  1. I am by far the worst cook I've ever met. I even mess up box food. I hate the kitchen I don't know what anything in it is for. I make my husband do all the cooking even though I'm a stay at home mom and he's a police officer and has crazy hours. Our kids would starve if he didn't cook. Help me please

  2. Well I have loved to cook but most of my meals are just simple and most of time can't be eating but I still keep on trying My family says Thank GOD for prepared foods

  3. I am the worst cook in America….. I cannot stand the way raw foods feel, like raw chicken is the worse (gag). When I plate food, I do not even like my food touching because if something taste gross, I feel it will cause everything else to taste just as gross. One time my daughter and I almost burnt an entire hotel down bc we did not add water to the cup of easy Mac and the plastic caught on fire.

  4. Please please please – this is where my husband Dave needs to be. This husband & father of 3 has not a CLUE in the kitchen. He is the WORST without a doubt. How can this be…… I mean as an adult, don't sone things come with just a little common spence????? He is scary in the kitchen as much as we love him. I just don't get it…..

  5. My daughter needs to be on this show. She needs to learn how to season her foods and what goes well with what food. She made us scrambled eggs with lemon and A Chuck Roast seasoned only with cinnamon.

  6. Please, Please, Please my husband age 41 and son age 18 cannot cook worth a damn everything they attempt to cook is either undercooked burned or straight dumped into the trashcan I am so tired of cooking everything from breakfast lunch and dinner if you could pick one or both I would truly be ever so grateful this will allow me to hang up my apron for once.

  7. Wow this is the show for me. I am 32 year old female who needs desperately to learn how to cook. One would wonder how my first job in the Army was a cook. I ask my mom often how did I miss this life lesson growing up? In order to learn to cook I guess one would need to understand how to adequately grocery shop. I am still learning how to make minute rice. My idea of a home cooked meal is eggs, bacon and cereal. I would really love an opportunity to be apart of this show.

    Sincerely,
    Bridgette Kelly

  8. Would love to learn to creat good food. I burned jello one time. That is the truth. I watch shows on your network where kids can do most things with food that I can not. I've tried some. I think I'd be a good prospect and compedidor. Please give me a shot I may suprise you and me.

  9. I want to learn how to cook especially being a father. So I can cook for my child and not make him disgusted.
I will show my dedication to working and learning.
    Please contact me.

  10. My fiancé is the worst cook he try's to cook dinner but he always burn or give us roar food we always end up with carryout. We have been living on carryout and frozen foods pizza's and hamburger and hot dogs He just found out that he has diabetes and he needs to learn to cook healthier food for himself and me and the kids. We need help Please pick my fiancé

  11. My husband John is by far the worst cook in America! His idea of a home cooked meal is found at a local fast food restaurant. IF he attempts to make something for our three daughters it ALWAYS comes out burnt. He cooks everything on HIGH! This is also true when he uses the grill, which he has been banned from.
Please choose him so that our family and friends can see first hand that my daughters and I are not exaggerating.

  12. No beating around the bush on this one. I can not cook. It might be because I can not taste the food I cook. I had a accident when I was younger and burned my tongue bad. The nose still works and that is how I try to judge my food. I usually burn water on the stove yeah it is true. I don't know why. I put the water in the pot set it on high and wait ten to fifteen minutes. My meat loaf is usually a building brick. Yes a brick baked for 1 hour then break a window. Let's not talk about any baking skills because there is none. BBQ ha let me say fire is not my friend. I want to be on this show because I really need to learn how to cook and not eat fast food all the time. I can't afford it.

  13. My dad, Tim Welsh, is definitely one of the worst cooks in America. The only thing I have ever seen him make is eggs. The worst part is he cooks them in the microwave inside a plastic bowl! They make the whole house smell and they look disgusting. He overcooks them to where they are hardly yellow. When I was young he made me try them. They were the WORST thing I have ever put in my mouth, and I say that because I never actually swallowed them. We always go out to eat, order a pizza, or eat frozen dinners. Please, help my dad and I.

    Sincerely,
    Abigail Welsh

  14. My husband just asked me what I'm doing and I told him that I am wanting to get on the show Worst Cooks in America, and he straight up told me that "you would for sure win." Seriously, Need I Say More?

The frustrating thing is, It's not that I don't like to cook, I'm just absolutely a fish out of water when it comes time to make anything. I stick to my two dishes boxed mac n' cheese & Spaghetti, maybe some cereal.

