Two-time Academy Award winning actor Sean Penn is heading to television. He has signed on to star in the upcoming Hulu series “The First”. A kid’s acting casting call is searching for boys to be photo doubles on the new show. Casting directors prefer a child who is home schooled because this is an ongoing role.

According to Deadline, “ The First follows the first human mission to Mars, exploring the challenges of taking the first steps toward interplanetary colonization. The story focuses not only on the astronauts, but also on their families and loved ones, as well as the ground team on Earth.”

The production team is on the search for a boy who is 5’5 and 110lbs. Because he will have to match a lead actor, he must have red hair or be willing to dye it. Since the wardrobe sizes are a 31 waist, 31 hip, 14 pants and 16 shirt, boys who apply must fit those specs. This is an incredible opportunity to work one on one with the director.
