You have a chance to be on the very popular vampire show, “The Vampire Diaries“! The series is getting ready to film Season 8 of the hit CW show. Casting directors have released a new casting call for a shoot that will be filming on Thursday, July 21st and Monday, July 25th. The superior blood sucking show films in Atlanta, Georgia so casting directors are only looking for people who are local for the filming.

“The Vampire Diaries” was created by Kevin Williamson the man behind such enormous hits as Dawson’s Creek, The Scream movie franchise and I Know What You Did Last Summer. The series is set in the quaint town of Mystic Falls, Virginia which was once a hotbed of supernatural activity and becomes so again with the return after 145 years of vampire brothers Damon and Stefan Salvatore. The brothers presence reignites past battles with a host of mythical creatures and the brothers themselves fight for the affection of local beauty Elena Gilbert.

The casting team is seeking males and females ages 18 to 28 of all ethnicities. They are looking for scholarly student and nerdy types to play interns. This role will work this Thursday, July 21st. They are also seeking males and females who are ages 28 to 50 years old to play News Anchors as well as men and women ages 21 to 50 years old to play News Crew. They are open to all ethnicities and are seeking business types. News Anchor and News Crew roles will film on July 25th. The pay rate for background actors is $60.00 for 8 hours with overtime after 8 hours.