I've messed up hard boiled eggs for crying out loud!!

I'm desperate! I need help, so that my family stops suggesting we go out to eat every night!

  15. I NEED my husband to be on this, he cant even make mac and cheese from the box. He burns everything he tries to make. Id love for him to be able to cook so i can have one day off from cooking every once in a while. He is the Worst Cook in America by far. Please pick hin

  16. please save me. I fear my husbands food may poison our children and I to death. The only thing he can make is ramen. Sincerely the desperate wife.

  17. My boyfriend, Allen,is by the far the Worst Cook in America hands down. His skills are so bad that he is not even allowed to open the refrigator without me being present. His idea of a romantic meal is undercooked chicken covered in gravy to hide the blood still oozing from the meat. And let's not talk about breakfast with the bacon so raw, you would think the pig was in the other room. Please, please help my baby become a better cook before we get married.

    Thank you

  18. I need to nominate my best friend, Anna DeGirolamo. I love her but I always have to cook supper because she is a horrible cook. Anna can't even correctly make Ramen Noodles or even canned Tomato Soup! Her dog won't even eat anything she cooks! Sorry Anna!

  19. Hello! My name is Stephanie, am a middle aged twenty something, and I surely am a one of a kind gal! I come from a big greek family so overall I truly appreciate the value of a good meal! I am so fascinated by food and am constantly eager to learn new things. However, when the time comes for me to execute, I fall rather short lets just say :/. Im an identical twin and have lived with the constant competition for the "spotlight." I am more ambitious than most people in this world and I know I can succeed with the proper tools and knowledge 🙂

  20. Hello! I think I'm a very good cook, I can cook the crap out of Kraft Mac & Cheese! Unfortunately, I guess you're not supposed to cook the crap out of it. Since I'm the only one who thinks my food is edible my family thinks I should be on the show to see the error of my ways. Only for the sole purpose of pleasing THEIR palates! I guess majority rules. Please consider me for the show and I will produce my magic for Chef Bobby And Chef Anne! Let them decide who's right! Thank you.

  21. I am 19 years old. My name is Jasmine. Coming from a generation of people that cooked food it was never passed down to me. I want to be able to learn and become a person that is better than just making cereal to my family. That one day I can pass it down to my siblings and children. Pick me so I can have an experience to make a possible career. Thank you.

  22. My husband told me that this is the only cooking show I should watch because the contestants would be able to teach me something because I am worst than they are. I take the battery out of my smoke alarm when I make toast because it always goes off, so please pick me so that I can learn how to cook those fabulous meals for my husband.

  23. My husband is the worst cook I have ever met! He made me fried eggs that had the consistency of an over boiled egg and tried to make macaroni and cheese and never drained the water from the pasta

  24. Good morning. I am the worst cook in America–or certainly in the top five. Hamburger Helper is beyond my capabilities. My grill at home recently melted. I am no longer allowed to have knives without supervision. I want to prove myself to millions of viewers, as well as my son and husband, who are already cringing in anticipation. Please pick me.

  25. I am a single mom who is a very picky eater and only eat certain things. I need to learn how to cook so maybe i can get a man to share my life with.

    thank you

  26. Our Aunt Paula loves to help and loves her nieces and nephews, but simply can't cook. We are still trying to clean the grease from the stove and counter and walls where Aunt Paula tried to make fried chicken. I need to remind you that she was making fried chicken with burning grease and boneless skinless chicken breast that we're not breaded, AT ALL!!! Please help our Aunt Paula.

  27. Help! I'm a young, college woman and I can't cook to save my life. I've been living off of sandwiches and fast food for as long as I can remember. When i'm lucky I can nab some food from my other or I'll pick up a 'ready made' meal that will save me from starving! I've burned cakes, screwed up fried rice, overbeat eggs and make a cheesecake explode! How does that even happen?! I need HELP HELP HELP! My cooking has gotten so bad I'm scared to feed to family because it has gotten them sick before! HELP HELP HELP! I don't want to murder my family with my cooking!

