the Mafia, the Teamsters, and the Final Ride by Jimmy Hoffa. De Niro is portraying Sheeran.  He is the tough Irishman hitman who is said to have carried out over 25 mob murders, including that of legendary Teamster head Hoffa (Pacino), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
