If you loved the movie Get Shorty, you are going to be excited about the new series coming to television. Ray Romano and Chris O’Dowd are teaming up to play the eccentric characters from the movie on the small screen. Epix has ordered 10 episodes of the straight to drama series “Get Shorty”. A new TV show casting call for the show is here so you have the opportunity to work on it. Casting directors are searching for a large number of men and women ages 21 to 30 years old. They are in need of background actors of all ethnicities to film on January 6th, 2017. The series is filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico so they are looking for local actors and models.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show is “based on the 1990 Elmore Leonard novel and subsequent 1995 John Travolta film of the same name, the dark comedy centers on Miles Daly (O’Dowd), who works as muscle for a murderous crime ring in Nevada. For the sake of his daughter, he attempts to change professions and become a movie producer, laundering money through a Hollywood film. But instead of leaving the criminal world behind, he accidentally brings it with him to Los Angeles. Romano will play Rick, a washed-up producer of low-quality films who becomes Miles’ partner and guide through the maze of Hollywood”.