  28. I'm 22 years old and I've been trying to cook since I was five. For a long time my bad cooking was adorable. At 22 it just means I don't get invited anywhere unless I promise to just bring the ice. I love cooking, I have so much fun doing it. I just wish I could actually eat my food after I cook it, rather than having to give it to the dogs. Most of the time my dogs won't even eat it and it's just trash. I have so much fun cooking and I don't want to give up but at this point I've wasted so much good food In my attempts that I'm starting to feel like food hitler. Murdering a bunch of innocent food. I really need training and professional help, I can't keep wasting food. I'm a huge fan of foodnetwork and many of the stars on it. It'd be on honor to learn from one of them.

  29. My nana (age 69) doesn't know how to cook, and it all tastes horrible. She tries to be "creative" and, "doctor up" recipes, but she fails EVERY time and it is so hard to tell her how we feel about it. No one is honest with her because she gets her feelings hurt. Papa says "great job!" but I think he has eaten her bad food for so long that he is used to it or he has lost his sense of taste altogether. When she invites us over for dinner, we usually make up an excuse why we can't come, or say we will come over later and bring dessert to her house. I would like to eat at her house, but it is a miserable experience! Please help!!!

  30. The problem starts at the grocery store where I don't know how to pick out good produce or meat.
I macerate everything with my poor knife skills.
Until last month, I didn't know you could marinade meats.Contrary to popular belief, it's possible to burn water.
I didn't know there were different cuts if steak until my friend asked me if I wanted a Porterhouse or rivers. I try to cut onions while they're still round (without halving them).
I once thought grilled zucchini were cucumbers.I made scrambled eggs with no milk or water for years and years.I've burnt chocolate while attempting to melt it. I can't follow a recipe. I pretty much live off of whatever someone cooks for me or food from my job since I work at qdoba, or any restaurant I go to. Im twenty six years old and like to workout and would like to get my diet in order but since I dont know how to cook thats my struggle.

  31. I need to now how to cook more than hamburger meat I tried cooking chicken once and sent my husband to the hospital I want to cook healthy and keep my family from the hospital and have a variety of food I can cook

  32. My sister in law really needs help cooking. She literally burns water. She wanted to make some tea on the stove so she put everything together on the stove like it needed to be and forgot about it. 3 hours later she smelt something and the pot was on fire. She had burned the tea. There wasn't any water in the pot just burnt tea grains. She has a boyfriend and her family would really like if she could learn to cook for him.

  33. I cooked a plain omelette this morning. I ate half of it. I couldn't eat the whole thing. I've been trying to cook this dish for a while, yes! a long while

  34. I have the greatest family in the world. I have a 13 year old son, a 7 year old daughter, and have been married to my new husband for 3 years. I've nevered cooked until i got married and my woderful family push their food around and pretend to eat anything I cook. My son has lost alot of weight and my daughter cries for take out or for my son to cook almost every night. I really want to learn to cook to make my family proud and to be able to feed them something they will actually eat.

  35. Hello, I served in the Army for 13 years. I have a wife and four kids and now that I am out of the Army I finally have the opportunity to be at home with my family. So, I want to learn how to cook for them from scratch. I'm tired of fast food and take out. I am also a diabetic and eating properly is now a big deal for me.

I was honorably discharged from the Army after returning from Afghanistan and I am a disabled veteran. This would be a huge opportunity for me because I would love to learn how to cook properly for them and I would like to prove to myself that I can do this.

I have no training or cooking experience. I do not know what the instruments are called or even how to used most of them.

I would love the chance to prove myself on your show, thank you for your time.

  36. I am a new mother to a six month old and have a wonderful fiancé and mother who always ask me to cook dinner and weekend brunch and although I try very hard and use various cook books the food never comes out the way it should
I would love the chance to be taught by the best chefs around to make my family proud and so we can enjoy many meals together as a family
My daughter is beginning to eat food and so far I have peeled and steamed apples and sweet potatoe but she only liked the apples and my husband loves meat breakfast foods and sweets and my mother loves creeps and Spanish foods and I just can't get the flavors right
It is either not enough or way too much flavors and I

would love to learn how to bake cookies that aren't rock hard and cakes not from a box
I d love to learn how to make things like roasts and meats and even a good al dente pasta
My grandmother is 94 and from Palermo Italy and is the best cook and I hope one day to be able to make one of her recipes yummy instead of yucky
Please help so my child and family can enjoy my food
Especially when our family of 24 comes for thanksgiving
I'd be greatful to learn how to cook and bake the simest things and even harder things
I'm tired if spending the money on eating out and never using my apron

  37. I'm 28 and a single mom of a 6 month old baby girl. I cannot cook to the point where I have turned scrambled eggs into powder and blew up my mothers microwave trying to make chex mix where I then proceeded to set the front lawn on fire. I don't want to eat out all the time with my daughter. I want to learn to cook so that I can provide a healthy lifestyle for my daughter.

