The Original Sundance Channel’s series “Rectify” is now filming its fourth season and casting directors are looking for people to play couples for a scene in the show that is filming in Atlanta, Georgia. Sundance describes the show as following Daniel Holden who was sentenced to death for the rape and murder of his teenage girlfriend nineteen years ago. Thanks to newly discovered DNA evidence and the efforts of his sister Amantha and lawyer, Daniel’s conviction has been vacated.
In the first season of the series, Daniel is haunted by the past, dogged by the present, and uncertain of the future. As he struggles to adapt to his new life, his return will reignite the fears of a small town and threaten to shatter his family’s fragile peace. Daniel’s alleged crime divided a community. His freedom could tear it in half. In season 3, the plea deal has gone through, making Daniel Holden, once again, a convicted murderer. As Daniel copes with probation, Janet prepares for his looming banishment and Amantha tries to build a life around something other than her brother’s innocence. Even DA Sondra Person harbors lingering doubts about Daniel’s guilt, until George Melton’s corpse turns up, raising new and troubling questions about the night Hanna died.
Casting directors are looking for attractive young moms and dads in their 30’s and 40’s. They are also looking for real couples in their 30’s and 40’s for background roles in the series. They are looking for fresh faces to the show, so anyone who has not yet been on Rectify is welcome to apply. The shoot will be taking place on Thursday, June 2nd. The call time is still being determined, however, they do anticipate it to be early. If you would like to apply for your chance to be on Season 4 of the Peabody Award winning show Rectify, email rectifyextras4@gmail.com. Emailed submissions should include a recent picture, age, height, weight, phone number and all clothing sizes. You should put Thursday June 2nd in the subject line of the email.
