There is a cool new opportunity for kids to take part in an upcoming Valero commercial! You have probably passed by one of their gas stations at some point seeing as more than 7,500 outlets carry the Valero, Diamond Shamrock, Shamrock and Beacon brands in the United States and the Caribbean; Ultramar in Canada; and Texaco in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Valero is a Fortune 20 company that is based in San Antonio, Texas.
Grasshopper Casting is looking for youth baseball players between the ages of 9 and 12 years old along with their supporters to appear in a scene for the upcoming Valero commercial. The shoot will be taking place in Johnson City, Texas on Thursday, May 5th in the evening. For participating in the shoot, the company will be making a $2,000.00 donation to the team!
Casting directors are looking for 18-19 players. One baseball team is preferred, but they are open to using two teams that could portray a scrimmage or a practice. The kids should be between the ages of 9 and 12 years old. They are looking for one ref/umpire, one to two coaches and 15-20 people to be in the stands. They will be using friends and family of the players. The shoot will be about three hours maximum and will be really fun. Our family lives and breathes the baseball world. My husband played college, minor and holds most strikeouts on a city league team in Houston, TX at age 35. We have a 16year old son that pitches his fast ball tops out at 90 and travels throughout the summer playing. We have a 12 year old son that is massive at the plate and knocks the snot out of the ball. Last but not least we have a 5 year old daughter that plays softball . We have a baseball academy in Kilgore, Texas which consist of 12,13,and 14 year old team. we also have a 16,17 and 18 year old traveling teams. My husband coaches and runs them all. We would love to be consider in your Valero commercial or maybe a baseball reality show.