  38. I am a foodie that can not cook. I grow beautiful fruits and veggies in my yard then ruin them in my kitchen. My husband and kids have lied and told me they just aren't hungry, only to sneak into the kitchen later. I once caught a pot of water on fire. I can provide references if needed.

  39. /I can't even cook macaroni and cheese. I want to learn to be a healthy cook with the right foods. So this would be a fun opportunity!!

  40. The big joke in our small town…literally the entire town…is that I "make" the best ice in town. So, anytime we are invited to a function, dinner, party or anything that involves people bringing a dish, I am always asked to bring the ice. My cooking is that bad. Which is sad, considering my husband is an amazing cook and grill master.

I am 42 years old and have been married for 22 years and have 4 children and I teach high school English. My husband and I have both lost over 100 pounds and I would like to be able to create healthy, delicious meals for my entire family. The thing is, the kitchen scares me and the grocery store makes my hyperventilate. I'm totally out of my element when it comes to anything culinary…but I want to conquer my fears; maybe even make a dish better than my husband, or Atleast enjoy cooking with him and contributing to our meals. And…not be intimidated by him and his perfect culinary skills. My husband works a lot of overtime in the evenings, so the kids and I have YOYO (you're on your own) dinners way to often. When I do cook, I usually make hamburger helper and if I'm feeling really adventurous, I might chop some onions and add black olives…yes, I know, that's living on the wild side! I'd like to create meals my kids want to eat and make it a family affair. I'm perfect for your show because I'm a great learner, with a positive attitude and an outgoing, friendly personality. Please help me lose my reputation as "The Queen of Ice," I know that can become a great cook with the right training. My town, my husband, my children and my students would love to see this transformation. Pick me, I'm ready to become a kitchen ninja! Blessings, Kristen.

  41. It's hard to try a recipe or even discuss cooking when you live with someone (my mom) who's an excellent cook and baker. What makes matters worse, we absolutely WILL NOT TAKE direction/suggestion from each other, and she's as territorial about the kitchen as a lioness about her cubs. And yes, I'm a horrible cook and cannot bake without everything hardening like volcano rock.

  42. Because I'd finally be good at something… Being good at being a bad chef!!! This is literally the only reality show I'm perfect for. I'm 26 and just married a couple weeks ago. My husband loved me enough to sacrifice his love for food. I owe it to him to apply for this show! I'm a chemist. I cook chemicals. You'd think I'd be able to cook food but it's the extreme opposite. I'm perfect for your show!!!! My family could finally stop criticizing my cooking if I learn something! I want this!!!!!!

  43. My husband of 17 years insists I am the worst cook. He doesn't let me in the kitchen anymore. I've tried, but I end up ruining everything. It is embarrassing. I've even messed up jello. I am definitely a good candidate for your show!

  44. I'm 24 and can barely use the microwave. I try to eat as healthy as poosible, but have to rely on my mom and others to do the cooking. I'll be in my own place soon and really need help. Pick me.

  45. I have been told that cooking is like being an artist. You have to have some sort of talent to start with. Well lets put it this way, when I draw- my stick figures look like they have the plague. And when I cook for me and my wife, well I can tell she is being nice to me but I notice she never really eats much at home. She always seems to want to drop by some fast food place instead of me making her a lunch. I really could use some help in the kitchen

  46. My daughter is a trained chef. She refuses to nominate me because she would be humiliated. I am 52 and they only way I eat is if it comes from the toaster or a food bar. My daughter wants to move out but she is afraid I will starve to death. Prepackaged food is too high in Sodium, so I need to learn to cook so I can eat healthy for myself. Let's face it, there are only so many boxes of frozen entrees one can eat and I think I am way over my quota.

  47. I am a 34yr old full time mother. I watch food network everyday trying to teach myself to cook for my boys. The only thing I can make is grill cheese and ham sandwiches which I jack up the bread every time. How is that possible? I even jack up a pot of boiled water. Please Please help.

