ABC has added a new television show to their lineup called “Downward Dog”. Casting directors are in need of a real family or single actors they will put together as a family for featured roles in the new series. Mosser Casting is looking for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania local actors for “Downward Dog”. According to Deadline, the quirky comedy show follows a talking dog. Downward Dog is about a struggling millennial, Nan (Allison Tolman), from the point of view of her lonely and philosophical dog, Martin. One session at obedience school already makes them realize that even at their worst, they may be the best thing for each other. The cast includes Allison Tolman stars as Nan, Lucas Neff as Jason, Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Jenn, Barry Rothbart as Kevin and Mo Collins as Kim.
Filming for the scene will be on Thursday, September 15th in the Northside area of Pittsburgh. It features a family eating dinner at an outdoor picnic area. The pay rate is $150 per person! A wardrobe fitting for actors may be required. Producers are looking for a male and female to play a mom and dad. They are looking for actors in their mid 30’s to early 40’s. Anyone with acting experience is a huge plus. They are also seeking a boy and a girl who is between the ages of 6 and 8 years old who are precocious and outgoing. Everyone must be able to follow direction really well.
