There is a new extras open casting call being held for the Netflix Series “Mindhunter”. Mosser Casting is looking for new faces for the series. The show is executive produced by one of the best, David Fincher who brought us Gone Girl, Se7en and Fight Club as well as Academy Award winning actress Charlize Theron who starred in “Monster” (which she won the Best Actress in a Leading Role Oscar) and Mad Max: Fury Road that won an impressive six Oscars this year and was nominated for another four.
The series is based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit that was by former special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. According to Deadline, “For years, Douglas pursued some of the most notorious serial killers and rapists, developing profiling techniques to catch them. The book goes behind the scenes of some of his highest-profile cases, including the man who hunted prostitutes in Alaska, the Atlanta child murderer, and Seattle’s Green River killer.” The series will center on two FBI agents who pioneered behavioral profiling in the 1970’s.
Filming will take place in the Pittsburgh area from May through December. If you are already on file with Mosser Casting or are under the age of 18 years old, please do not attend the casting call. While the casting team is looking for everyone over the age of 18, they are especially looking for people to portray police officers, EMTs, firefighters, SWAT, Military, FBI Agents and recruits. Experience with any of those fields is preferred but not necessary. Most background extras will only work one to three days. Auditions will be held on Saturday, April 16th from 11am to 4pm by Nancy Mosser Casting. The casting call will be held at Blackbird Studios at 3583 Butler Street in Pittsburgh, PA 15201. Acting has always been a driving passion in my life. This show sounds amazing! I possess a background that has delved into the medical field, psychological field, abnormal psych and profiling so this would come naturally.
I have also attended Mill Mountain theater, the Firespark program in Georgia, have an a.s in specialized fine arts, and was in a movie "The Broken Road". There has also been a small amount of modeling in my past.

I have always been into acting, I have been in numerous plays with the Milwaukee Youth Theatre; I played a lead role in The Phantom Tollbooth and a supporting role in And Then There Was One. Last year I took a theatre class in my high school and got an A both semesters. After this year I plan to go back to that class for the upcoming years of my high school career. I believe I would be a great asset to "Mindhunters" because I have always been able to switch into a certain persona to portray a certain character.