  48. I am a mother of three boys, one is my husband. I used to be a very good cook, but of late it's not the same. I really need help. My family will be expanding and I need to know how to properly cook ingredients. I was born and raised in New Orleans but I'm in Texas now. Please consider me. My husband deserves a great meal when he gets home from work. Thank you in advance for the consideration. I may even bring a little Lagniappe.

  49. Hi There

HELP! I would really like to learn how to cook for family and friends
I live on Lean Cuisine's dinners.
I need to find fast ways to make healthy meals. I am too impatient waiting for a meal to be prepared. I get extremely hungry and need to eat right away. So watch out!!
Many, many years ago I cooked chicken for my family and the fire alarm went off. The whole room was filled with smoke!
The dinner ended up being a disaster!
So no more cooking for me.

    Thanks so much
    Rachel

  50. I'm 57 and still don't know how to cook. My mother hired a cook while we were growing up, so I didn't learn from her. I've actually made people ill with my cooking. I made my first husband sick because I didn't know I was supposed to refrigerate apple juice after opening. Then it went downhill from there. My kids called me "The Microwave Mama" (they probably still do behind my back). More recently, I made my neighbors sick from 5-year-old salad dressing. Perhaps the worst was when a neighbor had to have surgery the day after dining at my home: bowel surgery! We live way out in the mountains and now people won't come to dinner when I invite them. Plus, I can't just run out to a restaurant; they are 35 miles away. I need to learn to cook, or have no social life whatsoever. Worst case scenario, I kill myself with my own cooking! Hmmmmmm

  51. IM 59 YRS OLD AND LOVE TO COOK IN THE KITCHEN AND AM VERY CRITICAL OF MY COOKING. I ALWAYS ASK MY FAMILY HOW THE OFFERINGS I MAKE TASTES. THEY ALWAYS REPLY WITH A TASTE GOOD OR GREAT AS THEY WINK AT ONE ANOTHER OR MAKE FUNNY EXPRESSIONS. I LIKE MAKING CHICKEN DISHES AS WELL AS PASTAS AND MEAT ONTRAYS. I ALSO LIKE TO BAKE CHEESE CAKE AND CHOCOLATE PECAN PIES. I WOULD LOVE TO BE ON WORST COOKS TO LEARN FROM THE BEST AND HOPEFULLY WIN.

  52. My fiancee, Mike, used to cook for me and my 2 sons. One of my sons is autistic. Recently I have "taken" away my fiancee's kitchen rights. He has SOME talent, but we are a little tired of OVER spiced food, the same dishes over and over, or frozen pizza. Please take Mike as a contestant, he thinks he is a great cook, but I did convince him that IF you take him as a contestant he should go on your show!

  53. I am a 38 year old female from Alabama. I have been married to my husband Kerry for 17 years as of July 12, 2013. I would think that I would be a great contestant for Worst Cook in America because by no means am I the best. I guess I do enough to keep my husband a live, However we do eat out a lot. I think that I cook pretty well considering that I taught myself what I do know how to cook. Keep me in mind for your next season because I believe that I have what it takes to be a better "at home" chef. 🙂 Sincerely, Krystal

  54. I hate cooking and actually married a man who knew how to cook so that I did not have to. Well, we got divorced and now I have no one to cook for me. It is awful because I have two teenagers and both can cook better than I can. I need help. I actually need to learn how to cook. I guess it's never too late to learn.

I need to learn how to cook! I've honestly tried a few times, but my husband is afraid every time I hold a knife that I am going to cut my fingers off. Please help me… and my husband 🙂

  65. Nothing I cook turns out the way it is supposed to, I am incapable of following a recipe, (and although I've never poisoned anyone) most of the time they cannot identify what it is, and I can't figure out where I've gone wrong, I have managed to have some things looking correct, I don't know how I did it as I will put this and that until it seems like it should, however I can never make it the same way again even if I write down how I made it, of course my friends and family usually tell it's very good I not sure they really mean and just don't want me to feel bad. I can never make even box cakes, they are always lop-sided,missing the edges, dips in the center, over cooked, and my cake frosting is past scary, I follow the directions to the tee, it has never, ever looked like it is supposed to, yet I can't stop trying, and believe it or not, they still eat it and tell me how much they really like them, and since once it's in your stomsch you can't tell what it looks like. Please help me my grocery bill is huge most of which I dole out to neighbors, friends, and family
